We are building a house we hired what we thought where professionals, we where Wong whats worse is we paid upfront for the discount. (not a smart thing to do!)first we did not know they did not come out to measure the job, the door is a three panel door the ceiling is 8 foot tall, when i called another company I was informed that because its three panel it need a minimum of 18 inch clearance to the ceiling also the door was three inches short for the opening.We added two 1x6 boards to fix the width but the door does not close flat,the other company is trying to find a smaller panel for the bottom that matches the door so it will close.second we ordered a garage door opener and now it will not fit, once again if they came out to measure we would have known this then tried to charge me an additional $500 to install a side mount.claiming it was tax and install fees which were paid for in the initial billWhen I contacted Justin Samuels he informed me this was in their acceptability limits.

Professional from the initial phone call. Made it out same day, which was quite helpful. The garage door works great now, very easy to lift.We didnt want to attempt to adjust the spring ourselves. ..let the Professionals handle it.Text communication before and after visit, let me know when they would arrive and actually provided a 1 hour window rather than an all day wait. Definitely would use this company again.

We had some drywall repair work from the winter storm, and the drywall guys messed up the re-install of the motor and rails. It cracked the door and everything was out of whack. Well done Casey! Garage door was damaged preventing it from opening. I called OGD thinking I needed a new door. The technician, Joey, arrived shortly and told me the door could be repaired. I was very pleased with the response and the repair time. Joey was polite and courteous.

They were able to send someone the next day to repair our door. The technician was prompt and completed the work as promised. He ensure that I understood the work to be done and the complete cost before hand. It’s the only company we’ve ever used for repairs, and in fact, they initially installed the doors 20 years ago.

Well I had a chain driven garage door that service tech said it would be about 80.00 to fix and that I should fix the chain driven garage door opener because they were the best . Said he ordered parts to fix, about 7 to 9 days later a tech came to fix and just took one look up at the garage door opener and said nope want fix needs to be replaced so for roughly 450.00 I got a new belt driven opener that the sensors keep messing up and will not let door close and my rails will catch door and stop it as well .So called them out again and told service tech to replace all the door the rails the hardware, was quoted 2200.00 dollars and assured my door would be installed in no more than 5 weeks .We picked a color that was a common color with his card samples and which is a common color on their web site as well the grey, well it has been 8 weeks now and no door .I have called three times in last four weeks asking to speak to service manager are someone in charge, lady answering phone refused to let me talk to any management at the company and has told me they would call me back never happened, no call back at all. Today I called and when I asked told same thing, then just got off phone with them and the woman answering said they where behind in calling cause phones where down for an hour, so I asked what about the last three weeks I was suppose to get a call back and basically it was laughed off, so I asked if they had a corporate office and she said she was corporate . So got no results from that call either . this morning I had trouble again with my censors and called them, they were going to charge me a service call on an ongoing issue with them so I refused service and asked to get my product the door installed and I was told for the third time my door is a special color and that was reason for delay but again its a common color and so common they have that color about 5 times in pictures on their web site and was again one of the three choices the tech gives us, not the special color catalog. so my husband got home and took a look at door the censors they put in they wired to the old wires which have probably been there for 20 plus years, they are ate up and weather routine if you will . so now I guess we got to go pay for new wire to install correctly the censors, so they will operate properly .Overhead Garage Door company has no concern about its consumer and will not call you back, and you are not allowed to talk to someone in charge that is simply a no no for even asking . After my door is finally in I will never use this company again and I will never recommend this company to anyone . Beware of paying up front they put you on back burner for as long as they can.

I needed service when spring on our garage door suddenly broke. Requested service on a Sunday around 8:30 am and received a text schedule between 10:00 - 12:00. He was here at 10 then analyzed door. I asked questions on possibly adding a spring since my door only had the one. He answered then gave me an estimate that I agreed upon and he got started. He was very nice and completed the door in the time as promised. He also adjusted the panel that was replaced by someone else with light showing through. Their service is on the high side that you can definitely find cheaper but they will come right away. Still a great job.

The company sold my parents a $100 garage door opener for $800.Terrible customer service and outright scam on prices. The one they installed doesnt even work right. I could hear the representative yelling at my mom from across the room over the phone when she called to ask them about what happened.Something to note: Only positive reviews here have comments if you have issues with the service they will not engage to help you out.

I had a wonderful experience with this company. My husband and I wanted to add a keypad to our garage door so that we could open the garage door without having to take the opener out of the car. Our technician, Nathan arrived on the scene right on time and took time to examine our set up. Our garage door opener was rather old (from 1996) so he recommended that we replace it. We decided to do that. Nathan installed the new opener, the keypad supplied us with 2 new openers, serviced all mechanisms and rewired the door opener as the wiring was run in a very unprofessional way. We are thrilled with the service and the care this technician showed for our property.Will be using these folks in the future for service. Great job!!

When my garage door came off it’s track one night about a week ago and I was not able to get it back on and had to leave the door half way down all night my wife was a little up set. We called OGD the next morning and they were set us up for between 12 and 2. At 11:30 their man was there. I told him I thought it was going to take 2 people to get it back on track. He looked at it and said I think I can do it. He said I have a plan. He said he has been doing this a long time. What I thought was going to take half a day, took him maybe an hour. I couldn’t believe it. He gave me a veterans discount and was on his way. Thank you for the good service

The tech was very knowledgeable and was on time. I have no problem with the tech. However, I think the cost was way too much. I am on a fixed income and expected about 1/2 of what was charged based on past experience. I will not recommend OGD to my friends and family.

Extremely professional. Kept me updated on technician’s arrival. Repair was done quickly. However, they are pricey. They charged $513 to replace the belt and lube the motor/door. Materials for that sell for about $80; service charge is $35. That means they charged us about $400 for labor, which was less than an hour. I like the company, just not their prices.

My garage door was repaired on 7/29, several hours after the tech left at 4:55pm it stopped working again and was stuck in the up/open position. I called the office prior to 5:00pm and was not offered an immediate solution, I was told I had to wait until the next morning. I asked for a manager to contact me. That has yet to happen.

We called OGD EARLY IN THE MORNING YESTERDAY and was immediately connected to the office manager that scheduled the apt for noon same day! The technician arrived right on time and within 15 minutes assessed our problem and gave me a price! We agreed and 30 minutes later our problem was solved! We. Wasn’t even apologetic about the lost month and a half of my time.So the email finally comes in and it’s not even what I asked them for. I said I wanted a single sectional door replaced with no windows. They send me an estimate for a sectional door with windows, and two other roll up door I didn’t even ask about, they work fine.Find another company that values your time.

He recommended a couple of other maintenance items, and offered discounts to make them affordable. In half an hour we had a garage door that was working like new.
