I love Aldis! This Danbury location was not well stocked. Many empty areas, but a busy store, so likely just unable to keep up with the demand. I will continue to shop with them, definitely the most affordable in our town of Danbury.

Always very well stocked with foods, and sale items. The staff is very eager to help and seems to enjoy their jobs here. The restroom is well maintained. They open checkout lines quickly when the line gets longer. I wish there was one central place labeled at all Aldis where the line formed and then funnels off to newly opened lines, since customers here tend to be rude and cut.

I shop here several times a month as its one of my main places to do my shopping but I recently had a horrible experience here today . Our cashier paily / faily was throwing our groceries into our carts, when this young lady was asked to stop as she was throwing heavier items on top of delicate items causing damage,she rolled her eyes and muttered shut up . This was absolutely unacceptable customer service. Aldi needs to vet their new hires better. This type of customer service experience is unacceptable, we support Aldi by spending $150-$200 each visit just to be treated this way ? No simply unacceptable.

I can go there and see the same people who work there which always is a plus because that means that they must be treating their employees fairly well in order to retain them. Love this place. Not the best customer experience - only like 2 employees for the entire place. But that is not the reason we go. Many times, products will be cheaper and potentially healthier. For example, cookies and packaged foods often dont have nasty ingredients by default.

SUPER CHEAP! They have the best prices. They dont have a huge selection with multiple brands but what they do have tastes great too. I cannot speak highly enough about ALDI.

This Aldis is clean, well stocked and affordably priced. If you are okay with not well known brands of equal quality to their more expensive counterparts and you dont need a well decorated grocery store, Aldis is perfect!

I shop here regularly; prices on their own foods are low and MOST of them are surprisingly good quality. The meat is good, but Ill just say there are some odd cuts, and I actually think Walmart has better cheese. Produce is good but varies and isnt very presentable. Sounds like a lot of criticism, but everything else Ive tried (which is a lot) is great. I dont mind the rough look given the price-to-quality they offer, and the staff was always nice and helpful.

Aldi Danbury is doing a good job keeping things in stock and clean.

Ive had great experiences shopping at Aldis, usually with great prices and good selection. But, the Danbury store seems to be struggling. In recent weeks Ive stopped in looking for specific items, and they are sold out. Seems to happen there quite a bit. Yesterdays visit was the worst. I was in around 6pm, and the store wasnt very busy, but the produce section was horrible. There were 4 avocados available, and each one was split and turning brown. Most of the packages of grapes looked as though half the grapes had already been eaten, and there were loose boughs of grapes out of the bags just placed in boxes. One container of raspberries was completely eaten, and another was open and half empty with several smashed raspberries on the floor. Prepackaged yellow squash was brown and soft. And while the produce department was a mess, only 1 store employee, the cashier, was visible. Much better attend is needed at this location.

Prices and selection are great if you are not a name brand shopper. Produce prices are good but selection is limited. All in all a great place to save money and feed your family.

I’ve never boughten meat, seafood or chicken here but I’ve never had an issue with the organic produce. Their European cookies and chocolate are good as well.

The snack selections are the best. Many European cookies are sold in less than half the price of what you’d find in other stores. The eggs and milk price beat everyone even Walmart. The best grocer ever!

Great prices and good variety. Their store brand is excellent. Especially good for milk, eggs, bread etc. I save almost 50% on these items. Its interesting to note that they are owned by the same people who own Trader Joes.

Managers are horrible at this location, especially the one always depressed trying to ruin all the lives of customers around them! Noticed as a shopper who has been to this location quite a few times. Drive the extra distance to visit another one!

One of the BEST stores for groceries. We cannmot find any other place that has as good prices as they do. They also have amazingly good store brand products, and one of the best gluten-free selections.

I only ever spend about $5 here because they charge a quarter for the carts and I never have change on me, so I cross the street to do my full grocery shopping. They lose out on people making big shopping here due to this because if you dont have a cart, you cant do an entire shopping.

Love coming to Aldi. Always leave here with some great deals. Going to be honest the one thing that we are not crazy about is their meat. We tried a few different cuts in several occasions and was generally disappointed. Great frozen items however and done awesome fruit vegetables and bread. Just wish there had a fresh meat and seafood department instead of pre packaged delivered items.

I love Aldi..however this plaza has a lot of problems. I have had a few run ins with people in the plaza. One following me to my car asking if I could loan him some money, another states he found my car keys in his car after I saw him running some kind of scam inside with only woman who were alone. Over the summer finding a homeless man drunk on a bench who had gotten sick all over himself during a heatwave . It made me change going to this location because I was worried as the people seem to be getting more aggressive. Its a safety issue. So sadly, I love the store but not the location

Although they dont sell name brand products, its still inexpensive to get the groceries you need, especially if its for a holiday. If youre unable to afford name brand products, this is the place to get what you need the most. The reason I rated 4 star is because sometimes, there isnt enough cashier to help everyone when it gets busy (including holidays). I hope this helps everyone.

Aldi has good reputation but during todays shopping only few good deals: organic coconut water 1.29, cereal below 2 dollars, organic coconut oil below 5 dollars. Most other items were at or a bit above market price.

Great deals, great selection, decent range of organic products, environmentally conscious and much cheaper than other local grocers. Similar to Grocery Outlet if youre familiar with that place.

Love this store, love the 25¢ shopping cart gig that keeps carts from clogging the parking lot and gets folks saying hi as they trade their quarter for a cart.The store has great products for great prices.

Really one of the best Aldis I have ever visit. Great selection and constantly improving. Great selection of organic products and constantly surprising me with the quality. This has nothing to do with Aldi but I though to mention sewer plant smell outside in this area, dont be surprised it is normal.

What great tasting food, prices are low, and now GMOs in their products. Its like a small Whole Foods at a fraction of the price.

My wife and I recently started shopping at Aldi as a way to save some money. We have been really impressed with the store. The prices are extremely low. But the quality doesnt suffer. The produce is always fresh and everything tastes good. The staff is also friendly. We always bought generic goods at other grocery stores, so we dont mind the lack of name brand items. I dont need 6 brands of peanut butter! Its important to note that they dont have everything. But its worth it to run to another store to pick up a few odds and ends to achieve the savings we have by shopping at Aldi.

I love ALDI.. but they need to open at to 830 or 815pm.. give us a little more time to shop..

Great value at Aldi. Its a little self service like Costco. It is a sister to Trader Joes but completely different. Trader Joes has a more upscale selection and full service. Aldi is more basic but has so many excellent buys. I love their Almond Milk, dairy products, many organic items including eggs and ground beef. Produce is very reasonable. There are certain items I only buy at Aldi, so I stop by once a week. Excellent selection of very good quality chocolate since they are a German company. Give it a try.
