My first time here. A lot of the stuff in there is expired. And they’re still selling it. I wouldn’t have even given this place even one gold star . And the store is very hot inside. It’s like the AC doesn’t work.

I absolutely love this store. Im upset that it is closed at this time because being on a disability fixed income I was able to buy groceries with a small budget. My pantry was always stocked, I would shop at least 2 to 3 times a week. Name brand products at super low prices was a god send. I hope they reopen soon.

Good deals but it would be sensational if items with a best buy date of 02-2020 were marked down further. Would it be better to sell them for something rather then let the food rot? Something is better then nothing. Plus they would have room for more products. Just because its legal to sell an item past the best by date doesnt make it right.

A nice grocery clearance store that is worth the trip if you are looking for bargains on fruits, vegetables, snacks and some boxed meals. The clearance store has a friendly staff and theres a good variety when I visit. The store parking lot could use some repairs however.

I love this little gem of a store! They have an everchanging variety of high quality items at great prices. Its like a treasure hunt. I got everything pictured for about $27. The owner personally takes the time to thank his customers for coming, and I cant say Ive ever experienced that at many other stores. Very polite and helpful employees and clean store given how much product they have.Did a quick rough comparison to Kroger prices, and this would have come out to around $60.

There were a lot of items I found that were cheaper than buying them at other grocery chains.I. On a renal diet so I was able to find foods I can have on my diet.So I am very happy about that.

Were regulars here, they have the best prices in the front freezer for produce, dart, meats etc. Gary the owner is so nice and really values being part of this community.

Ive been coming to this store for about 4 years, I used to drive almost 30 miles to get here and it the savings I got on my groceries were much more than I spent in gas. They often have many vegan, organic and gluten free foods. Yes some things are past the sell by date, but keep in mind that those dates are made to protect the distributor not the consumer. Many foods last much longer than their printed date. I love how we can curb food waste by shopping here. Gary and all his staff are always friendly. He takes time to walk around and talk to shoppers and thank them for coming. I prefer this store to all of the big name stores, I tell all of my friends and family to shop here and Ill be shopping here myself as long as I can.

Awesome store! Not only are prices great but they have tons of name brand hidden gems. There is a good variety of produce and it is always fresh. Overall a great place to stock the pantry and shop for the week!

Love this place! I have come over a dozen times (from north Dallas) and always leave happy. It’s a good place to stock up on rare high quality goods but don’t go in with a list.. you won’t find every single thing like a standard grocery. And don’t get too attached to the products, once it’s gone it’s gone, but makes room for something new!I always check the expiry date.. you can set your own threshold, mine is 6 months past is ok but some shelf stable foods can likely go longer.My biggest wish is that they keep a gluten free section and a vegan/plant based section for easier shopping, but if you have the time it’s fun to browse.My biggest praise is for the staff that work there. They are all respectful and helpful young men who are trained to be that way. I get the impression that the owner treats them well. Keep it up guys! Thank you for being a gem for the community!

If you are anywhere close to Duncanville and I recommend the GROCERY CLEARANCE CENTER. We got all this for $80 including 15lbs Chicken, lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, toiletpaper and 3 bags of beef jerky. Worth the 30 min drive for us!

This store is incredible! Everything is well-organized, theres an enormous selection, and the owner/staff are helpful and knowledgeable.I found several high-end items for all types of specialty diets such as gluten free, vegan, etc. The pricing is amazing and absolutely worth going out of your way if you want to find some pricier items/brands for cheap.This is a salvage store, so if you worry about Best By dates, youll need to take a closer look at some items. As the owner will explain, Best By and expiration dates are not always accurate and result in perfectly good products being thrown away at larger grocery stores. That being said, its possible to find something you may not personally trust or want to consume. Just make sure you double check anything you think is questionable, and I know the staff would be happy to know if you find something you think is harmful or unacceptable in a product.I will be back at least a couple times per month. The deals are too good to pass up and its awesome that they have rotating inventory that suits every diet. Do yourself a favor and add this place to your grocery routine.

Saw this pic on Ig and it reminded of how much I love Home Depot i ripped apart my home and put it back together using items I got from this place the workers Help undeniably good And give me methods to use when doing certain things me and my boyfriend love love love Home Depot they treat us like family and my boyfriend he has an uncle who works here and my boyfriends family isn’t the nicest to us but he is he’s super nice and he’s always there for us so is everyone at Home Depot anyone who ever needs help with constructing or building or anything in that matter Home Depot is your place!!

Some of the deals here were pretty good. The produce was as expected less than perfect. I do not recommend purchasing any dairy products here. Keep in mind, If you shop here you will find a lot of the items being sold are passed the best by date. This seemed to confuse at least one shopper that didnt seem to understand the concept of a clearance center. Remember You get what you pay for. The customer service was average but NOT bad.

Went looking for Amish soap but was told that they havent carried it for some time so I just got some other products all very good

Decent sized grocery store. Most items are 20-30% cheaper than Walmart. Produce is super cheap. Keep an eye on expiration dates. Some items (diapers, canned food, fruit snacks) are the same price or higher than Walmart. The owner Gary is very nice & helpful, and hes constantly updating Facebook & the website with deals of the week. Overall there are some great deals to be found. This is a place that I would stop at 1st before my usual stores on grocery shopping trips.***June 2017: not as cheap as it used to be. No more discount for buying things by-the-case. I used to be able to fill my cart with great deals, today I only purchased about 10 items 😕

This is the best location for low prices in Duncanville/South Dallas area. Canned and packaged food for the most part are good past expiration date so you can find very excellent deals. Staff are friendly and helpful

The GCC is awesome. Especially with so many people being out of work and needing to save money on groceries. You have to watch the freshness dates. But you get groceries for about half of what you can get them in the grocery store. The workers are friendly and the stores always clean and neat.

Your receipt doesnt tell you what you have purchased and I was overcharged. I suggest everyone keep track of what youve purchased, because the cashiers are just putting any kind of amount when checking you out. The mangos were supposed to be 4 for $1.00 and they charged me $1.00 for each freaking mango. 😡

This place has been around for years and has been reliable for years. Best items here: frozen meats/meals and vegetables and fruit in the cooler area. There are many other items, but the prices are hit and miss. Be careful about other items because some things are overpriced. Its clean. It doesnt smell. The shelves are always stocked with items as they are available. Note: Its ALWAYS cold in this place so be sure to wear something warm. Its cold during every season. When I say cold, I dont mean a bit nippy. I mean BRRRRRRRR cold. Happy shopping.

Me and my mom went here. Mainly for the fruits...this place is crazy! Good crazy! The prices are cheap! And the fruits and veggie prices were really cheap and the fruit and veggies are amazing. And the staff that works there is super super friendly! This is a must go place. And the guy who runs it is super friendly and made sure he came out and spoke to us. We will definitely be going back

This place is like a hidden little gem, awesome stuff for great prices. Ive been able to buy fruits for almost less than half the price of any regular supermarket. And its not bad quality. If youre buying can goods, snacks or anything packaged I would keep an eye on expiration dates. Ive bought frozen chicken nuggets that expired a month ago(which isnt bad because its frozen) but you can find expired items from a couple months back.

Excellent place to get large, fresh produce at discounted prices. Much cheaper and better quality than Walmart. Locally owned. I drive 45 minutes each way once a month to get my groceries here. I have a large family and there is no other way. Large selection of organic products. Love love!

This store is bursting with a lot of organic, vegan, and gluten free items! I most liked how cheap their fresh fruits, vegetables, and Dairy products were! Many unique items and a good sized frozen food section. I felt it was worth the 20 minute drive for me!

Highly recommend shopping there at least 3 times in a 10 day period to get an idea of stock and deals . The savings and quality are there, watch for dates . i have had 2 items out of 200 i didnt enjoy.

Good stuff. The staff was nice and the owner has a sense of humor. Start with the fresh produce cooler and meat/vegetable freezers if youre unsure. The kind of product available may differ but the quality is the same as a traditional grocer. I got what I needed for the week for $30 and the only thing that was expired was a tub of yogurt by a few days, which was fine when I opened and ate it.

Its a nice small convenient place. Its like a smaller version of Krogers. Everything is so much cheaper there as well. I recommend stopping by sometime

Good prices on fresh fruit and vegetables. Lots of frozen food, including cheap bulk packages. Surprisingly have quite a bit of organic and healthy options. Beware most food is near expiration dates, and some way past, so best to look at that.

I like this place. The people are so nice & helpful, he layout is great, and the deals are usually pretty darn good. Many times I needed to check expiration and Best By dates, though.

I should take off a star or two for the state of the parking lot or how far south it is, but the great deals on groceries and produce are worth it. Every time you visit, its a different shopping experience. They carry damaged or slightly past sell by date goods from high end grocery stores, and get new items daily. They also have a walk in fridge with fresh fruit and yogurt. Worth the drive!

I love this place! I switched to a plant based diet and buying dairy free products and fresh produce can get pricey. I can count on the grocery clearance center to provide me lots of options at a really low price and the products are top quality! I drive 30 miles to shop here once per week, it’s well worth the drive.

Its decent place but if you are a stickler for checking expiration dates this place will be a hard sell. Its in the middle of a food desert so I feel that the people who live in the area are being taken advantage of but it may be a God send for them. There was very little I found for purchase that wasnt well passed the expiration date in the dry goods section.However, I love going for the produce, some meats & and dairy items. For the last few weeks I was able to get fresh mustard greens 3 bunches for $1. I recommend following them on Facebook for the latest updates.

Our family has been frequenting this place for years. And for good reason. The prices on (almost) everything thing are great. And often you can find brands and items that are a bit exotic. Its affordable to try something new. The relatively new walk-in cooler is one of our favorite things. Fresh produce for cheap. The owner is super friendly, too.

What a great store for people who like to bargain shop. This was my first time and I had a wonderful time just exploring the many amazing discounted items. Picking up things I really didnt know I needed (I didnt but bought it any way). Finding items and calling my (daughter, mother, sister) and asking them if they wanted something I found ( they did!) Met the owner who looked me in the eye and asked me about my shopping experience. At the checkout, my groceries were rang up and bagged (I bought my own bag) by 2 of the most attentive young men. (Arnold Schwarzenegger voice) Ill be back!
