Coffee and food were great! We both got nitros and they were smooth and strong! I got a sandwich, super tasty. My wife got toast on gluten free bread and she was happy. Staff was very friendly and we were glad to see parking was easy and free. We arent from Dallas but if we lived here wed come back.Didnt have any rude interactions with staff or owner like other reviews. Only weird smell was in the pet friendly patio area... To be expected.
Just okay - this place would have a lot of potential (love the atmosphere and the inside is really nice) however (i) the pancakes were just okay, I’ve had better and more importantly (ii) my Latte was horrible. It was extremely strong and tasted low quality. I asked the staff to prepare another one that was less strong which she kindly did but the taste still wasn’t there. If it wasn’t for the quality of the coffee I would gladly go there all the time.
A 2 star is a gift. The service was atrocious. The food was mediocre. Ordered the eggs in jail and couldnt finish it because the hollandaise sauce was too sour. Tropical smoothie was good and received it after I had finished eating. Good thing they have free water to cleanse the pallet. Monday afternoon was not busy and everyone working seemed less interested in service.
Best Dog Friendly Restaurant in DFW area!We had a great brunch with my friends there. We are all Frenchie owners and now it’s super hot in Dallas and we can’t take our dogs anywhere. Toasted Coffee has the only AC’ed patio for pups! Food and drinks are awesome! If you have fur babies, this place is a must try!
I want to love this place. Liked their coffee and food and have always had a good experience with the staff. But - and this is a huge but - it smells like sewage. Ive been probably a dozen times, and it ALWAYS smells like this. The smell gets worse next to the kitchen, which makes it even more gross. The weirdest part is that its not even coming from the bathrooms. Its truly disgusting to be trying to eat and have a smell worse than rotten eggs in your nostrils. I hope they address this. Yikes.
Counter-service restaurant, good for breakfast and mimosas. Menu is mostly breakfast, toast, coffee, and salad, but it makes an excellent casual place for snacks before walking to nearby lower Greenville. Anyone looking to pregame before hitting the bars/clubs in lower Greenville would do well to visit as its a good place to grab food, coffee, and the adult beverages are cheap.
Atmosphere is nice and non-fussy. We couldnt find another place for brunch that didnt have an hour+ wait time and were relieved that this place had plenty of seating (patio, downstairs, and upstairs options) with no wait. The food is solid. Its not out of this world amazing but it is good quality ingredients and decently priced. The best thing for me was that the sourdough bread was ACTUALLY sourdough! A very hard concept for other dallas restaurants to grasp apparently. The coffee, again, is solid. I had an iced hazelnut latte. The espresso is good, but I think the syrup was a bit too much. Overall, would definitely go if you need a quick, easy, and relaxed brunch place.
I’ve only had the breakfast but is very tasty the latte fantastic management is also awesome 👏🏽 bravo. Now everyone that answers the phone is not up to part yet there is a young man that is clueless, however management comes in like the Calvary when you ask Thank You 😊
I like Toasted a lot, but I cant RAVE about it like I want to. Ive never had anything thats really knocked me out of this world, but the food/drink has been just good. Pre-covid (not sure if theyve done it since), theyd have some live musicians playing, and that was a great touch. While this isnt a spot I will jump at coming to, I like it a lot and wouldnt turn it down. I do think the toast is a smidge overpriced, but what specialty toast isnt?
I came here with my husband to start off my birthday. We had breakfast and I had the eggs in jail, it was fabulous. The the staff was very friendly and the environment was very inviting and clean. I love this location in Ft. Worth and will definitely be a regular from now on.
A classic getting work done at a coffee shop that takes you into happy hour. Upstairs area is the best but there always seems to be a weird smell.
I absolutely love the staff! Every single one of them! They are very kind, caring, and friendly. The food is amazing! Very rich in flavor and not messy nor soggy! Their mimosas are A1! Perfection! You can really feel the kick. The atmosphere has a very modern rustic feel to it, very beautiful and peaceful. I like that their patio is indoors! Oh, and they’re dog friendly!!
Ambience was great. Great place to relax and work with good wifi.We tried the brownie and ice cream dessert and it just dint hit the mark for us.
There is ample seating so practicing social distancing was easy. There is a patio section that is more secluded from the main area as well. The staff was friendly and helped me create a drink off menu when I told them I couldn’t decide between two drinks. They know what goes perfect with what flavors you prefer. Overall they were super helpful and fun to talk to. The drink I got was a combo of two of their teas which turned out amazing. This is a great secluded place to just hang out and do work or college study; like a Starbucks but with more food options.
Grayson joined us in the inside pet-friendly patio. The avocado on fresh homemade toast was heavenly.Easter Sunday breakfast was really well done. The casserole was tasty with a slight kick of heat. Great variety of fruit made me happy. What a surprise how good the cinnamon coffee was! And the mimosas were perfect. Thanks, Bob!
We give this place a 2 🌟 just because the food was meh at best. The staff were not polite, inviting or informative. The music was so loud we could hardly hear what he was asking us and he never changed his volume. The A/C was leaking onto the table, bench and floor (the staff were aware.) They just let the customers clean it and sit.We got 2 coffees ☕, one sandwich 🥪, one order of pancakes 🥞, one sausage link and it was almost $40.Im not sure if I would want to go back 😕.
It is one of the best coffee shops and restaurants I found near my office. They also offer highly delicious lunch and breakfast choices at low prices. My colleagues and I cant stay away from this place during weekdays.
Had a great breakfast. They have a nice, dog friendly patio. Very chill vibe for a Saturday morning, there were some people working on laptops and such. This place is great of you want a chill brunch without all the usual brunch craziness. I had the Always Sunny, my over easy eggs were cooked perfectly. Great portion size too, I didnt feel painfully full.
There is currently a mask mandate in Dallas, however none of the staff or people handling the food were wearing masks and only some were wearing gloves. The entire place has a very bad smell. The menu is interesting but I won’t be returning.
The staff has almost always been - at best - indifferent and at worst, just rude. Coffee is average and food is way overpriced. The last two times I went, there was a strange sewage-like smell inside. If you need coffee in a pinch, it’ll do, but there are far better options with fairer prices, delicious coffee, and friendly staff.
Ate here for the first time this morning with some girlfriends, love this place! Really great vibe and such friendly staff. Our group may have gotten loud with laughing a few times but it was such a great energy in there that no one was bothered by our laughter. I had a steak and eggs dish along with a banana coffee smoothie, both were so tasty! I will definitely be back.
What a super cool place with such a neat atmosphere. Beautiful decor. Great nitro cold brew coffee.Everything on toast, sounds and looks so good; cant wait to eat here. Just had their coffee so far. Super friendly people operating this one of a kind place.Really neat dog friendly patio with water bowls.
Coffee was fine, but the bathrooms were out of soap, paper towels and only had one small roll of toilet paper.
Toasted is amazing, love their coffee, matcha and overall vibe—creative, inviting and kind. It was a favorite and special spot for me this past year. Don’t hesitate to go there to study, a date, or chill. Love Toasted!
Great location, great hospitality and nice atmosphere. The food quality is mediocre and the food portion is literally kid size. Super overprice for the food portion and quality. The service is great tho.
Good place to go. Always enjoy stopping in.
I’ve been to the Toasted that’s located in Fort Worth previously and loved it, but I like this Dallas location of their’s even MORE!It’s in the Lower Greenville area of Dallas, which has a lot of great spots, including Toasted!I liked the atmosphere and set-up of this location a lot - very contemporary and industrial, with plenty of seating available, spacing between them, and ample outlets. The WiFi is also very good. It’s a great spot for relaxing and getting some work done!Like at the other location, there’s lots of great food, coffee, and alcoholic drink options.I usually just get myself a latte when I come, but I’ve had some of their avocado toasts at the one in Fort Worth before. They’ve always been so fresh and delicious!I highly recommend coming to Toasted. Whether it’s to relax and grab a bite with friends, work alone for a while, or just getting a coffee and enjoying the atmosphere, they have all those bases covered very well.I love coming here!
I wish Ive taken a photo of the latte I had. It was to die for! Lol seriously delicious. Cashier was very helpful, energetic, and polite. Definitely well be back!
2 stars only because I was hungry and ate the food because I paid almost 40 bucks for it. Sorry,I hate leaving bad reviews. Got the eggs and hash,I couldn’t even eat the hash because it was so chewy! I spit out more than I ate. I got a side of pancake. It was cold. You want good breakfast that isn’t overhyped or overpriced. Gold rush cafe just around the corner. The only thing bad about them is that they are closed Sundays.
This place has gone downhill.... I used to love coming here to work but for the past couple months their drip coffee has tasted burnt and quite honestly, for the price you pay, the food and drinks aren’t as good of quality anymore. Is it a cute trendy place to work? Sure! Are there plenty of other places in DFW to do the same? Absolutely. After they were outed for treating a Vietnamese American customer who gave HONEST feedback for their “Vietnamese coffee” SO horrendously and in their words “despicably” I will not be returning. How unprofessional. Grow and do better Toasted.
I tagged this company in a Instagram post because I just happen to be there while waiting on some friends. After a few days they sent me a message saying:“ Hey ... if you have a Yelp account, we would really appreciate a review. A disgruntled ex-employee got her posse to ding us so we’re hoping to offset. If no Yelp account, please don’t create one in our behalf. We’re just happy you’re a fan!”I have no problems with small business asking for support, however calling random customers “fans” and talking negatively about ex-employees is not a good look, or professional in any way. This leads me to believe that anything that the old employee said about toasted is 100% true.I’ve only had a few pricey drinks before leaving shortly after. But I probably won’t be back given how they handle business, It’s very uncomfortable.
Coffee was nice, staff was great, cute place. But the toast ? Overpriced and sadddddd. I make much better at home. and if your are going to have toast in your title, you better rock some damn toast. I felt so ripped-$15 for TOAST and coffee? I didnt even get anything that complicated. Save your $$ on the toasts and try the coffee or another menu item....
They have good coffee but it always smells so strongly of a sewer in that piece.
The service was friendly and observant. The bill was good for how much you get. Makes me feel like I in Nashville again.
Ok food. Place is smelly. However, it could be a good place to work.
Such a chill coffee shop and restaurant! We came here Sunday for brunch and the line was out to the door but moved pretty quickly. We got the eggs in jail and french toast. The eggs in jail were delicious!! The french toast was less impressive but still ok. Mimosa for $4 was a good pour! We went upstairs and found some spots so if it looks like there are no seats left on the first floor, check upstairs. Lots of parking outside. Definitely recommend!
Great little coffee shop! So much better than a Starbucks location. Great staff!
Loved it!!!! First place we tried on our trip here. I was impressed by the atmosphere, food and drink, and the service!!!! Everyone was so nice. Loved the iced latte. I’d definitely come again.
Love supporting local and small businessess especially after the eye opening time during COVID. However, I was super impressed with the service or the coffee (which tasted burnt) also in the time and age of progress I felt their response to critical criticism was kinda gross. Def a trendy little spot but if thats your digs plenty other trendy spots downtown.
Love this coffee place in the neighborhood! Great coffee and food! Can’t wait to come back!
Nice atmosphere. 35 minutes between ordering at the counter and food arriving at table.
Great place! Had breakfast with a friend here a few days ago! Highly recommended!
Fantastic coffee, wonderful atmosphere and quality service. Great experience!
Decided to visit because the owner is claiming bad reviews are being left by “leftist cancel culture” (lol). Non attentive staff and pretty bland food. I think that’s why the reviews are so bad. Heads up, owner’s also making friends and employees leave fake positive reviews now.
Been here twice. The food is good, but pricey the things that bothered me though:The place smells bad, like a bar bathroom. And The to-go boxes are too close to the floor. That screams dirty to me.
I came here for my birthday with some friends and it was amazing! The staff was so helpful in customizing the perfect menu for my event, and Patrick was so so helpful and kind during the party! He went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time!! The food was amazing!!
The owner is extremely rude. He is attempting to get people to leave false positive reviews and has created fake accounts to leave positive reviews for this company. Stay away from this business.
Atmosphere is amazing. Great place to study & eat.
Great place for coffee and a bite. Bring your laptop or favorite book and dive in! Props to the manager, JC. Super cool guy. :]
I found Toasted thru a pal of mine and instantly became a fan. The vibe is chill and the food and coffee are perfect. I don’t have a dog, but I don’t need one cuz lots of great mutts show up and let me pet em - except Mabel - she’s a biter. So if you hit the location at the bottom of Greenville on a Sunday AM, I’ll likely be there drinking coffee, eating a Bad Boy (with bacon, because bacon) hanging with my girl, and petting dogs. Except Mabel.
Food is good! Price is high, but probably due to location. Coffee tastes burnt, but I ordered decaf so maybe that is why. Con for the general cleanliness of the dining areas.
Definitely a great spot for hangouts, informal business, and studying! Love the atmosphere.
The coffee is not good by any stretch of the imagination and the food is incredibly overpriced. Parking sucks too! The seating isnt very comfortable so working here is hard. Steer clear and find a better coffee shop. It wont be hard!
Stopped in more than a few times over a period of several months.want to to like this place, but its hard.good: lots of seating, open spacebad: espresso is not up to par, possible high employee turnover, drip isnt always fresh, sewer gas smell, sometimes smoky from bad kitchen ventilation, leaky roof inside when raining
Overpriced food and beverages. Toast is thick and dry with too little spread given. Really sad to see the quality go down so much
Not feeling it. My basic overpriced omelet was way too salty, no flavor other than salt. Paid $2.50 for 4 tiny slices of BROWN, hard, avocado. Definitely going somewhere else in the area next time.
This is the best place in Dallas to get some healthy items anywhere from smoothie to healthy meals. All my clients are recommended to eat here and so should you! Tough Fitness loves Toasted CoffeeThis organization goes above and beyond to not only impact the community positively by having a phenomenal establishment with amazing coffee, food, smoothies and service. They also go out of there way to outreach to the community as well. Hands down my favorite place to brunch!
Always an awesome venue. I simply am a food delivery driver so am not able to comment on the food only the environment and character of staff. 2 thumbs up!
Excellent coffee, excellent service! Great to support a local business.
I’m not usually a Karen, and I do like my steak Medium rare to Medium, but this time my steak was just straight up raw.I am a fan of the steakin me dish, but this time it was a miss. I don’t get why they don’t ask for temp of the steak. I’m not sure I’ll be back, or If I do I’ll just tell them to cook it medium-well so I don’t get a super tough raw steak.
Tried this place after a hair cut. Owner was horrible to mask wearers. He also harasses people who leave negative reviews then lies and blames it on a disgruntled former employee. He has been asking his friends to go and leave positive reviews to combat the negative ones. He’s also leaving reviews of his own restaurant and asking Facebook groups to leave positive reviews which is highly against Google’s TOS. Report reviews left under his name for conflict of interest.
A bit expensive? CheckSuper trendy? CheckTerrible parking? DOUBLE CHECKBest toast dishes I’ve ever had? Hell yesSome of the best artisan toast I’ve ever had makes me come back over and over again. I absolutely love the Mozza Mia and tend to get it every time. The upstairs area also has a nice quiet vibe to get work done
Coffee was just okay, and to be honest the way they’ve conducted themselves on social media when a customer was simply giving feedback is unprofessional and I will not be back after seeing that. As a customer you should be able to bring up concerns regarding a business without the business attacking them and sending hostile messages on social media
Super rude staff on our last visit. Food came out cold and was a bit overpriced for that kind of service. Then tried to leave a Yelp review and was told reviews are disabled. Seems sketch
The foods mediocre at best yet the price points pretty high. Im sure yall have heard of the debacle that Toasted got themselves into by being needlessly hostile towards an honest reviewer. Nevermind that fiasco, this place needs some serious improvements both in quality and attitude.
Beautiful women! LOL
I always look forward to visiting. Check out the soup of the day. I recommend the steak and eggs, too. Toasted does both really well and for the price. For those concerned: Theres lots of space enabling distanced seating and the staff are masked consistently.
Only place I’ll go to in Dallas. Totally worth it. Fairly priced and great breakfast!
Mediocre food and coffee. Owner harasses customers who leave negative feedback. Will not return.UPDATE: Owner blames repercussions of his behavior on cancel culture and is having people in Facebook groups come and leave positive reviews. Also asking Instagram people to go back and leave reviews.
Hello Fellow Reviewers,I’m in search of the best London Fog in Dallas, and why not try my local coffee shop?Toasted has a very fun interior and inviting feel. When I went the first time, I ordered an iced London Fog (always a good order to see how good of a barista they are). The gentleman at the counter said all the right things - Of course he could make it iced. Did I want honey? Vanilla or lavender? Soy? No problem. It was perfect. If I were reviewing that experience alone, it would be 5 stars. The second time I visited, however, brings the score down to 4. I went in the evening, hoping for a little caffeine spike to get me through the last part of my day. When I asked for an iced London Fog, the barista said he couldn’t make it iced and then proceeded to explain to me which teas could be iced and which were only hot. I decided to just go with a hot London Fog to make things easier. It was fine. Tasted like a London Fog, but just not the London Fog I wanted.Worth the trip, but I would suggest visiting earlier in the day rather than later.
I have tried so hard to like this place but leave disappointed by the food, the service or both. Coffee is passable but nothing to write home about.
I love this coffee shop!! It’s a vibe, I’ve actually never encountered a problem in this coffee shop ever. I come here a lot to run calls because I run an online based business. So sometimes I need a change a scenery & good vibes!! This is THE SPOT ☕️💙
Wonderful place, great service, high quality. Highly recommend!!
