Charlie and Dave were beyond amazing.. had an appointment with AppleCare at 5pm today and was treated with the the best customer experience ever.. Charlie was not only knowledgeable in replacing my broken iPhone 11 but was able to increase my iCloud storage so I was able to retreat everything from my previous phone for only $.99. I was able to transfer all my storage to my new phone in 20 minutes.. I asked Charlie if i could purchase a screen protector for my new phone and sent me over to Dave. Dave offered just as an amazing experience and had me on my way in 10 minutes. I had anxiety coming to the store and going through this process but everything was smooth as warm butter. Thank you to the Danbury Apple Store and their amazing staff! :)

This is without a doubt the worst Apple store ever. They are not accommodating, they’re always slow to do anything at all, even a simple pick up or a simple transaction. They’re always short of staff even though there’s like six employees just walking around the store doing nothing. There is not a single transaction I had in this store that has gone smoothly and the only reason why I still use them every now and then it’s because I am two minutes away from the store, but always disappointed none the less. Although I have gone to other Apple stores like the one in White Plains to do what I needed to do because the one in Danbury is without a doubt the worse Apple store there is around. Avoid at all cost do not waste of time with these clowns

Wait times are ridiculous but with the current climate its understandable, yet the timeline for their “convenient” order pick-up, curbside, etc is unacceptable. Dont offer a service you cant fully provide, regardless of the climate. Itll tell you your order is ready for pickup, and youll still have to wait an eternity.Customer service for me is mostly good, patient and understanding. But be prepared for the possibility of certain problems not being addressed efficiently. I wouldnt expect that from a company that touts themselves top of the line for customer service blah blah.There was a review complaining about a dog being in the store. If the comment bothered you as it bothered me, look for it and report that ridiculousness. Im almost certain that if a dog is allowed, its for legitimate purposes, mostly service dog-related. People can be so disrespectful.All in all, aside from the long long waits, store is pleasant, staff are polite and accommodating.

Having tried to fix my computer for the past 2 weeks and running diagnostics at home, I made an appointment at the apple store. Keren was great from the beginning explaining the steps that she was going to take and walking me through the diagnostics. She explained the issue and provided me with a few options as to how to proceed. She was kind and took the time to answer my questions.

Horrible! I just wanted to know pricing if I purchased the new iPhone through Verizon’s trade in deal and the guy forced me to walk through the majority of signing up for everything. I told him 10 times I didn’t want to do that and he kept saying “don’t worry, we’re not at the point of no return yet” until we got to yet another screen I needed to sign off on and I refused. Finally his coworker stepped in and showed me pricing without going through any of that. Fast forward to today, about a week or two later, and I just got charged $10 for a T of storage that he told me was free with the new iOS upgrade. I have no earthly idea how to stop the charge. Were they taught to scam customers into errant purchases at this store? Insanity.

Have to make a reservation to get in. After that, the store was crowded. Even with the reservation we had to wait 30 minutes before a salesperson came to us. We knew what we wanted so there was little the salesperson had to do. She was very friendly and helpful. They need more help.

Went in wanting to buy an iPhone 12 Pro Max. I was told I would have to make a sales appointment. There was a two day wait. I thought it might have something to do with covid 19, but I was invited in to browse (and touch whatever I wanted). It was crowded and there even was a dog in there. This is not the Apple Store experience I have known for years now. It’s easier to go to a small ‘carrier store’ and take my chances with advice.

Made an appointment to have the battery replaced on an unresponsive iPhone that I wanted to get the data off of. The Genius rep told me that he could not retrieve any data from an unresponsive phone. I understand that data cannot be removed from a device that will not power on, so I requested that a technician replace the battery, to which I even said I would pay the $49 fee regardless of wether the phone worked after the service or not. Not only did the rep and tech not replace the battery, they did not open the device and inspect it either. Instead they plugged it in, and said nothing happened. I wish I could’ve got the battery replaced as I requested, because I was willing to bet the service charge it was the issue. I was very disappointed yet again with Apple support.Took the phone to a 3rd party directly after to have battery replaced, and she powered right up and I was able to retrieve data for half the cost. So thank you for saving me a buck. :)

No idea you had to still bake an appointment to shop. Thought that was still just for repairs. Waited in line to buy our son a Mac book for college and told that due to covid we needed to make an appointment and nothing left for the day. Asked him why seeing that restriction have been lifted and was told that they are following cdc guidelines. Totally rude little dude. Someone tell them the pandemic is over...also, only store in the entire Danbury mall doing that...

They are the rudest employees at Curbside pickup. Inconvenience is fine. Aggressive and offensive behavior is not. Especially when we are all taking special care to be conscious of each other during this time. I’ve had consistently bad experiences at this Apple store. Die hard Apple fan. Possibly a good store if you’re in New England and in a pinch, but it’s almost worth driving the extra 45 mins to go to the fantastic Berkshires Apple Store. Just not the place you want to go if you are gonna do a curbside pickup.

In spite of making an appointment, I waited over 30 minutes to be helped. I was told that appointments were meant to help the store. Who helps the customers? Employee asked me (a mature female) how I knew so much about iPads. Very insulting! After all that, I was told that I would need to order the iPad online and wait a month. Evidently, the iPad store doesn’t actually stock iPads.Did some additional research, canceled my initial order and purchased the same device on Amazon for $40 less. Don’t waste your time at the Danbury Apple Store!

Primarily had a battery replaced and within 2 weeks phone gave me the temperature message and shut it down, apple did not honor the warranty, did not gave me another phone, they offered a loaner with 64gb when my phone has 254gb that would take up to 8 days for my phone come back from who knows where, So I would not be able to access my apps or photos on the loaner. Yes apple WANTS TO MAKE EVERYTING SO YOU BUY A NEW PHONE AT ALL TIMES.

Apple announced that local walk-ins could now enter the store, but failed to mention that walk in was the only thing you could do. Bc to make an in store purchase you needed an appointment. They couldn’t take 5 minutes to just let me buy it. I even went online to buy it and pick it up at the store so all they needed to do was get it from the back and give it to me but that needed an appointment for the next day as well. Terrible service. Sales should be available at store without appointment.

Absolutley horrid experience. Treated us like cattle when we walked it. Had security at the door to intimidate people. Led us to stand in the corner of the store as if we were diseased cattle and wait for pick up. Ruined apple and this mall for me never coming back. I lost my phone and I was a crazy person. I barged in the store frantic looking for someone to help me. Long story short two employees a young lady ( I didn’t catch her name) and another employee Ben I believe was his name, helped me for over 45 min. Tracking my phone through the mall with me on the phone running to every location they called out. Nonetheless mall security stepped in sent a message to my phone, and it was immediately returned! Thank you to the Att employees that didn’t dismiss me like the apple the store did. That was true customer service. I didn’t even buy anything, so them helping me was something you don’t see. Thank u again. I will return. With my business.

(had to wait outside the store) they took care of me as quickly as possible. it was packed and i was migrating data between phones. i was impressed at the employees efficiency and i over heard some customers with ridiculous expectations, be handle gracefully and with respect.

My girlfriend and I went to switch out our phones at this location, we understood the guidelines and backed-up our devices as requested before going... or so we thought. My girlfriend decided to go through her carrier when she was uncomfortable with her service member at the store and had an issue with her service provider. She went to her carrier store who completed her transaction with-out fault or issue. I, on the other hand, had a different experience, that makes me question whether or not to leave apple forever.The first staff member was rather young but seemed to be fine. However, he had me erase my phone as soon as he checked it in. This is where things go downhill:Did you know back-ups take 24-48 hours to post to iCloud and during that time they can be corrupted if the phone is erased, neither did I.My last full backup, that worked was in 2017 on an 8-year-old Imac so, 4+ years of data down the tube, even though the message on iCloud said that the back-up was complete.The thing is, that iPhones can transfer information with a tap, or through carrier apps. The problem here is that when the apple staff accept your phone, maybe everywhere, but at this store in particular they have you wipe your phone before you could just tap to transfer 4+ years of data. And apple support loves to tell you that there is nothing they can do, even though you did exactly what they asked you to do.So next time maybe allow a user to transfer their device before destroying 4+ years of data.Oh bonus bit:All my contacts stayed, but that was through Google, so there is that.

Not one to complain but this apple store is the only one near my school so it is my only option if my products take the turn for the worse. My AirPods stopped charging and wont connect to my phone and I was getting fed up with reconnecting them to my phone every other day. I took the drive to get them checked out. The guy that helped me told me the case was not charging the AirPods anymore which I knew was the issue so I was not mad when he said that. He proceeded to tell me that they needed to get sent out, I have had no issues at my store back home with replacing the broken item if it stops working. I asked him about replacing the case and he proceeded to tell me again it will only take 3-5 days to get them back and they will get shipped back to the store. I am 2 hours round trip to the store and I dont have time to take that drive to get them back. I asked if they could get shipped back to my school and he said that can be done. he also promised me they would be back to me by Tuesday. Today is Thursday and I have heard nothing about them through the tracking information that I was given. He then tried to sell me apple earbuds to hold me over and then swore up and down the new 12s get earbuds. I will drive the 2 hours to my home store from now on. This store just lost my business.

I want to look at new ipads to spend several hundred dollars. They wont allow u to see the ipads unless you buy one online and then come and wait in line around other people. This is more virus stupidity. The store should be open to at least let u view the products at the windows they set up. For everyone that is going to chime in about safety... I had a software problem on my phone that took up 40 GB of space. Came in without an appointment and waited 2 hours which was fine because I got to shop. Theresa took care of me and she was so great! She walked me through everything she was doing - explained to me what was going on with my phone, and was completely transparent with me about the entire experience. My appointment took a very long time because my phone had a multitude of issues but I had a lovely experience here today. Thank you again Theresa!

I went to make a reservation to buy two phones. The employee clearly heard me saying buying two phone because my friends was also making reservation to pick it up later for the day. We all ordered two phones. But when I pick it up later, the employee changed it to one. Apple clearly has too many workers that don’t want to do anything but takes 20 minutes to bring a phone out. Worst customer service ever. You guys should really evaluate twice before hire so many workers.

Dropped off my IPhone 11 Pro, to get the screen replaced on 8/23/2020. Got the call today, 8/28/2020, that it is ready for pick up. So when my husband receive the phone, the representative says that he has to go to t- mobile to get a new SIM card! What the hell happened to the old SIM card? No one at Danbury Apple store had any answers! I’m am so through with Apple and their poor customer service! This place is the f- king worse! I won’t recommend this place to my worst enemy!Just received a phone call from my husband. The manager resolved the whole problem. He contacted sprint/t-mobile and set up a brand new phone for him. I feel like that representative could have done the same thing, but just didn’t want to do the extra work. So I want to thank the Manager of the Apple store in Danbury Mall. These are hard times and you went the extra mile for husband. I really appreciate you and your excellent customer service! That’s what a REAL Manager does, resolves conflicts.

Only accepting customers by appointment except the next available appointment isn’t for 3 days. My phone couldn’t make any calls or texts at all and one of the employees had the super helpful suggestion to “call one of the other Apple stores in CT to see if they take walk-in’s”. Obviously I can’t call because that’s the entire problem. Absolutely useless customer service, not to mention the number of employees standing around doing nothing but you won’t accept walk-in’s. Will never go back.

Disorganized choas. No signage of where you should be. And temperature test on the wrist? Thats a first, and extremely inaccurate. Had to go to 3 people before i figured out how the line works to get in the store. Crazy crazy..Staff member (Lynn) who helped me was amazing though, she gets 2 stars added to the review. Very nice, friendly, very helpful.Overall, experience very confusing due to lack of signage and clear instructions. Stand over there with a vague wave isnt very clear. The service and repair? Extremely easy and fast, adding one more star simply because covid is making everything nuts and Lynn was so nice.

Danbury Fair Mall is a great mall that has a large variety of stores for everything & everybody! It has a great Food court with so many vendors.your taste buds will be fulfilled...unlike the JeffersonValley Mall which has two food vendors...& has been that way for years even though they have been saying that more are coming...not so! We always go to Danbury Mall for anything we need.. wedding attire..dressy clothes, fun clothes, high end & daily stuffs! A great place to shop...just wish we didnt have to travel so far to get a great shopping experience!

I had an appointment yesterday at 4:40 PM. My phone was freaking out and opening apps by itself and just flickering and doing weird things. The Apple employee who I can’t remember his name took one look without touching the phone and said I needed a new screen for $130. I said could you please plug the phone in to see if there’s something wrong he said I’ve seen this before you need a screen. Needless to say I uploaded everything to iCloud deleted everything off my phone brought back minimal things and now my phone is fine. If the employee would’ve taken two seconds to plug my phone and he might’ve found the glitch.Maybe I had a virus I don’t know either way terrible service. By the way my phone is fine now.

So I went to apple to get my phone replaced because I have AppleCare and I cracked the back of my phone I’ve been to a different apple store before and this process went smoothly but this store decided to tell me that it had to be sent out for repair which was nonsense because they automatically replace the phone if the back is cracked but then they gave me a phone to borrow which had no service so was pretty useless and made me wait a week and when I arrived they handed me a new phone and charged me $100 instead of the $25 that it cost when sent out and fixed and this all could’ve been taken care of a week ago but since I’m young they decided to take advantage and run me around and I live an hour away so its not like the store was even close definitely wouldn’t go to this apple store

The store offers excellent courses in how to use a number of Apple products and the number of students is very small so you get to ask a lot of questions. The store offers a fair amount of products for sale, too. Some of the staff are really hardworking people who try to do everything they can to please the customer but unfortunately other employees spend time chatting with each other and not paying attention to the customer. Some people working there can be stuck up about Apple products; I understand they’re there to sell but enough already.

As I wait I hear an Apple representative tell another customer they have no batteries for iPhone 6 or 6+. I had a very embarrassing visit to the Danbury Mall store. I went in to purchase a IPhone 11 Pro as my IPhone 8 having problems with the sound. I dealt with 2 young men, one which was black and one was white. The first young (black) who did the diagnostic was very professional and gave me my options on repair vs replacement. I left and returned to purchase the phone and this time and was paired with a white young man who came up to me and during his greeting extended his hand. I in turn held me hand out and he quickly pulled his hand away avoiding me touching him. What was embarrassing about is that he did this about 3 times in quick succession and kept pulling his hand away avoiding my touch. That was very unprofessional behavior for a place that boast how Well they treat their customer.

If I ever have another issue with one of my Apple Products, I will not be returning to this store for help. I made an appointment the night before to get my MacBook looked at for a power issue, and I ended up waiting an hour for someone to fix the issue. The whole time there were employees chatting with each other, and I had to track an employee down to get them to help me figure out what was taking so long. She had to radio the techs in the back that I was there and had been waiting a while. The issue ended up being fixed in 5 minutes.

Needed help with a poorly functioning laptop. Had a genius bar appointment. Took forever. Everyone at my table waiting for help at least half an hour. Genius person was ok. Then his shift ended and I sat there like an idiot until I could talk another genius into help me. Visit took 2-1/2 hours.

Dropped off my iPhone 7 Plus to have the screen replaced, and it was ready within 45 minutes. Bi-polar customer service and sales associates. Bi-polar in the sense that one representative will tell you one thing, another will tell you something entirely different. My experience in this location has either been terrific or horrible, and it all depends on who you work with and their current mood. I dont normally write reviews nor mention names, but today was entirely unacceptable and the line coordinator Tom - 62 with blondish hair, Spoke to me in such a condescending tone. I paused for a moment to ask him if he was even paying attention to what I said. Wheres the customer experience or undivided attention? Tom was so adamant to get his point across and show me how I was wrong than to listen to what I needed. At the end of the transaction, I was right. Not because the customer is always right but having ANOTHER associate apologize for his behavior and said I understood what you needed from the beginning lets take care of it for you now..My experience left me so disgusted after leaving I wanted to make a formal complaint but the store was packed. I asked another associate for his name and decided to write a review to make sure everyone knows to avoid this guy.No surprise that 50% of this stores reviews are positive and 50% are negative. Only 1/2 of your employees understand how the customer feels, the other half try to enforce some sort of superiority over the customer.

My husband and I come to CT a handful times a year and we always stop by the mall.I like it a lot. The stores are nice and every visit I have always interacted with professional staff members who understood customer service is what help drive sales.The food court has some really good food .Nothing bad to say about it . Asked if I had an iCloud backup, I said I wasnt sure but wanted my photos/videos, contacts and notes backed up.When I arrived to pick up my phone at 6:15, I was told that the battery could not be replaced so I was given a replacement phone.This would have been great, but when the restore was performed on my phone, all of my photos and videos were missing.This is kind of a big deal, as Im a videographer and photographer, and had quite a few things on my phone for work.Now I understand I signed the contract and took a risk. And I have a feeling this was nothing more than an accident on the part of the associate, tech and myself.My complaint lies with the manager. When I inquired as to why my photos were missing and not backing up when I had said I wanted them backed up, the manager was called out. While he spent several minutes with me, I found him to be extremely condescending, impatient, and frustrating. Phrases like Im trying not to be harsh, but... and let me think of ANOTHER way to say this! filled his part of the conversation, while he tried to tell me all the reasons why it was more than likely MY fault that the photos were missing (again, Im not denying that, but I DID say that I wanted them backed up)He sarcastically said to me he would try one more time to get the old photos back. By this time, it was 7:45 PM, the store was closing at nine, we had been at the mall since 5:30 PM, and by his tone I could tell it would not have worked so it would have been a waste of time.Given my line of work, Im likely going to lose several jobs due to this. Now I accept the fault that is mine.Its just too bad the manager refuses to accept the fault that is theirs and has to be condescending, frustrating and impatient with his customers.The replacement phone is great. Its just too bad I dont have any of the photos that I needed/wanted on it.

Drove 35 miles to the store. Sat in traffic to getThere. I just want to pick up a I pad and told I have two people in front of me and have to wait. I tellThen I know exactly which one I want, can youJust ring it up for me and I am told youHave to speak and wait to see a certain person. So I can go to target or Best Buy and just pick one up and here I have to wait to speak to someone.Thats great for someone who is not sure what they want or how to use it. I have had two older I pads and just want to pick up a new one. Way to go Apple. I have a Mac Pro, I pad and I phone Will have to re think apple I guess

I have to say, I’ve been to a lot of Apple stores but this one I had to leave a positive review for the staff here. I initially went into get my screen fixed on my phone and the representatives were very nice, courteous and helped me with whatever I needed unfortunately the fix took longer than anticipated and I wound up getting educated about a few other products that I want up buying at the store. Special mentioned to Lindsay, Frank, and ceas. Really good people.

If you think that calling the phone number on Google will get you a person at the physical store you want to talk to or go to, then you are WRONG. You get the automated system which sends you to the call center and you cant ask the local store any questions and are not allowed to talk directly to the store.What a waste of your precious time

Do not ever go this store, they do not honor what they say, worst customer service. Store manager does not even apologize for the mistake they made and didnt help at all. They are definitely destroying apples good customer and left a very very bad experience specially when they openly do not keep their words, are unhelpful and after going through complete order process including credit check. Worst store to visit

Cant get someone to pick up the phone. When you get there it takes forever for someone to talk to you. Then you wait some more. After waiting, you need to wait a little longer. Finally when the waiting is almost done...nope you still have to wait longer.
