These are my peeps, and I don’t have to be a regular to feel that way. I didn’t know avocado toast could taste that good.
Did not feel like a welcoming place at all. Very nicely decorated.
Deep Ellum has it all. This quaint, artistic, friendly, good humored coffee shop has amazing beverages, snacks and an elegant portrayal of art and comfort. This shop is a great place with friendly people and very attentive staff. This is a cozy place to get work done up or downstairs. Moist lemon poppy seed muffins and potent ice coffee. Its very lofty. Highly recommend if youre in the area.
They serve up first-rate coffee and premium brands of tea at a fair price. Friendly staff as well. A great indy coffee shop.
It’s a tiny coffee shop with limited sitting spaces. I loved the salmon bagel and the cold brew. We didn’t get to sit inside because of COVID-19 protocols but I would definitely come back.
Lovely breakfast and excellent coffee. Very personable owners and staff.
Incredible down home vibe. If youre expecting your fast paced, impersonal, Starbucks experience this is not the place to go. They take the time to speak to each customer and provide a comforting experience. The food was also amazing and they offered a modest coffee selection with nothing too fancy. Serving sizes arent Texas big, but theyre appropriate for a nice lunch.
Blinker Deluxe, Latte (Iced in the summer), Kolaches on Friday, and an awesome team...there is no better way to get the day started in Dallas.
Ordered dirty chai.. was very gritty and didnt taste an inkling of chai.. small was over 7$. Not worth it..so sad.
Cute space. The owners were kind and quick service. Food (blinker deluxe) was 🔥🔥🔥 they practice social distancing. Cant wait to come back.
Support small businesses. Great quality and customer service.
Such a cute little coffee shop with great food and drinks!
Been looking for a place like this ever since we’ve moved from Austin, great food and coffee!! Highly recommend!
The Blinker is undefeated 🙌🏾 I also just finished a caramel latte that was so good Im about to order another to-go.
Its really to have some coffee and I really like it, the place also are quite and peaceful
I love the vibe and the paintings.I appreciated that the options for pour over coffee were available. My pairing for the day was the Brazilian pour over and avocado toast. The toast was a bit salty, which I think was because the salt was added last. The bread was also a bit slim.Overall, it was a good place to get some work done. I liked being surrounded by art works and good music. The noise level was at a minimum.
Love this coffee shop! The owners are super sweet and the coffee is great. Always makes my morning when I get to go to Murray Street.
Love this place, great options, cute location, wonderful staff. 🤍
Highlight of our weekend was hanging out at the cafe, eating blinkers, drinking coffee and chatting with Liz!
Good staff and the service is really good.
This place is the coolest place! The shop is next to the best antique shop in town. This is where I started my shopping days in deep ellum
Ordered two iced coffees, the coffee is ore than delicious. They wore masks we were able to order from the door. 11/10
This is a cute lil coffee shop with an incredible vibe. I went there with a friend to play a card game. Got an iced caramel latte. Staff were exceedingly friendly. It has the energy of a safe haven and it’s truly lovely.
Love buying/supporting local. This coffee shop in Deep Ellum is one of my absolute favorites. The few people that work here are very attentive and even more friendly. Thank you, Murray Street Coffee crew!!! You guys know how to start, and help keep running, your customers day!
Cool interior make-up. Has a lot of potential to be a good hangout/study spot. However, the atmosphere, coffee and service left a lot to be desired. Music didnt seem to fit the mood and the downstairs seemed a bit cluttered. My coffee was quite bitter and lacking flavor.Their service left me feeling more like a burden than a welcomed guest.
My favorite latte in town. Friendly staff/owners and the blinker deluxe keep me coming back.
Great local small business. Go support em!!! Terrific service and drinks.
Love this place. The coffee and food is amazing. The staff and atmosphere are great as well.
Today my bagel was too toasted to enjoy 😭 kind of burned; Because I failed to notice and decided to eat it right before it was time for me to leave, I was not able to ask for another bagel. However, I love the environment and their mugs for drip coffee is the perfect size. Sometimes it can be too busy to find a good work space, so you have to really look at the times this location is mostly busy.
Cute spot for coffee in a quickly growing hip neighborhood. Not to mention the super friendly employees running the place. Highly recommend. You’ll be treated to great coffee and genuine interactions.
I love sky the manager, ive been going here for over a year! Great coffee.
Nice little coffee shop, friendly staff. Room to sit down with your laptop and work if needed. Prices are reasonable.
Dont fret if its busy, it is worth the wait. Quick and friendly service. It has a good atmosphere.
Always good coffee. The people who work there will make what you ask for, the way you ask for it to be made. They offer service the way only a small, privately owned business is able.
I almost dont want to review this place because I dont want it to get busier!! I looooveee the atmosphere here. Perfect to get work done, read a book or chat with friends. The food is awesome and the coffee is unbeatable. One of my favorite places in Dallas.
Was searching for a chill place to get some work done between stops. Found it here. Good coffee, cool vibe. Even free parking nearby if youre lucky.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE (thats three loves) Murray Street Cafe! The place is super cool and the coffee is super good. My only regret is that I dont get to Deep Ellem enough to go there.
Arrived at five, it wasnt busy. The service here is great. The prices are good for what you get.
Hands down the BEST free hand latte I’ve had east of the Rockies. I will be back!
Got there near six, it wasnt packed at all. definitely worth a return visit. the bill wont break you. this place has positive reviews for a reason.
Great place to meet and catch up with friends. The staff was friendly and observant. This place has a cool design. Menu is like a cafe in Indianapolis I loved.
Visited near twelve, it was not full. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The bill was appropriate.
Great Place! I love the quirky set up. Not to mention, that they serve a superb shot of espresso! They have two stories worth of seating and a calm atmosphere for studying or chatting on the street tables. My only wish is that they kept later hours
Currently enjoying a nice iced peppermint tea in a cozy corner at this coffeehouse. My ideal coffee shop has mismatched furniture, varied seating options, a cozy ambiance, a short but high quality menu, solid WiFi, and a welcoming vibe - this place has it all! If I had to take calls here, it would be a little tough due to the loud music, but I could easily find myself settling in / getting in the work zone for 3+ hours here. Would love to sample the food next time!
Cool place to meet and catch up with coworkers. Looking forward to coming back with my relatives. They have a lot of good reviews for a reason.
I cant recommend this place enough! I stop by all the time in between appointments downtown to get a quick coffee and check my email. Great atmosphere, excellent service, and they have vegetarian options!
The service and ambiance were excellent. I had the turkey sandwich with a cup of soup. Both were MUCH better than the food Ive had at any other coffee shops. I highly recommend it and hope Im able to return.
Came in on a Thurs. The bill was reasonable I would say. Reminds me of a place in New York I liked to visit.
Super cool lounging area. Great place to get work done too!
The owner of this coffee is not only rude, but has inherit racial bias that she holds against people of color. During our visit, she was talking so loud on the phone that she could be heard over the sound of my music playing in my headphones. The owner owner also believes in policing people entering the coffee shop, forcing people to purchase something before you take a seat. Not to mention that the furniture and floor is dirty and needs to be throughly cleaned. I wouldn’t recommend anyone using this coffee shop as a study space or meeting space unless you like to hear people yelling, like being in an capitalistic environment, and willing to support a business owner who has prejudice against people of color. There are plenty of other coffee shops in Deep Ellum who would be appreciative of your patronage and have a much better atmosphere.
I was at this coffee house today when I saw this David McDonald accuse the owner of bad customer service. How you gonna complain about customer service when you ain’t even a customer? This guy walks in all sneaky like and stays for a hour after 2 attempts by the owners asking if he would buy something. He just mad cause he got caught for once.I don’t know why he pulled out the race card when he should have just pulled out his credit card. The owners here are a staple of the community. He said he was reading the Bible. Maybe he should read the part when Jesus told the people to pay their bills. Ain’t nothing in life free.
I havent been in the shopping plaza in a while, and when we came back for the first time in a while, we noticed Jozo had turned into Daily Spark. We got the chai latte to try it out.It was a solid chai latte. The flavor is there and its generally a good latte. Its warm and cozy and reminds you of fall. Overall, it was a great latte and I cant wait to go back to try the rest of the drinks.Definitely check it out and support our locally owned cafes!
Came in on a Weds. It has a good atmosphere. Similar to a cafe in Las Vegas I loved.
Its so tasty. the service was sociable and attentive. this place has a nice feel to it.
Coffee was great. They have oat milk and I am allergic to almonds, soy, and dairy... so.. I was happy. The drink order was messed up... but I wanted coffee and didnt care as long as I had coffee.
I happily call Houston home but I immediately felt at home in your corner shop, even though I was just passing through. Murray St. Coffee Shop is a straight shot to downtown for commuters in the morning but it could easily be an all-day enjoyably unproductive diversion for me. The building is distinctive; the neighbors friendly and interesting. Its a slice of what I have found down I-45 in Houston, and I was glad to see Dallasites (is that what you call yourselves?) have that same haven.
You wont be disappointed in the menu and service. I look forward to going back again. Feels similar to a restaurant in New York I liked.
Soooo just so happened to to looking for BoBa and came across this got myself a strawberry smoothie with passion fruit popping boba when I say it was thats a understatement we also got the gelato butter pecan amongst a few other flavors and the service was the best part Ill be back for sure
Definitely one of the best places in the area. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The bill was reasonable I would say.
Best coffee shop in Dallas for my money. The owners, employees and customers are great. Interesting art abounds. Definitely check this place out.
Such a nice and amazing place, it was cool being here and wonderful too
Nice music and cool eclectic atmosphere. Although, eclectic shouldnt also mean dirty. It wasnt really dirty per say, but you can just tell its a bit dusty with the random books and knickknacks here and there. Just looked messy. Wifi was FANTASTIC! I was actually able to get work done without it disconnecting unlike many places Ive been to. The music they play out loud is chill and relaxing, no weird stuff people will dislike.
Great place for coffee and snacks. Everything is made to order fresh so there are occasionally lines but its worth it. A breakfast sandwich takes a few minutes because they are cooking the eggs, toasting the muffins, etc when you order --NOT heating something up made last night, packaged and thrown in a bin.Its worth noting that management insists on using local vendors for their offerings: coffee roaster in South Dallas, meat from 2 local butchers, pastries from a local baker, bread and vegetables from a nearby grocery store. This is a business that was born here, shops here, and supports other locally based businesses. The staff is friendly, the people that come in are fun and unique.Of all the coffee shops Ive tried in the area, this one has the best atmosphere, the best quality, and freshest food.
This place was warm and cozy on a chilly day and was a perfect place to meet a friend. The coffee was good and there were plenty of seats.
It is a very nice coffee shop. It was not busy at all. Soft background music was filling the air and the whole environment is relaxed. The coffee is really good and sandwiches are ok, nothing special but with a home made feeling in them.
This is a great place to sit up in their upstairs loft and sip pillow lattes! Its definitely a local coffee shop. Good vibes...
This is the king of coffee houses. I am a coffee snob, and this place gets 5 stars. The coffee is as good as it gets in Texas. I have only had better in Seattle.
I ordered my normal request at every coffee shop I visit and was charged $7 dollars for it, only for her to forget the vanilla syrup. I was not overly impressed with the flavor of the espresso and noticed that they used Great Value half and half. It was okay.... not what I would have liked for over $7.
This is a little hole in the wall coffee shop I take a walk to several times a week. The folks behind the counter are always polite, and the coffee is tasty to boot. Ive had cold brew coffees, lattes, regular coffees, and mochas. All are delicious.
Nice little two-floor coffee shop located in Deep Ellum. Enjoyed the quietness and setting is perfect for those looking to study.Artwork was well selected and staff is friendly. Did find the bathroom-behind-the-counter thing a bit weird though. But Im glad they make best with what they have.4/5. Will have to take a star off for trouble I had finding parking. But I feel as if thats more of a Deep Ellum issue.
Very nice, intimate (small) coffee shop/cafe. As I approached the counter I felt almost like I was in someone’s private house - now that’s intimate! I ordered the turkey sandwich and it was heavenly. The Ciabatta bread is just amazing. My iced tea was also excellent. I arrived just after noon and there was no line and service was very prompt. Although I didn’t stay long I wish I’d had more time to hang out and read. It’s that kind of a place.
Great coffee, great service and cool set up/vibe! Nice area to sit outside and walking distance from Baylor Medical Dart Station! ALSO, I had the oatmeal for a quick breakfast and it was delicious-topped with bananas, blueberries, raspberries, and black berries! I will be back!
Really.enjoyed the coffee and the prosciutto and ciabatta sandwich was amazing.Big drawback was there seemed to be a pretty big gnat problem upstairs -they were prolific and everywhere! Didnt notice the problem downstairs.Would definitely return if the gnats were taken care of.
Great coffee, really good food, and lets call it eclectic service. The people at Murray street are great. The staff really appreciates their regulars and the regulars really love their coffee shop. Inviting common area are essential for strong communities and this coffee shop fills that need for the Deep Ellum and Downtown communities.
Very nice place. Its a down to earth at home coffee shop. Its a nice change from the big chain
Had a friend come into town and asked me to take him here again. Prices are reasonable. They have so many reviews for a reason.
I really loved this place. Certainly worth going back to.
Coffee quality is excellent, with good balance and enough strength to taste just right without needing extra shots.
Fell in love with this place from the 1st taste. It has a cool interior.
Awesome service every time. The coffee served by Murray Street Coffee Shop is really good and I absolutely love this place.
Cool hidden coffee shop in the deep elm area
A deep Ellum staple. Great coffee, wonderful food, and an atmosphere to match. Get here early, they close at 4.
The coffee is good but slightly overpriced. The shop itself is a great place for studying and has a nice environment. My biggest complaint is the girl who works there. Shes younger maybe in her 30s and I dont believe is the owner. She has been very snotty all three times I have been in there and it is only her with this demeanor never the older ladies. Furthermore, I am not a difficult orderer; so, I dont know what her problem is.
A local gem. Mush visit for some tranquility.
Great place to escape. Lovely little slice of heaven
Illy is the best coffee and its important to support local small businesses 😁
Fun atmosphere, good coffee. Worth your time if youre in the area.
Cozy surroundings and good coffee.
Service was good but it is so so so sooooo expensive. Just spent $14 on two lattes. Not at all worth it in my opinion. I will definitely be sticking to my regular coffee shops.
Comfortable place with great coffee and friendly service that doesnt cost an arm and a leg
