Wow. I walked in and somebody said, “Sabaidee” to a little kid— and I knew I was in the right place. The Thai tea bubble tea is insane. The Laos style sausage and red curry with chicken were the real deal. Perfect flavors straight from Laos— in Oak Cliff. Absolutely in love with this gem of a spot.

This is a hidden gem. I’ve worked close by for a couple of years but had never been. The place is clean, fulfills orders quickly, and the food is delicious. My personal favorites are the chicken spring rolls and beef pho.

Delicious food. Ordered Spring Rolls, Pad Thai (hot on side, good idea), Green Curry. Enough for 4 people, easily, reasonably priced.If I were going to ask for one change it would be paper containers instead of styrofoam.

This place is amazing. I stopped by looking for soy sauce. Had no idea there were so many different varieties! The gentleman behind the counter was so helpful with suggestions on what to make with the one I picked. There’s also a restaurant/kitchen on site. Can’t wait to try it!

This is my most favorite place to eat from. My husband, my parents, and brothers also love this place. My favorite thing to order is the shrimp spring rolls with peanut sauce 🤤 My dad is the one that got me hooked on them, I could eat them all day everyday. WOW, place is pretty good to say the least. I hope they have enough pork rib to last because I’m getting these as long as my arteries can hold up. Soups ain’t bad at all. The pork rib just blew me away.

Such a great store! I wanted to make green curry from scratch and I was looking for an asian grocery store to get the ingredients and some friends recommended this place. The staff was so helpful in helping me find what I needed. I didnt realize they had takeout there too, but it looked good! I will definitely be going back to try their takeout and get any asian ingredients I need!

The food was excellent! We ordered the pad woon sen with tofu and the pad see eew with chicken. The rice noodles in the pad see eew were homemade. Will definitely be back.We didnt want our food to get cold, so we are in the car. The food was so good that my wife went back in to order another dish for her mother. (They are both Chinese.)We came to check it out, since it is the closest Asian grocery to our home. Basic selection of foods and produce, prices ok for a neighborhood store.

This place is hands down the best cheap and authentic Laotian and Thai food. I highly recommend the Lao style papaya salad with the ribs and steam rice. The chicken wing is ok but it’s usually over fried. The Ladna gravy noodles are delicious as well! I’ve spent like $1,200 at this place and it was work every penny!

A neighbor told me about this amazing place, and I’ve been 2 times this past weekend! They have some of the best spring rolls I’ve ever had and the peanut sauce is incredible. The first time I ordered their Kow Peuk - a garlicky chicken soup, and today I had their beef Pho. I look forward to trying all their traditional dishes. The gentlemen who’s taken my order over the phone is one of the nicest persons too! I’m so happy this place is in Oak Cliff, and will be a loyal customer for sure :)

Thai tea, sticky rice, pho, squid shreds (squid jerky) just to name a few things. Call in your order ahead of time as well! Staff is super friendly and prices are reasonable. My personal favorite when it comes to eating Lao sausage and spring rolls.

Best Lao/Thai food in Oakcliff

1st visit to this location today. I hadnt made my famous fresh spring rolls since Florida...and I landed here as it was on the route. Its a small market that carried what I needed for my recipe. I was expecting a larger grocery, but again- I got what I needed so Ill be back. Clerks were friendly and theres a restaurant inside w/seating for you to each. I bet the food is delicious bc as I was checking out I saw a carryout order come to the front and the smell was yummy! Anywho, I was glad to find this place and would recommend. Just my 2 cents..

I have had this place on my radar for a while. It was delicious! We ordered Thai dishes of course, but I wanted to try the Phó. It was sooo flavorful. Better than most Vietnamese restaurants. They dont go light on the spice, if you ask for spice they give it to you! A must try and a small business worth the support!

I cant even put into words the awesomeness that is this little hole in the wall, foods amazing! Want a snack? Look a feet to the right and you got snacks! You want something sweet to quench your thirst? They have cokes, ramune and some boba tea as well. This place is a staple within the community. Nuff said!

I am a newbie to Thai cooking and have gone here to get ingredients. The guy who works the front desk is super helpful, always asks what Im trying to make and gives tips. Have found myself very overwhelmed in large Asian grocery stores before, often leaving empty handed and discouraged. Not the case here, highly recommend!

Today was my first time ordering from Ly Food and I have to say that I cannot wait to try the rest of the menu. The spring rolls are by far my favorite and the green curry is amazing; I highly recommend. Whether you are around the neighborhood or not, the trip is well worth it.

A small, individually owned oriental market which caters especially to Cambodian/SE Asian expats. This place also serves good (although not exceptional) Thai take out at great prices! It is one of the only places to get Thai food in Oak Cliff, and, as stated, the prices cannot be beaten. The owner is also quite friendly!

Whoever gives this place a bad rating is simply just trying to do it out of spite. The food is wonderful. Ive been coming here for 3 years now never had any problems with customer service or the food. The Pho is amazing, very authentic. This place is GREAT!!!!!!! Pad Kee Mao is outstanding and very spicy! Very authentic flavor. The restaurant is tucked away behind the grocery isles. Very quaint and modest. Get here early because those 4 tables fill up fast at lunch time!

If you dont cook Lao food and your mother can not cook for you, this is the place to get your home cooking fix. Order your food by the cash register. I discovered this very small restaurant/market looking on Google Maps one night when I couldnt sleep. Ive lived in Oak Cliff more than 20 years and never knew it existed. To be polite the location and the physical restaurant are unassuming; however, he food is exceptional. The egg rolls taste freshly made and are a great way to begin the meal. The Pad See Ew with shrimp is is my favorite Ive ever had. It is my default dish when I travel and from the east to the west coast Ive tried many Pad See Ew plates. Ly Food Market & Gifts is my favorite. Maybe because the restaurant does a slight fusion of Laos and Thai so it is just a bit better than the rest. This is a family run business and the mom is the cook. Ive seen her go to the market part of the store to get fresh produce if the kitchen has run out of an item. The Red Curry meal has the front taste of coconut and curry and then blooms with other spices finishing with enough heat to satisfy. My friends favorite is the Pad Thai. The service is family run and friendly, and the prices are reasonable.

Oh my goodness. This shrimp spring roll is so good. On the corner of Illinois and Cockrell in the shopping center by Family Dollar. I came here for the Dieters Tea and purchased Sea Weed snacks, Roasted Chicken Seasoning Mix, and Soy Sauce. I noticed the kitchen in the back and the menu posted above the register in front of the store so I decided to grab a bite. So glad I did. I added some of the spicy chilli oil that was on the table and some soy. The best thing ever. This peanut sauce is LEGENDARY!!!!!

Came here for a girls lunch with my sister in law and cousin in law. This was my first time ever trying Pho Ga. Needless to say, it was a very good experience. The owner rang us up and we sat in the dine in area. Everyone was very nice and attentive. Hands down the best customer service!

Mini Thai & Asian Market with essentials & Thai RestaurantThere are other grocery markets close by, so they mainly carry asian specific products: Soy sauces, noodles, sushi nori, frozen goods: veggies, fish, etc.Also, there is a hole-in-the-wall Thai Restaurant in the back. (there is a literal hole in the wall). I have ate their twice. Pad Thai is pretty good. They have limited seating in the back of the market. Lunch time is busy.
