I have two wedding bands, and had discussed with associates from this store attaching them to create a diamond enhancer/ring guard for my engagement ring where you then slide your main ring in and out at will. There are hundreds of examples of these available through Kay’s website so I thought my rings were in good hands. An associate at the store was the one who suggested this for my two wedding bands and said it was completely possible. Over a month later we received my RING back, using the singular word ring because they instead fused my wedding bands to the side of my engagement ring. When I called and spoke with a manager, they were completely unsympathetic to my distress. They kept telling me what I was asking for is not possible (the Diamond enhancer/ring guard) and she really didn’t even know what that was. So disgusted and disappointed.

My mother and I were extremely happy with the services assistant manager Lindsay gave us. We have come back twice to shop and maintain our jewelry with her because our experience was that great! Not only did she show us some options in our price range but also invited us to the next diamond event. Overall Lindsay did a fantastic job!

This review is long overdue, but I just want to thank Lindsay and Elisabeth for going above and beyond to create my dream ring. As restrictions were lifting for COVID, it was impossible finding a jewler who had my desired diamond, cut, and clarity. Many provided false promises. But that all changed when I met this dream team. When the first time I spoke to Lindsey and told her about what I was looking for in a diamond, within the same day, (only took a few hours) she was able to locate the diamond and have the diamond availiable the following week. I came that week (met Elisabeth) and purchased the diamond. Since my ring was custom made, Lindsay and Elisabeth provided their undivided attention to the details. We worked together and I was so impressed by their kindness. They truly care about their customers and making sure they are satisfied. I was able to communicate everything that I wanted without ever feeling like a burden. Im so happy about my ring and I cant thank them enough for all they did. I couldnt have picked a better team to help me in the process.

The manager, Elizabeth, was very helpful with solving an uncommon issue I had with my jewelry from Kay. She had the issue resolved in under a week despite various complications we came across, which all occurred during summer of 2019 (Covid). Very happy with my experience and glad the issue was able to be resolved without me having to pay out of pocket.

Highly recommend! The staff helped me return an item I ordered online. I went to another Kay store before I came to this store at Danbury fair. The information was wrong on the receipt so the staff in another store just told me to return it through mail. The staff in this store was friendly and did what she could to return it. The most important of all: She made it and it was very efficiently.

Where do I even start... oh yeah Vivian is the greatest associate I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. The way she approaches everything, her customer service is phenomenal and also she helps out with what I need for certain situations. Kay’s has themselves an amazing employee, AND (I didn’t give her a review last time so this is me giving her recognition twice) she also helped me pick out my promise ring which my girlfriend loves so she is amazing. She’s the reason why I will be coming back to shop here!!!!!

Jonah, one of the sales associates, is amazing!! He is knowledgeable and pays very close attention to his work with each client. I have dealt with some issues with my account for the past two years and no one at any of the other kay stores Ive visited was able to fix it, but Jonah did so with ease. If you visit this branch, ask for him! Hes the best!

The staff do their job well. I expected the people to try to sell me on something but instead they seemed to care more about what I was really looking for which I liked. They showed me what they had and listened to what I had to say. The specific person that assisted me was very respectful and didnt try to be the fake salesmen and pretend to be a certain way to get me to buy something. I went in to the store on Valentines Day. They were not busy and I wanted to get a couple pieces of jewelry. My girlfriend and I waited over 10 minutes and the staff would look at us then proceed to find someone else to help. I understand that I do not look like a wealthy man, but you should never refuse to help someone because of appearances. We left and ended up spending $1500 in Macys and you have lost my business forever.

My previous jewler left the mallA few people recommended Folsom Jewlers on Main St. I walked in and the owner came up to me and made me feel welcomed. All the work they have created was exactly what i wanted. They even had to create 2 rings that I wanted. Love them.

I took my husbands watch in to have the battery changed in December 2016. I called repeatedly over the next 2-3 months inquiring about the battery replacement. I was given the run around (its being repaired, its undergoing special quartz testing. and the excuses went on). Finally, I tracked down the Store Manager who explained that the watch needed a new battery (I have a lifetime warranty) and additional repairs. I declined the repairs and asked them to simply honor the battery replacement warranty and return the watch. Feed up I called on 3/29/17 and was told the watch has been ready for pick-up since 3/2/17. HORRIBLE. Go anywhere but dont go to Kay Jewelers.

I am not entirely sure if I am spelling his name correct or not but Jonah is super incredible.He has helped me out with all questions that I have had in the past and helped me get a chain fixed.He advised me that the wait for the chain could be up to 2 weeks but it arrived back sooner than that, which is awesome.Whoever reads this, make sure Jonah (Danbury Fair Mall, Connecticut - Kay Jewelers) gets the recognition, he’s awesome lmao.He wasn’t there yesterday (January 21st) when I went to go pick up the necklace but The store manager, Elisabeth, was there and she assisted me perfectly fine.I love the service that I received here and I 100% recommend all of my friends and family to come here for jewelry purposes.Thank you all for the amazing customer service and hopefully I am able to attend the Diamond & Deisgn Event on April 13thMichelle was also awesome.Thanks!Andrew Valencia

Tried ordering wedding bands back in November, received no call telling me that mine was in but my fiances wasnt in yet. Called them back the first week in December and Jeff says hell call me back after he finds out what happened to the other ring. Heard nothing. Call them back again on the 18th and they wouldnt give me a straight answer, Jeff again saying hell call me back. My fiance and I decided well take our business elsewhere if we dont hear from him. Call them back later that day after not hearing from him and all he does is try to talk over me so I hung up. Couldnt even transfer the ring I ordered to another store. Never shopping here again and advising everyone else to do the same.

His exact words where the money I was paying was not worth it anyway what a joke and what horrible customer service. I have been a customer for over 10 years and I will never be coming back.

Get these sales ladies to have their nails done, especially when they are trying on jewelry for customers. It isnt helpful or appealing when the have chipped nail polish. And stop hiring people that lack customer service skills..Bad enough we pay pver priced jewlery at Kays... Danbury location is the worst

This place is horrible. My boyfriend purchased a necklace for me here a few years back and he also bought the warranty on the necklace so when I accidentally broke the chain we went in to have it replaced and they told us he did not purchase the warrantee although he knew he did and had his receipt to prove it. They still refused to replace the chain. Last week I went in to to purchase a chain thinking maybe things have changed and the man who helped me was doing nothing other than trying to force me to purchase things I didnt want and not taking me seriously. He also had a terrible attitude. I ended up buying a chain because I felt so pressured and went back the following week to return it only to be hassled and talked down to buy the same guy. Very very rude and extremely expensive. Would recommend Pagoda instead.

Suppose to be a great experience when shopping for engagement rings. Ordered 2 rings and needed a third resized... was told two weeks, still nothing 7 weeks later. Every time I called (2-3/week) no one remembered me, knew my order or had any information whatsoever. Needless to say I was very disappointed and took my $12,000 somewhere else. This kiss did not begin with Kay Lol (not really funny)

I find the staff friendly but their products are terrible. Ive come in more times for repairs than purchases. One day I saw a piece of paper on the counter and it showed employee names and warranty dollar totals. Why else wound that be tracked if not for a quota? Save your time and shop elsewhere.

Service sucks. Had my ring fixed and they bent it, sent it out again and they left the stone dirty. 2 weeks later the same stone fell out. Was told 2 weeks it took 4 and I had to call to see if it was ready. They wont get anymore business of mine.
