Amazing and creative treats! Staff was friendly.
So after trying the cronut in New York I was obsessed, when I got back home I checked to see if I could find cronuts un dallas and I came across this place. I ordered 3 cronuts (Nutella and strawberries, raspberry jelly and lemon jelly) and a funnel cake donut (Nutella and strawberries). They were not like the one I had before but they were still very good! I will def be back for more.
Always fresh donuts. Gourmet donuts. Lots of variety
I placed an order through the grubhub app, 2 of the drivers had to cancel the order because the restaurant wants them to wait in a long line even though my order was ready! I had to wait more than an hour for it to finally arrive. I think this restaurant should have a pick up line separated from the place order line.
The first time I came here I honestly wasn’t a fan. It’s been about 2 years. I don’t know what’s changed but the strawberry cream cheese donut is one of the best donuts I’ve tried in ages. Only reason it’s not a 5 is because the specialty donuts are kinda pricey and I wasn’t too impressed with the plain glaze, my normal go to. The strawberry cream was fresh, light, and prefect. The little custard thing was great. Will be back soon.
Wow! I’ve been wanting to get my hands on cronuts for a long time and they didn’t disappoint. I tasted the cream cheese and strawberry and raspberry topped cronut donuts; it had the best texture and taste I’ve ever tried in a donut! Also, with toppings they were incredible not too sweet not to tart and definitely didn’t taste artificial. I seriously cannot wait to go back and try new flavors. I also got the cinnamon roll and the maple bacon donut and they were meh. My new go to donut place! The cinnamon roll was in a bag didn’t take a picture.
We arrived at 11, 4 hours after they opened. Understandably, the stock didnt have all the donuts we were interested in, but what they had (its a little pricier for the more specialized donuts) tasted very good. The staff was very nice and even offered to warm up our kolaches for us! The classical music background was very cool as well.
Jarams donuts is a fantastic spot. Great specialty donuts and solid basics like glazed donuts and kolaches. A little bit pricey but the donuts are well done so its worth it. If you JUST want glazed, Id probably go somewhere else, because their glazed are solid but not top tier. But if you want anything else its worth going here.
The place is clean well decorated. The staff is friendly and helpful. The donuts are good.
More variety of donuts than kolaches.
Such a great hole in the wall donut shop. Has so many delicious options of donuts and oth delicious items. Personally love their wrapped sausage and raspberry stuffed donut holes. Go try them, you wont regret it
Favorite donut ever!!! Maple bacon cronut is AMAZING!!! The bacon has caramelized sugar on top. The berry with cream was almost its equal. We visited multiple highly rated doughnut shops during our 3 day adventures in Dallas. This place was the best by a lot. Dont let the outside of this run down shopping strip keep you away. Its clean inside. The classic music they were playing in the background was a little strange, but did not deter us in the least. The counter help was super friendly.
Best fun donuts in town.
The most creative donuts I have ever seen and tasted just great.
Freshly made donuts and sweets. My company provides breakfast from here frequently on Fridays and I’ve met had a kolache from Jarams that I didn’t like. If the stream of people coming in and out doesn’t make you curious, then take my advice and try it.
Amazing donuts! We love both locations. They just opened one up in Lakewood. They do seasonal donuts and they also have catering. Follow them on IG to see their seasonal donuts and cronuts! I highly recommend them for private events such as bridal showers, weddings, baby showers etc. Best donuts in the city and the owner are so sweet and amazing people. Support this family owned donut shop!My sister came to visit from Houston and I brought her here for Easter donuts and my all time favorite the creme brulee donut! She absolutely loved it! I highly recommend their creme brulee donuts and kolaches!Parking at Lakewood location can be difficult on weekends.
Great donuts and tasty kolaches. Def a bit pricy on the fancy donuts, but to be fair, its one of the only donut shops in the area that has specialty donuts, so thats their prerogative. Theyre also open a bit later (close at 1pm) so when youre lazy like me and realize you have a craving for kolaches at 12:30 on a Saturday, youre not gonna be SOL. Try the berries and cream cheese donut and the croissant kolaches- pretty good!
I LOVE their doughnuts! They have the tastiest, most unique doughnuts. The ladies that bake and run the store are very kind as well.
Never had the donuts B4 but they always look and smell yummy
Jarams Donuts is the best donut shop Ive ever been too. They have amazing artisan donuts, examples Ferrero Rocha Donut, Reeses Donuts, Creme Brulee,. Nutella & Strawberry and many others! I highly recommend going here and checking it out. You can also ask for cream filling in almost any donut. Youll never go to another Donut Shop!
I just visited Jarams for the first time, and I absolutely fell in love with the presentation of their donuts before I even tasted it. I got the Nutella strawberry funnel donut and it melted in mouth with every bite. I loved it so much, I stopped again the next day to try our the cream cheese strawberry donut and I loved that one too.
This place makes excellent donuts. They are beautifully decorated and taste even better! The staff is friendly and is a small business. I recommend the cream brulee and banana pudding donuts.
Why I have to wait 15 for sought and wearing a mask? Governor declared its safe no to use it besides wearinga mask is not a guarantee either
My absolute favorite donut shop! The donuts are delicious with so many different and unique flavors. They really take pride in the quality of the ingredients as well as the artistry of their donuts. Around holidays or special events, youll find the donuts decorated with themes such as Star Wars or Valentines. My favorite are the peanut butter and jelly croissant donuts and strawberry Nutella croissant donuts. You are missing out if you havent tried Jarams!
Everytime I go I get a sugar rush even when looking at the menu I love this place!
Unique donuts, pricey but worth it.
Love their donuts!
The best place for dounuts in DFW. Very nice staff and I love their classical music. The reason and only reason for only 1 star is the music is far too loud. It is just at an unbelievable level for such a small shop.
I ordered letter donuts online a few days in advance, and when I picked them up the order was not right. I told them this, and they said it would take about 10 minutes to fix. It ended up taking 30 minutes, and this was the result. The icing was sloppy, some of the donuts were broken, and overall they just looked like a mess. The employee working gave me 2 extra donuts as an apology, but I still don’t feel like I got what I paid for.
I wish I can give you less than ZERO starsBecause you are so rude and not professional at allI dont recommend you going there .
Visited this place to try the cronuts. Saw a ad somewhere advertising them or a commercial, so I did a google search to find what I was looking for. Very nice variety of options. Cronuts are way more sweet than donuts. Wish they had a mini version. Will have to return for some of the breakfast items. The kolache items I tried were just ok.
Best donuts around, I like the maple bacon.
Always has the most incredible donuts!
Cronuts are good most of the time. Apple fritter was dissapointing this time around. Tasted like old oil and was soggy.Find it odd Jarams doesnt provide prices for each donut online or inside the store. Some customer dont want to ask for the price each time. Be upfront with your customers.Customers are in for a not so sweet surprise when they hear their total at the register after picking out a bunch of unpriced & overpriced donuts. Why not post prices inside the store & online to make it clear for customers? Also give the customer their reciept at the end of the transaction.
My daughter loves these 🍩
The donuts are fresh and taste soo good. Plus the variety is awesome from classics to artisan topped. Kolaches are great too!
Best donuts ever
Spent way too much money and loved it
They do not enforce the must wear a mask policy. So go at your own risk.
They are always extremely nice and I always find what I am looking for.
The kids wanted donuts after seeing pickle donuts online. Not that anyone wanted that... but it put them in the mood for donuts so I searched for some out of the box donuts without the hype. I’ll confess, I didn’t eat any but the flavors were different and the kids said they were the best they’ve ever had!
Delicious gourmet donuts and kolaches! They do letter donuts, I had some made for a bridal shower, it was super cute. Their cronuts are also so good.
Way over-the-top creations, unbelievable, rich and delectable. Unmatched in their selections. .keep up the great work. We always enjoy. God bless
Super polite staff, the donuts were excellent!
The staff is so friendly! And courteous! While the interior is certainly small, it is nothing if not cozy. Full of bright colors on the walls and various appliances. And everything is so clean! A very tidy utilization of space and cleverness. Lastly, the donuts are brightly displayed and beautifully crafted.
When I first tried their glaze, I told my dad instantly Buy me more. I like donut, but not a heavy eater. My 7 yrs old brother and I finished a dozen. Little pricy, but they got something good taste other shops donuts dont have. Try one and compare. Thanks.
You will not be disappointed in the menu and service. staff treated us so kindly. they have so many good reviews for a reason.
The best donuts in Dallas, hands down. Great flavor and lots of variety, including novelty designs and flavors you cant find anywhere else.
Great donut shop with very creative offerings! The cronuts (especially the strawberry Nutella) are awesome! Definitely not your typical donut shop, and its certainly worth checking out.
They taste as good as they are pretty and boy are they pretty.
Placed a very large order online, paid online, and picked a specific pick up time so my order would be ready. They still make you wait in their 30-45 minute line out the door because they want it to be “equal opportunity”. No separate pick up line for online orders that they already have ready and sitting on the counter. I ordered online so my order would be ready, not so I still had to wait 30-45 minutes. Will not be coming here again.
One of the best, if not the best donut shops in Dallas. Incredibly delicious specialty donuts, often themed to the season. The donuts with fruit on top are incredibly tasty, I believe they have a cream cheese frosting. Kolaches and sausage rolls are solid, but you come here for the donuts. Always busy, but always a quick in and out. If in the area, and you want donuts, this is the place.
You havent lived until youve had a Jarams croissant donut. Flaky and delicious and HUGE. Well worth the price. Staff is very friendly and the place is so cute inside. Looks like a regular mom and pop shop but its definitely more than meets the eye.
Nice place very organized
Service is always awesome even when they have a full house. There was quick, helpful, and friendly service. Feels like a place in Los Angeles I loved.
100% amazing. Best donut shop Ive ever been to. Amazing croissant donuts. I live in Little Rock and I cant not come here every time I come to Dallas.
Amazing specialty donuts. A quiet, suburban, unassuming donut shop on the outside. But be prepared to come back nevertheless weekend when you are powerless against the maple bacon donut. Or the Reese’s. Or the creme brûlée donut.
One of my familys favorite breakfast stops on special days and any other day of the week. Theres always something unique that leaves you in awe, excited and salivating. Definitely a Dallas Must Have.
Excellent donuts, fantastic cronuts. Unique flavors
Got 7 donuts and each one was delicious!
I will say they look better than they taste. A lot of flare but thats it. Ive had the original cronuts and they are amazing. This doesnt compare or come close. I will say the cream brule filling was good I just wished there was more. I also wished the fruit were dressed because they were out of season so they werent sweet. But please understand this is my opinion. They make a good Instagram photo but Im more about taste than show
Great local donut shop. The quality is high, and the variety of goods they offer is growing over time.
The smores donut they have is very delicious. Also, their holiday themed donuts (in this case the Halloween donuts) ate cute. Otherwise, its a donut shop, go in and get donuts.
Best donuts anywhere, downgraded one star because just so way overpriced. Should not cost almost $30 for just 6 donuts.
Great donuts- do not taste greasy. You can see the care they take in making each donut too.
Has my top 2 donuts in DFW: 1.CREME brulee donut 2.Maple Bacon Cronut. Also best kolaches. My girl loves their banana donut but bananas are disgusting.
Excellent donuts and nice workers. They have this amazing addictive sausage cheese patty. Their cronuts are heavenly... sometimes too sweet, I take off the top and bottom layer of the glazed cronut to make it perfect. Their strawberry cream cheese donut is amazing too. Only negative is that their plain glaze donut is not as good as some others like hypnotic or Vail donuts... everything else is so good and nice service that its a 5 star place.
Great place to meet and catch up with friends. service is consistently great. the place has an awesome atmosphere.
First time there, donuts were good but really could not find any regular donuts, they only had the fancy ones out. Plus those fancy donuts are way too expensive. 2 of the funnel cake donuts a kolache and 4 donut holes was almost 14.00 bucks. May not be back there again.
Amazing donuts and kolaches. They also have fun kids donuts with cartoon characters. My son loves this place and we are repeat customers. 4 out of 5 only because there is limited seating.
Very dry donuts.. they look shiney and pretty but they taste awful even the regular glazed donuts. Very dissatisfied
I wish it was open more often! The donuts here are great and fresh
Why oh why would an artisan donut shop only have powdered creamer for coffee? Half and half, please!! I cant enjoy my donut and coffee, its just silly.
I moved from Western MA where they have the greatest cake donuts ever--the apple cider donut. I have been driving all around the Richardson/Plano area trying to find the best cake donut. Its easy to make a fancy raised donut with lots of candy. Its hard to make a good simple sugared cake donut. Jarams cake donuts are the best Ive tasted outside of MA. The new croissant-donuts are pretty good too.
Apparently still the only shop (that I know towards East Plano) that offers the craze-worth and binge-worthy cro-nuts but honestly I would like to go back to the fundamentals - basic glazed donut with the occasional mixed variety tossed in the box of dozen. The staff are very patient with newbies like myself and that is a blessing for us customers who do not follow the latest fads. The reason for the middle of the road rating is that I would not go out of my way to visit this shop for its products.
Great location to chill, eat some good food. looking forward to a return trip. this place has many great reviews for a reason.
Great selection of artisan donuts! Pricey but definitely worth it! Maple Bacon Donut is best donut I’ve ever had!
The BEST custom and specialty donuts. They go out of their way to show that a donut is artistry.
