This store is amazing. Customer service is top priority. The sales people and manager are not chasing you around the store badgering you about products. I just went in to buy some mini season gear and found what I wanted and at a competitive price. 5 stars for this place!

I absolutely love this place. Divers Direct Dania beach is in my opinion definitely hands down the best dive shop in so Fla. Vanessa & Emily are amazing.. All there staff is really.. They go out of there way to make sure you find everything you need. I would recommend this place to anybody looking for a great Dive shop or if your looking to get certified 5⭐ service. These pictures are some of the dive equipment I just bought them there for work. I would definitely recommend the Aqua lung Bcd pack very comfortable nice quality material for beginners& expert Divers..

This is long overdue but if you are looking at getting more than just the bare minimum to get certified to dive or earn additional certs, then Michael Hallman is the instructor you want! Michael is very professional given his 20+ years in the Coast Guard and takes your training to the next level beyond the bare minimum. My experience with him in May of 2021 was beyond anything that most instructors would do for their students. I had planned on knocking out my wreck, deep and advanced adventurer with Michael. We had planned on doing all of it in the open ocean beside 2 dives in a lake to work on search and recovery. The weather did not play nice and the ocean was too rough to go out. Michael was able to come up with a solution to knock out all my required dives to get my certs. Part of this solution was an 8-hour round trip drive up to Blue Grotto to get in my deep dives. He made this offer on his own to help me out since I flew down to FL to work with him and didn’t have the options in Colorado for deep dives. I don’t think any other instructor would have made that offer without requiring a lot of planning in advance but not Michael, he made it happen the next day after we realized we were not going to make it out. I will be highly recommending him to all my dive buddies and anyone looking for a top-notch instructor in Ft Lauderdale area.

My family and I love Divers Direct for all of our snorkeling and diving apparel and gear. Mike has always been the person for us to go to at Divers Direct. He is very knowledge and professional. He has always had our best interest and is great at suggesting what gear would be best for us. Highly recommend this please and ask for Mike.

It’s truly a pleasure shopping here. It is my go-to place for all my diving needs. Nice selections and the staff is great, always friendly and extremely helpful. Vanessa helped me today. I told her what I was looking for and she walked over and handed me exactly what I wanted. Nelson offered suggestions on dry storage as well. In the past, they were able to locate and special order a discontinued part that I needed, saving me the cost of replacement. Good prices and decent sales. I also saved about 20% on my purchase today using the DiversDirect Rewards card which I love!

The employees were knowledgeable and very helpful. They took their time helping me find what I was looking for. Unfortunately alot of items had no price and some items seem to been marked incorrectly. Looking over my receipt when I got home and realized an item marked $26.99 was $39.99. I understand mistakes happen and besides this error my experience was great.

DD is the model for all other dive shops to benchmark against. I have been diving for 50 years and although the local mom & pops make there best effort, they cant compete with what DD offers. Examples: inventory variety & in stock items; competitive pricing; professional personnel and a store that is literally a high end showroom. This location is ideally located next to Outdoor world which is very convenient for the boater & outdoorsman also. It’s a shame that DD closed their Miami Dade location and never re-opened there. Divers like me feel they abandoned our county & hope they open a site there again soon. Thanks

Received horrible customer service over the last 2 months with DD. I ordered a new wetsuit shorty for my wife for Mothers Day. When it arrived it had a huge water stain on the wetsuit (in the bag), and so could not give it to her for Mothers Day. When I called a week later, they offered to replace it no problem and said it would be shipped out. It never arrived. I emailed customer service for a follow up and got no reply. Called again today (now June 19th, and have since gone diving and my wife had to rent a shorty thanks to this still not being resolved). When I spoke to customer service I was told there was no note of any of this, and the managers had no recollection of the call. No offer to resolve. So I am returning the product for a full refund, and this will be my last interaction with them. Last month I bought over $1000 worth of gear from them, so would have thought they would have tried to offer some solution, or better yet an APOLOGY, but nope didnt get that either. Highly recommend you shop somewhere else!

Having spent my entire diving experience up until this point using rental tanks, I felt a need to step up and purchase a tank more suited to my (high) air consumption. I had generally, if possible rented a steel 100, but have been stuck with aluminum 80s too frequently. I bought the reasonably priced steel 133 and was able to spend four times as much bottom time as a dive three days earlier (with an aluminum 80). Besides the quality equipment (I also purchase a steel 80, some lead, and a few other sundry items), the service was top notch! The Manager Venessa and clerk Emily were friendly and helpful. I just wish they were located closer to my home!

We were very impressed with our first visit to the Ft. Lauderdale/Dania store. Once we entered we were greeted and asked how they could help us. The sales associate showed up our options, recommended products based on our needs and provided expert advice. The associates in the store are friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this location.

Michael is a great diving expert, trainer or guide. We booked him for a briefing / small course for the full face masks.I can only recommend this which concerns the attitude and small details of the mask. After that, everything is much safer and more relaxed.Micheal is super punctual, well prepared, and has everything you need. The directions to the localities such as pool and marina were great.The selection of diving spots were great and were interesting. One did not realize that it was a small course, but could enjoy the dives without stress.When we are back in Miami, we will gladly come back with Michael dives as he knows the interesting spots well.

The reason for not giving a full five-star review for the amazing employees Hal & Mike Jones, is because the company needs to make their requirements regarding masks clear to their employees. When walking in the store (unmasked), I read that masks are “recommended” nowhere on the sign did it say it was required. However, when walking around one employee, Vanessa, yelled at both myself and a friend saying that the store is requiring masks.Now, I have no problem wearing a mask is the store is requiring it, however how Vanessa handled the situation was completely unprofessional. There was no courtesy involved in customer service there. It could’ve been handled it a much different way, not the way that Vanessa handled the situation-she needs to be educated about store/county policies and the store signs need to be updated regarding what the actual store policy is regarding face masks.On the positive, Hal & Mike Jones were very accommodating regarding all the questions my friend and I had regarding fins and masks, they were very polite, professional, and knowledgeable regarding what questions we had. Would’ve loved to give them a better review, but because of Vanessa, I only bought the bare minimum and will buy whatever else I need on Amazon.

I arrived at the store after receiving an email that my order was ready for pick up. I went to the register and spoke with the lady and she requested my name for the order. She was friendly and quick.The store manager Vanessa I believe came out the back and asked if the front end staff needed any help. She learned I was there to pick up the dive gear I ordered and returned quickly with it.She was ready to answer any questions I had and test it all for me. I politely declined and checked out the store.The store is stocked full of great merchandise and the staff is knowledgeable. I picked up some weight and signed up for their rewards program.Great store with friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Good place to get divers equipment but little out of the way. East of I95 on a private out of the way road.

This is a very large and comprehensive facility with very competitive prices (yearly visual inspection of tanks goes for about $20, Divers Direct does it for $15). However, you get what you pay for. After dropping off 3 tanks to be visually inspected, I was promised about a 5 day turnaround. I specified that the tanks were needed for a dive in 7 days time and that I would be there on Friday to pick up. I was told this would not be a problem. I called on Friday to let the shop know that I had just found out that the dive included tanks so I would stop by on Saturday. On Saturday, the tanks were still not ready! Not a phone call, text, or email. No alert to let me know on Friday - when I called - that there had been a problem. I have now been told they will be ready next Saturday. The manager expressed her regret by giving us the next airfills free. I suggest that something that could be set up is a text to the customer alerting him that tanks are ready for pickup. And for the customer, dont do business that requires a short turnaround!

For the past 3 months I’ve been coming in and buying new gear here and there and everyone has gone above and beyond helping me with my questions and there knowledge on there products is great!! Everything they sell while might seem expensive is totally worth the price. When i started buying gear i went on the cheap side and it shows, since i started shopping at divers direct everything works great! I recommend to check out this place if your looking for new gear.

This is by far the best place to buy all scuba diving gear. I went here a few weeks ago and I loved it. The staff is all super friendly and very knowledgeable they know what they are talking about. Ryan helped me find a mask that was a perfect fit for me. Hes very good I plan on buy all my gear from them and hopefully hes there so he can give me some more good advice on what to get.

Ive been visiting this store (Dania, Fl) for the last 11 years and it always has been very good. The products, the store but most importantly, the sales associates are high quality, knowledgeable and helpful. Recently I was interacting with the technician who works in the store and the experience was just fantastic. Michael Farrada helped with my two dive computers that broke together going the extra mile and calling the manufacturers and the dealers of both computers which were from a different brand and forced him to make several calls to different people. He got everything arranged and in less than a month both computers were fixed and returned to me. I really appreciate all his efforts and wish that all my repair experiences were like this one.

Ran into the store to get a mask and snorkel for my daughter but ended up staying for over an hour learning and getting recommendations from the staff. The selection of brands and options was incredible. Everyone was so helpful and genuinely interested in making sure we got what we needed for our snorkeling trip.Beyond getting the right mask and snorkel fitted properly to her face, my daughter found accessories including a swim shirt/rash guard, sandals and two bracelets that benefitted ocean cleanup and other charities. Very cool to see that Divers Direct is engaged are all levels!I also picked up a GoPro for the trip with the right accessory pack for snorkeling and diving. The prices were the same or better most retail locations. I was so pleasantly surprised with my first trip to the shop. It won’t be the last!

Nice facility. Employees are very nice except Hal. Avoid him at all costs. I came for a Nitrox refill and he found so many objections and issues to look up my certifications that it will be extremely unlikely that I will never return here. Brittany in exchange was extremely nice and helpful. Plenty of places where to go without being treated poorly.

Had only good experiences here so far, wouldnt rate it 5* but 4.5 if I could. Today we met a very friendly and helpful employee, so 5* it is. As for prices, its not cheap but sometimes you can get some nice sales there.

I’m a PADI OWSI from Texas and always wanted to visit this store. Finally had the opportunity yesterday and was not disappointed. From the moment you walk in, the employees here welcome you and are genuinely concerned about helping you. I was asked by at least 3 associates if I needed help as I explored all areas of this diver’s “candy” store. Eventually I was helped by Cyndi, as I simply wanted to purchase some snorkeling gear to use over the holidays. She not only helped me find the right fit, but also recommended a great dive shop! I can not more highly recommend Divers Direct if your remotely interested in water sports of all kinds. Thank you!

I was in here just a short while ago. My intention was to buy a relatively cheap dive computer, instead I ended up buying an entire SCUBA package because it made financial sense over buying some individual components I had planned to purchase over the coming months. I had one of the BEST customer service experiences of my life which is what really convinced me to make the purchase. Rakim was an incredible, he provided mountains of information and helped me make an informed decision. He honestly didn’t try to sell me anything, he just provided information and the products sold themselves. I would hands down spend more money to get this level of customer service regularly, but I got it and spent even LESS money.

My second visit to divers direct in Fort Lauderdale. Came in for fins and brought along my new dive booties-also from here. Salesman noticed they were not quite snug enough and had me try on a smaller size. I had already used them once, but they stand by their recommendations and merchandise so they just exchanged them for me. My fins were a great purchase. Easy on my knees as promised. Just used them today with the booties and everything felt very comfortable.

We found a very good selection of equipment in the store and helpful and knowledgeable staff. Even though we didnt take the BCD, octopus, regulator package that was on sale, the store did put together a deal for us based on the components we wanted. Staff really us make the best choices for novices divers. All in all a good experience would go back and shop there.

I am a long-time customer of Divers Direct KeyLargo, but we moved to Delray Beach. I am sorry your Riviera Beach store is closed; it would have been closer to me, and easier to find. Not only is Dania Beach distant, it is impossible to find. My Waze had me driving in circles.But JL from Key Largo referred me to Ralph Viscuzzi in Dania Beach, and Ralph and Grant and the store are all perfect for me.

I usually go the their store in Key Largo, this is my first trip to this location. I have diving in the keys, Catalina island and Fiji all within the next couple of months and am going to buy two full sets of gear and computers. My son and I were the only customers in the store today, walked through every isle before leaving and not one word was said to us and there were about five or six employees standing around. Im seeing several other reviews complaining about customer service so if youre wanting a friendly personable experience my suggestion would be to try one of the MANY other knowledgeable dive shops in the area. Also they have Scubapro brand equipment on their website but not one logo I saw in the entire store.

This store has the nicest most friend staff. Quick to assist you and polite. Great to purchase Yeti gifts and all your surface and water sports (not just diving). They even have classes from diving to photography (i am waiting for paddle boarding class).

The Fort Lauderdale store was kind enough to hold an item for me which was not in stock at the store I was shopping in. Upon arrival at the Ft Lauderdale store the gentleman i worked with retrieved what I cam to purchase, checked it out, helped my wife with a couple other items and did everything one would expect to see I was treated kindly.

Huge place! Service was a bit slow and not many staff around. Very good selection of items at what seemed reasonable prices. We had our tanks filled there (max 32% nitrox) daily for a weeks worth of diving nearby. Easy to deal with when paying up front. Worth a stop.

Our first time visit to Divers direct. Gentlemen helped my wife fitted with her wet suit.For a first time trying to fit was challenging but she made 4 different try to pick up perfect fit suit. Gentlemen who helped us was very patient with us. Great service.

These people were wonderful. We were in a big rush and they helped us select what we needed so that we could get finished quickly. Then, they even delivered the scuba tanks we bought to our boat, saving us several hundred dollars in rental car charges and time. Can’t say enough nice things about them.

Just needed some snorkeling gear so I thought I would give it a try. Great store, incredible selection, friendly service, reasonable prices, this particular store is easy to spot from the highway, but a bit of a pain to actually get to, not a big deal though. I would recommend checking it out or one of their other locations. You wont be disappointed.

When I walked in the store today, there were 4 people standing at and very near to the counter (within 10’). Not one person acknowledged my presence. They weren’t helping any customers nor were they talking amongst themselves...just standing there, looking around, leaning on the counter, as if gravity was not going to do its job. I had a question but I didn’t bother to ask since they obviously weren’t interested in helping the customer. I walked over to the snorkels, looked around, sat down and did a google search, then walked around them some more. An employee was walking by and I had to stop them to ask for the specific one I was looking for. No customer service; very disappointed.
