Union is my favorite coffee shop in Dallas by far. It’s been my study spot since 2019, offering great seating inside and outside. Their drinks are great, my favorite is the Sweater Weather hot, but they have great food from local vendors as well. They also provide wonderful programming that raises voices of historically and currently oppressed folks in the Dallas area through events like Naked Stage and their worship services, sharing their stories that are often forgotten or ignored in the Dallas community narrative.

Coffee is crazy good! Chill environment, whether seated inside or outside. Looks like they have performances at times, theres a setup outside. Theres also a meeting room that can be booked inside. Only issue for me was some annoying mosquitoes, but hey they gotta eat too!

Super cute environment! I come to get their iced mocha and I use their upstairs area to study for school- great staff and good coffee! Tons of space upstairs, downstairs and their outside areas!

TL;DR: get the tacos, sit outsideWow! What a pleasant gem to discover! By and far the best outdoor space of any coffee shop in Dallas Ive seen. Espresso is an Onyx South American blend, so a bit darker than I usually prefer for an unflavored latte, but I imagine itd hold up well to syrups. The taco was delicious, with a salsa so fresh I took the second one home for later. Beautiful beautiful trees over the outdoor space, which is grassy, spacious, and dotted with picnic tables. Adorable interior, shady exterior, good coffee and food. On my permanent list now!

All you could ask for in a coffee shop! The open outdoor seating gives you your own personal space to work or even take a cal. The little known secret of this place are the rooms you can reserve upstairs. Well decorated and the coffee hit the spot. People love to use the to go window to place an order.

Good coffee drinks, relaxed vibe with multiple spaces inside and out for talking, meeting, or working. Tasty wildberry lemonade for non-coffee drinkers.

Plenty of parking and conveniently located right off Oak Lawn and Cedar Springs. Theyve got a great sense of community here. They even have meeting rooms available for rent!

Realy nice hidden coffe place

The coffee is pretty similar to every other shop. The servers seemed to wish they were anywhere but there. No smiles or communication. I did enjoy the outdoor area and the trendy atmosphere.

The tea I got was pretty good. I enjoyed the environment with the outdoor seating. Definitely recommend if in the are!

Where to begin?! One of the best coffee shops on Cedar Springs Road. They accept everyone and always welcome new people as they are like family. Every cup of coffee is simply delicious! Each season they have something new and fun up for the holidays for a new coffee twist. But if you like a classic coffee?! Try the Cold Brew I promise you it won’t disappoint you.

Wow! I cant believe this place has been right up the block. It has a vibe for sure, and is friendly and modern. This is an ideal place to stay for awhile. I am enjoying my first time and was told they are having a reading which tonight is going to be people talking about Valentines day.There is free WiFi and clean restrooms. Tons of outlets. Outdoor space. It hard to mix home and work, but they did it. Oh did I mention delicious coffee! Interesting snacks like various popcorn I will need to try later. Definitely a place to explore by yourself and/or with friends.

Whether you’re looking for a place to schedule a meeting in a reservable conference room, study, read a good book, or meet up with friends Union has the facilities to accommodation. Moreover, they provide facilities for a variety of community events and programs, including my personal favorite, Capes4Kids where a section of the coffee shop is dedicated to building teddy bears for kids in children’s hospitals. The staff here are exceedingly friendly and the drinks are great. Come for the coffee, stay for the community!

I love this coffee place, the garden is absolutely amazing. There is so much shade and breeze and such open space, this has now become my favorite coffee shop in Dallas. Their coffee is great and the staffs are super friendly.

I am LOVING the new location! I frequented the Dyer location and was sad to lose my study spot... But Im so glad to see their business and mission thrive in its new home.Of course, I forgot to take a pic of my DELISH coffee. Barista Emily was so sweet - asked my name when I ordered and asked Would you like to try that with nutmeg? I never would have thought to do that and it was SOOO good!!! 😍👌🏼 New favorite.The only bummer is that the food selection is limited to pastries. 😩 Their sandwiches were so good!!

Modern, trendy coffee shop in Dallas. High top bar with slow brews and espresso. A mix of sofa, lounges and hard tables make this cafe comfy. We ordered a Chemex pour over. They had an Ethiopian selection which was very fruity, but still bold. For pastries there was an assortment of scones and fancy pop tarts. Prices are a bit high, $7 for the pop tart, but the barista said they buy them from a bakery so that’s why it’s pricier than other places. There is also a second floor with a meeting room and a calmer atmosphere without music to work or study. PS .... doughnuts are from Krispy Kreme, there were kind enough to let us bring them in

Loved the vibe here. Very clean, white, and natural lighting. They have a second floor that looks great for studying. Also have study rooms with whiteboards. The winter drinks were also delicious!

Union is one of the unique coffee shops in dallas area. Friendly staff and a Casual atmosphere with conference rooms, study areas, white boards, group study corners, etc. you can get a 8oz union cappuccino with 1 espresso shot too (not in the menu. Ask at the counter)

Absolutely love this place. Since I moved to this part of Dallas, Ive been going to Union at least once a week. The lawn is a great place to do work while enjoying the sun on nice days. The cold brew and teas are strong (and delicious), and slightly less expensive than the chain coffee shop down the road. Their rewards program gives you any drink free after 10 visits, and portions of their proceeds go to local causes. I recommend that any locals or Dallas visitors go to Union, you wont regret it.

Probably my 7th visit to the shop today. Love the new addition to the neighborhood. Great place to meet friends, do some work, enjoy the patio, drinks lots of coffee and maybe some peach blossom tea. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. I’ve asked for recommendations on drinks and every staff has suggested something different and new to me. Kudos to Emily for my quad latte special, Cade for offering me my first lavender latte and Jeremy for timing making my latte under his goal of 1 minute. Can’t wait for cooler weather to enjoy the patio and window ordering.Pro Tip: parking is plentiful behind the shop in the church parking lot.

I have been coming to the Union since I moved here in 2018. This coffee shop has a beautiful setting from the inside to the outside. The staff are not only professional, but they have always been so welcoming to me and my boyfriend when we come to grab our coffees. Its not just about business! Its about developing relationships with those who work so hard day by day. Ive had instances where I would come almost everyday for their amazing coffee. I order the same thing everytime and they perfect the drink everytime! Theres an amazing, welcoming energy at this coffee shop, and the staff are phenomenal!!! This is one of my favorite coffee spots in the state of Texas. They are such friendly people, they provide a great variety of drinks, and before COVID the inside seating is spacious with homey hints. They have adjusted well to COVID. Their outdoor seating is spaced well and the yard is so vast! Some people bring their pets, which is additionally nice. They know my boyfriends drink real well and are even kind enough to make it off season. They do have events here. We’ve come to them before and it’s relaxing. Sit down, relax, and study/chill. This place is your friendly neighborhood coffee shop.~Bonus: they are very inclusive~

This coffee shop is amazing! The drip coffee is always good, or try something new with the ever-rotating selection of pourovers. Theres plenty of indoor and outdoor seating (including a dog park), plus (most important) plenty of parking. One of my favorite coffee places in Dallas.

Exceptional coffee at a great price and the wait is usually never long. You can tell the baristas enjoy their work and that adds to the quality of their products.

First time coming here, I ordered and iced chai tea latte, and it is literally the best chai latte I’ve ever tried. The girl at the counter was super friendly and patient while I was deciding on what I wanted. The atmosphere of the place is very relaxing, and there is even a fenced in yard area to relax with your pups! Super cute, and I will definitely be coming back for more!!

Gem of a coffee shop right in Oak Lawn. Its located on the southwest side of Oak Lawn & Cedar Springs. It is housed in a building behind the Oak Lawn Methodist Church. The building is two stories and inside it is very minimal/modern in design with glass and metal. Very light and bright. There is an upstairs as well which is quieter and gets less traffic than the first floor. There is also a glass walled room at the end on first floor that can be reserved. It has a table and monitor mounted on the wall and probably seats 8 people. I had a drip coffee which was fine and a fruit tea which was excellent. Staff is friendly and attentive. Most people seemed to be alone and there were a few pairs. Free Wifi. Some parking on the side of building.

I personally know several people who work here and theyre always very friendly. As far as drinks go, I recommend the Matcha Mint, either hot or iced. Yummy!

Go to place for coffee and to get some work done in Dallas

This coffee house could literally stop selling coffee and still be 100% worth the visit. The general vibe of the place is as uplifting as that first sip of coffee Im sure we all cherish so much. This is the kind of place you come to for the coffee, but leave with so much more. The staff is warm, its wonderfully aesthetic with no shortage of natural light and they have multiple areas you can reserve that would brighten up any mundane staff meeting! I feel like Im back in Copenhagen!

I wont take off stars because of Quality of service and the drinks are really great, but I just watched the manager kick a guy out who was down on his luck, maybe homeless, he wasnt dirty beyond a reason, and said so other customers could use the table even though there were no other customers and other replaced to sit with the large yard and picnic tables. As far as I know that guy hadnt done anything wrong he had come in after me and sat quietly maybe laughing loudly every once in a while at his phone. It just irks me that a place called Union cant see the picture of being United regardless of any barrier whether it be social, financial, physical, mental or otherwise. If your trying to be unified you dont just throw a person away while they are enjoying themselves, even if they are just drinking water, they are a person enjoying the environment your providing them to feel comfortable. All I ask is that if your claim is your Namesake, you might ease up your heart a little and try to figure out how hard some people might have it, especially during a pandemic, the black plague was also a pandemic, so think about how hard life might be out in the streets. Really that manager should go and take the other guys situation for a few days and see how hard it is. I know because I used to be there. Unify, not Defy People thats all I ask.

There is no better coffee house for hanging out in all of Dallas. They have a beautiful porch, green space, private rooms and some really great coffee! I have found my new favorite spot to just relax or to work when I want to take my team out of the office.

Really love the atmosphere of this place! The chairs are all comfy, lots of lighting, open space. The big downside is that they have the AC cranked sooo high! Both me and my roommate have tried to work here but can’t stay more than 1 hr cause it is so cold inside.Big bummer cause I loved everything else about this place.
