There were some miscommunication about how access storage doors were supposed to be built. I mentioned that I thought he was wrapping similar to a door frame. In haste and anger he said well I can just do this and literally and forcibly he ripped the current builder frame off the wall damaging my wall. He offered to paint it but there were three coats on the wall so now there is a ridge between the paint and and drywall and it will have to be mudded. We went ahead with the way he wanted to build it out but he didn’t even nail the frame back into the wall properly. It is bowed and not even attached properly. It pulls right when you open the door.Also the island is sloppy with a poor paint job, board poking out and his response was he didn’t bill for paint… well then he shouldn’t have offered it. Now I got to spend time and $100 bucks to fix everything and make it right myself. This guy will never be allowed on my property again.

Just wanted share our recent experience with Cowboy Jeff. We had a very specific design in mind for a new bar height table. We wanted a community table built with heavy, milled pine that would retain the saw blade marks after finishing. Cowboy offered some great ideas and wrapped the tables edge with a steel band that really completes the table. Well definitely use his skills in the future.

I hired cowboy builds to build me an outdoor bar and within 1 day it was coming apart! he used glue and staples to put it together. week later he came back and picked up the bar asking to build another bar to make it right. a month went by and he was finally supposed to deliver it on a Monday. well I never heard from him and on Wednesday I told him I just wanted my money back. he said he didnt have it right then ( keep in mind I already paid him in full). 2 weeks later he sent me $200 out of $1200. its been 2 months and I havent heard from him. Ive turned it over to my lawyer. Do not hire someone who cant afford to give refund back

Cowboy Jeff does some amazing and beautiful wood work. I am fortunate to work with him quite often and he has a great attitude and work ethic. The two 1 star reviews are clearly not about the same Jeff Packer. 5 Stars across the board for him and his team.

Talented, professional, creative and friendly. Cowboy Jeff custom-made some great looking board and batten shutters for my fixer-upper in East Point, GA. He stained them for a classic look and even installed them. Very happy I ran across his online ad. I highly recommend Cowboy Jeff for any custom-built piece. Will definitely use him again for another project.

I asked for a bar and I got one pronto and it looks great. Jeff and his fiance set up everythig nice and even added a nice touch to an existing high counter where the bar joins. Now I have 2 kegerators back there and a mini fridge. Its gonna be a party! I highly recommend Cowboy Builds, Inc. !

My wifes previous post has everything to do with Jeff Packers business practices. He has taken large amounts of money from us and others, doing business as Bear Claw Structures. There are numerous filings and judgements against him. Please save yourself the grief that we have experienced, and DO NOT HIRE HIM!The one star is only because I couldnt give him a negative.

Wonderful group of guys, always get the job done, I wouldnt have anyhodyelsea, did an amazing job with my man cave, all my friends are in love ! Wouldnt ask for anybody else, you have definitely earned a fan here !

Once we bought our second home this past September, we knew since the basement was finished we had to create the perfect bar for the Man Cave. After several searches I came across Cowboy builds thru Facebook and it only took a few pics my husband viewed and his ideas came to life. The pictures are beautiful but once it’s right in front of you it’s so amazingly raw, unique and stylish. Jeff and Chris did a professional job and worked deligently everyday until completion. Melvina added some nice touches too with the floating shelves and coasters. Cowboy builds was truly a rare find. So happy they made my husbands basement come to life. We will be using them for many more future home projects.
