I just wanted to say that one of the girls at the Dalton, GA location, Sarah Beth, did an awesome job decorating a cookie for one of my coworkers birthday today! He loved it and it meant a lot to him. 🙂

Prices are too high, you can just buy cookies at the store or bake them at home and come out so much cheaper with a higher quantity. I went here with my wife on Friday afternoon and the woman at the register took forever to even acknowledge us, despite the fact no one else was in line. The girl who took my order was extremely hateful and rude for no reason. She had a very bad attitude towards me, and glared at me as we were checking out. Not to mention, 2 cookies costed us 8 DOLLARS. I wont be coming back.

Great American Cookies are the yummiest and freshest cookies ever. Every time I go to the mall I always stop a get a cookie to go. The customer service is excellent too! They are so talented with the designs on the cookie cakes

Walnut square great American cookie Co is the only place I ever buy my sons birthday cookie. And valentines cookies They always do exactly what I need decorating and Im picky. The staff always greets me with a smile even when they are super busy which they usually are and there cookies are amazing!! 5 stars !!! 😊

GACC in Dalton has always been wonderful. Wendy and her staff are the best around. This is always our go to location for cookie cakes!With four kids we get cakes numerous times a year, for many years, and they are always perfectly decorated, kind to help us design exactly what we want, and very fresh.Definitely order!

Just had a terrible experience. Worst service ever. I love their cookies, but the service today was horrendous. I got there and they were ready to go home and putting cookies up, but they were still open. I asked for a M&M double doozie with chocolate icing and they said they had already out the cookies for that up. They were short with me giving me blank stares. I just wanted the cookie I wanted and to live my best life.Update:So evidently an employee blasted me specifically by name on Facebook because of this review. Trying to justify their behavior. I have worked in retail and I have worked in fast food. I know what it is like to want to go home and have a customer come in right before you close, but you still give the customer great service. You dont make the customer feel like theyre a burden. Customers are the life blood of any business.

This store is the best when it comes to them making my cookie cakes. Theyve made them fresh and delicious everytime and always go above and beyond.

So disappointed with my sons cookie cake. I understand not everyone is a skilled artist,but for $40 Its upsetting. And,it was such a thin THIN cookie the birthday candles wouldnt even stand up! I am IN LOVE with Great American Cookie. I’m not a huge fan of regular cakes, so I always get a cookie cake from here for my birthday. I’ve never been disappointed with a design, and this year’s design really takes the cake (pun fully intended). I’m a really big fan of horror and my birthday is right before Halloween, so I asked for a cake that said “Have A KILLER Birthday” along with a bloody knife. I couldn’t have asked for a better job! I uploaded a picture as well just to show the amazing work!

I had a custom order for my son’s birthday and it turned out better than I ever could have imagined! Beautifully decorated and so delicious. My son loved it! The staff members are very friendly and helpful. All around great experience. We have ordered a custom cake from this location before and it was just as good as this one. Will definitely use again and recommend to family and friends!

Our family has one for almost every occasion, theres no better way to celebrate than with GAC and with their skills they can match any theme your looking for several of my cakes theyve just went with the theme using no pictures and one of my favorites is a fall theme pumpkin patch cake for my baby shower for twins!

Very disappointed!I placed an order for a large round cookie cake. The order was placed several weeks in advance. My daughter wanted a Harry Potter themed cookie with an emphasis in the Slytherin house (green and black colors). When ordering, I showed a picture to give an example of what I was expecting. The girl informed me that it was no problem, and they do this type of design all of the time.I guess my disappointment was partly my fault due to the fact that I placed too much trust in them. I took their word on their level of expertise and assumed that the cookie would meet my expectations. My trusting nature led me to schedule pick up just 30 minutes before the birthday party. I went to pick up my order, and when I looked at the design, I was shocked. I wish I could upload a picture of the skilled decoration on the cake. The design looked like a big cluster f***, with little pictures and writing smooshed together. Almost half of the cookie was covered in a huge brown sorting hat that looked like a giant poop emoji. You could barely read the happy birthday words because of how crammed together everything was. WHAT HAPPENED TO my black and green Slytherin theme.The person I picked it up from could apparently tell how disappointed I was. She reluctantly asked if I wanted them to change anything. If I hadnt needed it right then for the party, I would never have paid for it. Lesson learned. $35 for that mess? Never again.

Love this place

I wasn’t able to get my cookie because I was sick. They called and ask if I wanted a refund and then called back to and was very rude to me for not getting my cookie. It’s been almost three weeks and I still haven’t gotten my money back. I doubt that I will ever use them again. I wish I could leave no star.
