I really like this place because they have everything you need for a boat any kind of marine supplies you can get it there. Its a little expensive but nine times out ten youll find what you need. its a great place for clothing fishing gear.kayaking all kinds of high quality top grade inventory.

Even though this is a small storefront, so although they likely have what you need, if not, there is no check in the back. While some products are reasonably cheap, you generally pay for the luxury of physically handling products to determine the fit/build quality/etc. If youre trying to find a match for a decrepit, disintegrating piece of flotsam that fell off your boat, the time saving can well be justified.Another positive note is everyone Ive encountered at this location has been friendly, polite, and eager to help.

Small Location, horrible parking lot, apparently only one register works, stock is low, called to verify if an item was is stock put on hold 2 times dropped call had to call back. Save yourself time and frustration order on Amazon, same stuff..half the price.

Staff was unpleasant and rude to multiple customers while I was waiting. Also, they were very unhelpful over the phone when I called to find out if they had the item I needed in stock, essentially saying I dont know and wont make the effort to find out.

The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Great service but West Marine in general is somewhat expensive. They honor their warranties no questions asked and will help get you the part that you are looking for in a timely manner.

Nice store but needs to be enlarged to accommodate more items, i.e. fishing equipment, shoe wear, eyewear, lot more boating accessories in store. The West Marine in Oceanside is much more shopper friendly. Large marina in Dana Point. Why not?

Arielle and the entire staff here make boating safe, fun and as boaters we always need something and this store treats you the best and always has or gets by next morning the hardest to find items. I would give 10 stars if it let me.

I could not believe the service that I got? The gentleman was unknowledgeable about everything!!!He knew nothing about anything I asked and he kept having to look everything up in a book and still couldnt find the answers they were very basic questions about life vest did my 13 year old need a license for his raft excetera.. he kept stumbling his words my 13 year old son even said he sucked.. the place look empty and unstocked.I was not impressed at all and I would never ever go back. Sorry for the bad review,but first impressions are huge and Im just trying to be honest.
