I just got my nose pierced here and I can’t recommend them enough. Especially if you don’t know much about piercings, like I didn’t. They were so nice and friendly, and comforting. I have bad anxiety, but the man doing my piercing, I forgot his name but he has an accent and talks fairly fast, was so nice and actually told me riddles all the way up to actually piercing me. It really distracted me. Also, as he was doing each step of the process he was explaining *everything* to me. I feel like sometimes places feel like you already know the info about the piercing so they don’t really tell you much, but here they do! They want you to be completely informed about your piercing before getting it! :))) highly recommend!!!

Got my nose pierced here a couple weeks ago! The place is very clean and the staff was very nice and informative. Only thing is I had an appointment for 5:00 and still had to wait over an hour so that was pretty annoying. Other than that it was a good experience.

All time favorite piercing place. I am an experienced tattoo and piercing goer and I would not recommend anywhere else for your piercings. Every single one of my piercings performed by the owner (I forgot his name, he is AWESOME!) has healed perfectly and never had an issue. He’s done my conch, industrial and tragus. He is very sterile with every single thing he does — very informative and helpful! I started going to him when he was just a kiosk at the Stamford mall and the business has come a very long way! My two friends and I recently got our ears pierced (conch, rook & cartlidge) and all three of us were extremely satisfied with the job done. Would never go anywhere else.

The piercer was fantastic. We drove 2hrs round trip because many places werent allowing two people in appointments because of covid. They had great availability. You might have to wait awhile for the appointment though because Sergio takes his time with every client. Piercings can be stressful, he takes a lot of time to explain everything and show the sterilization process so you feel confident and safe. Would give 6 stars 🌟.

Sergio did an amazing job piercing my 11 year old daughters ears. She was getting her third piercing and he noticed that one of her second ones was very uneven (was pierced elsewhere and with a gun which I would never recommend). He fixed her second and placed the third perfectly. He was kind and gentle. She actually didn’t even feel the first one and asked when he was going to pierce her ear! Bought a nose ring real gold, but the new “system” they have for the back of the nose ring is not gold. And it sticks out weirdly…if you have metal allergy dont do it.Also bought a ‘rose gold’ belly ring that faded after 3 weeks… Cant speak for the piercing but the jewelry was overpriced since its cheap…

This spot is all around great! They made my piercing experience so much better! I went in for my first septum piercing yesterday, and I was so nervous! I got a navel piercing recently and I was super nervous and both the front desk lady and Sergio (one who did the piercing) did such an amazing job. Visit 1: I went in to ask about getting lip piercings. They said they aren’t doing any oral piercings at the moment because of COVID. So I said alright, would you know when you might be doing them again. And then they said they don’t do the specific piercing I wanted done on my lip at all (snakebites/labrets). Which was wierd because I have two friends that had their snake bites done at this location, and one of them is a regular and both said that this place is super friendly and clean and great. I know I didn’t get to talk to the piercer, Sergio, because he was in the middle of a piercing and I’ve met him before. But the person that was greeting everyone was the one that had turned me away and denied that they did that piercing at all, but their site says they do labrets, and my friends had gotten them done. Not to mention they did my friends septum just within the last two weeks, which means they had to move their mask to get the piercing done. I do want to try coming to this location again, just in case it was the one person that was like that, because I heard so many great things about Tribu, and was very disappointed in the way I was treated.VISIT 2: Came in and a different worker was there. Sergio heard me ask about snake bites to them and came over and he was super psyched about doing the piercings. I plan to go back on Thursday and get them done as per his recommendation because I wasnt going to get them done that day. Sergio was super nice and super open about different lip piercings and how aftercare was going to be! I look forward to my piercings being done!!!

Sergio and Tatiana were amazing!, Tatiana held a really good conversation before I got pierced and she was so awesome!Sergio was unlike any other piercer I’ve been to, He took his time and explained the sanitization of all of the tools he was using, he opened the needle and The jewelry in front of me and got on new gloves after he came in contact with anything that was sanitary. He let me see how each of the septum rings would look and took into consideration where I wanted the jewelry, he cracked jokes and make sure I was comfortable.When it came to the actual piercing, he counted to 3 and it was over in a flash, he explained the after care and then it was over. I made an appointment for 8:15 and drove 45 minutes to get there. Because it took me forever to actually find the store in the mall I was ten minutes late. When I got there at 8:25 they told me they already gave away my appointment and even though they close at 9 wouldn’t pierce my ears. I am beyond disappointed and confused as to why an appointment I made 5 days ago was given up in less than ten minutes.

Head to Tribu instead!The long review for anyone who cares:I am not into piercings for myself, I just have one set of lobe piercings that were done at a Claire’s type store as a child. It was not a great experience, I ended up with uneven piercings and metal sensitivities...bleh. I knew I wanted my daughter to have a better experience than I did, especially if these end up being her only piercing like mine. Tribu came very highly recommended by a friend, and after checking out the website and reviews (they seriously do deserve all of those 5 star reviews) I signed up for an appointment. The website was easy to use and informative!Tati, our piercer, was extremely kind, patient, and thoughtful. I really appreciated how everything was clean/sanitized in front of us and the process was clearly explained. It’s also great to see their training certificate on display - no 20 minute training videos for piercing guns here!! They’re professionals.For kids, Tribu gives the option of needle piercing or a one-time-use piercing gun from Gentle Pierce. We opted for the needle piercing as it is generally safer and less trauma to the ear, and a titanium stud. My daughter was able to stay calm through the entire piercing, I think not having the loud noise of the piercing gun made the whole experience less jarring.Tati gave excellent aftercare instructions, answered all of my questions, and they have a 2 page printout with additional instructions that you can photograph with your phone to “take home”. The waivers at the beginning are also filled out via QR code on your phone. It’s so nice that it was all touchless! The only touching was when the piercing was actually being done, and for that Tati was in full PPE (gown, mask, face shield, gloves). It all felt extremely safe and comfortable.We also met the owner Sergio while we were there! He is so kind and professional. All in all, a great business establishment that you feel good about supporting.

My 17 yo daughter researched a lot of places to get her septum pierced. Tribu was the only place she found that had virtually 100% approval from clients. I got my nose pierced by Sergio back in September of 2019 I went in today for a different reason. Long story short I got my rook pierced else where and the person did not do a good job she used too short of a curved barbell and my rook never healed I had to go to the closest piercing shop by my job because I just couldn’t take the pain anymore. The piercer struggled to take out once it was out he put in a thin hoop ring. I came to Sergio to see if he can taper the hole and put in the correct curved size barbell he did, as well as changing my nose ring altogether it was very affordable. Sergio is kind, informative and caring his shop is well kept together and very clean. I will definitely be recommending him to other friends and family members as well as coming back myself. If I could give 10 stars I would.

**For reference, I have ear, septum and body piercings and have been to many shops and interacted with many piercers so Id like to think that I have a pretty good idea of everything**Ive been to Tribu a couple of times (for changing old jewelry out/ear lobe piercing) and today I got my helix pierced and daith jewelry changed. The owner, Sergio, did both of those for me. Sergio is very concerned with hygiene and sanitation, he explains it and exactly what he is doing every step of the way. I thoroughly appreciate this, and he is by far the cleanest piercer with the cleanest shop that I have ever been to. Sergio is also very knowledgeable about piercing and will answer all your questions. I highly recommend this shop, however you should book an appointment online ahead of time because they are insanely busy.

I just had another pair of lobe piercings done by the owner/piercer Sergio today.I was very comforted by his cleanliness and extreme professionalism.Upon entering, he greets his customers and I appreciated his good attitude. When it was my turn to be pierced in the room, he showed himself to be quite knowledgeable about what he was doing, which helped me to be more reassured in my decision. He also is friendly in conversation to make you feel less nervous.During the piercing process, he cleaned everything infront of me and showed that he took his tools and jewelry from sterile packaging. Ontop of that he was quite consistent in making sure everything was cleanly and replaced his gloves after each step to prevent cross contamination.For the actual piercing, he marked the spot for the new holes perfectly even and let me check before proceeding. I barely felt the pain, as he did it quick and simple. It was surpring that it went by so quickly because he does the manual needle piercing method instead of the piercing gun, and I thought it would hurt more but this was actually much easier.After the piercing, he went over some basic care instructions so I could heal in the best way possible and even asked for customer feedback on how he could better please people going forward.I was more that satisfied with his performance and might even take him up on the offer to come back for more. 😄

Every experience I’ve had is great here. Sergio has done several of my piercings and the experience is comfortable and safe from start to finish. It’s sanitary, and he’s wonderful with keeping me calm the whole process.Especially for genital piercing, he’s very professional. I’d never been so nervous for a piercing but he made sure I wasn’t experiencing any discomfort and checked on me several times before and after performing the piercing. Im happy with my setup as it is but if I decide on any more, this is where I will go. I can’t recommend them enough.

I got a cartilage piercing, the pricing was very fair ($35 for the piercing and then the cost from there depends on what type of earring you choose) for the exceptional service that Sergio provided. In a highly professional and personal manner, Sergio showed how in every step along the way he was being 100% sanitary, avoiding cross contamination, and showing how to spot red flags if I ever went to another piercing place. Wish I could give this place and Sergio more than 5 stars, I learned so much and I’m so happy with my piercing!!

I got a nose piercing and i literally have no complaints! absolutely no pain, three months later and i never got a bump, it was great and the guy was really nice. 10x easier than getting your ears pierced

Sergio is amazing!! He walks you through the whole process and explains everything so nicely. This has been the most sterile place I’ve ever been at. Gave me a keloid when he tried pushing a very small hoop into my nose that he had to take out about 5 times cause he couldnt get it in

Went in today as a spur of the moment thing to get a hoop for my nose and wound up with a new piercing too. They guys working were so nice, you could tell they enjoy their job. The atmosphere was great. The piercer explained everything and made me feel really comfortable. Would highly recommend coming here not just to have work done but for the large array of jewelry too.
