As a long time home owner in South FL I am painfully aware of how difficult it is to find professional, trustworthy, and reliable home improvement contractors/companies. This is especially the case if your project is on the smaller side and likely not deemed as profitable as a larger one. This was the opposite of my experience with US Brick & Block Systems. From the first interaction with Brandon, my project manager, to the last, the experience has been nothing but prompt, professional, and super reliable.I had a 200 sq foot corner in my backyard pool area that I wanted paved and after calling a few companies (one of whom sent out a rep, gave me a high quote, and then ghosted me despite me agreeing to their price) I found US BBS and left my info. The next day Brandon called me and was super attentive and professional throughout the whole process which included assessing the site, then bringing samples to my home, walking me through all the options, and being on site for the entire install of the concrete pavers. Oh and their price I came in significantly lower than the previous quote from another paver company (Cricket Pavers). I 100% recommend this company without reservations and will definitely use them for any future projects without wasting my time calling around and getting quotes from less reliable competitors.Thanks again Brandon and US BBS!

This company put in an outdoor kitchen and pavers for the driveway and the backyard. Everything they did was done horribly and whenever we expressed concerns during the process, they blamed the people they hired and not once took responsibility for anything. I’ve attached pictures that I sent the owner and with a list of things they damaged or didn’t do as they promised. His response was that he thought the pictures looked great. I’m beside myself because we spent so much money and we have a brand new damaged fence because they leaned stacks of pavers on them, the countertop is cracking on all the edges except for almost half that we purchased separately that they kept. ( The salesperson posted her kitchen on their website with the same countertop, but I’m sure she had more than the 2 workers that was sent here and had them drag it to the backyard). The worst part is that they almost caught our kitchen and tiki on fire because they weren’t trained to install the griddle and didn’t do the safety checks. The driveway had to be done without a border because they improperly cut a lot of them. I just hope no one else ever has to go through what we did. We spent over $33,000 and will have to replace or fix everything that they did. 😢😢😢

This is our 2nd time using US Brick; the first to put in a brick paver driveway and side patio (which came out amazing) and most recently to expand the brick patio into the backyard. Once again, their workmanship was outstanding. To say the crew went above and beyond is an understatement. Example: They carefully moved the mulch from the area they were working on and relocated it in piles around the yard, in other mulched areas, to make it easy for us to spread. Seriously! With all the other hard work they had to do that day! We highly recommend US Brick and Block to anyone considering a project the company specializes in.

US Brick & Block is one of the most professional companies in South Florida. It has been five years since they renovated my pool and installed my travertine patio, and I couldnt be happier. Their craftsmanship skills were beyond breathtaking. Nothing is sinking, nothing is breaking or falling apart. Everything looks just as amazing as the day they finished. My installer even hand filed all the edges of my stairs just so the edges would be smooth if someone fell down. I was so impressed. Hiring them was the best investment I have made to improve and increase the value of my house. I 100% recommend them.

Wow! We visited the showroom and loved the model outdoor kitchens. US Brick & Block designed an amazing oasis for our backyard and while we picked one of the models, we think the final product came out even better than the showroom model. They helped us with picking out every detail (great job!) and kept us posted every step of the way. The staff, field supervisors and crew were all amazing! On time, on budget, exceeded expectations! We love it. All we get is compliments.

Our Community at Bay Colony contracted US Brick & Block to completely makeover and install new pavers onto the entire entrance of the neighborhood. It was a huge week long project of 15 hour days, removing and installing the new pavers, by the trailer load. The project manager Dominic and his crew were professional in all areas. They took extra care that the installation was orchestrated in order to maintain a busy traffic pattern while being respectful for the properties adjacent to the worksite. I would recommend them Highly.

I have used this company to redo my driveway and the results were spectacular. It was one of the best construction experiences I had in a long time. The workers were very skilled, they completed the job on time, the owner was very professional and the cost was reasonable. My project manager Steve was a great communicator which is hard to find in Florida. I would highly recommend this company

US Brick and Block cleaned and sealed our HOA community pavers. Our Walkways, pool deck, homeowner patios, front entry look like new. It was a costly project for our community, but with the recommendation of a gloss sealer, protecting our communities expensive asset will be protected for years. As the President of the HOA, I would highly recommend them to any community or single family homeowner. They’re level of professionalism was outstanding, and each employee I came in contact with over a few months, was polite, well spoken and incredibly courteous. They assisted in the planning, coordination and implementation of the plan for parking, traffic cones, caution tape etc. TOP NOTCH service....a job well done! Thank you!

I have used this company to redo my driveway with pavers just recently. It looks spectacular. The construction was fast and easy, my project manager was reliable and a great communicator, the sub-contractors did high quality work and paid attention to the details and the permit was closed fast. They also did a few little things for me and did not nickel and dime me for everything. Overall, it was one of the best construction experiences I have ever had.

Working with Jessica Linares in the U.S. Brick main office was also a terrific professional experience. Jessica was polite, professional and committed to provide timely service and responsiveness. My Project Manager, Andrew McAden was also very professional, punctual and determined to ensure my entire project went well and was completed on time. The actual brick paver crew managed by Alfredo was terrific. They handled all aspects of their paver installation process extremely well. Bottom line, I am very happy with all the professionals associated with U.S. Brick & Block, and would recommend them to anyone who wants to work with a great team of experienced professionals. Had to call a second time to schedule an appointment because after 2 days nobody had gotten back to me. Finally the guy came out to give me an estimate, that was 11 days ago and still havent recieved an estimate from them even after calling the office a 4 days ago. They told me someone would get right back to me, but still 11 days later nothing.

The professionals at US Brick & Block do not disappoint. From the first meeting until my driveway was extended and repaved to my back patio being put in, they were there every step of the way. The guided me with thoughtful recommendations and finished the job in timely fashion and exceeded my expectation. We have a brand new driveway and patio and are very happy with the work that they performed. I would recommend them to anyone who wants to have the job done right!

Absolutely the worst home experience we have ever had. First installation they used faulty materials and then they came back and replaced them with new materials laying them poorly without leveling the surface properly, crooked lines, and unsound footers. Poor management and job over site. Workers were on phones, littered property, and consumed alcohol on the job site. My job was huge and supposed to take a few weeks and they were there for months!

I cant recommend this company enough! From start to finish, they did everything I asked and more. I had my patio extended, layed travertine over the chattahoochee, an outdoor kitchen built and a tiki hut. I had a few unique ideas that the owner and his team were sure to accommodate. The quality of the products are A+. Installation was very smooth. The Project Managers make communication their priority no matter what time it is. No matter how small the job, Brick and Block makes sure each and every customer is their focus! You couldnt ask for better service.

Run of the mill paver company. Inventory selection was questionable - actual material varied considerably from display panels. Some brick was not even appropriate for paving (soft and crumbling). I changed my selection to a more durable brick when the time came to select for installation (+$$$).Crew foreman was difficult to work with and seemed like he was only interested in setting the pavers as fast as possible. They could have done a much better job.Also took months of calls to get them th finish necessary cleanup on-site. Lots of problems caused by casual supervision of work crews.OK This is a reply to the response that the owner just posted..... Seems like they are taking a typical stance, if they dont like the review, post a rebuttal that is a lie. A representative from their office, marketing I think, called and spoke to me at length after this review was posted, asking if there was ANYTHING they could do to have me revisit my posted comments. They didnt actually offer monetary compensation to change the review, but it was implied. I respectfully declined, saying that I did not post anything that was deceptive or untrue.>It is true there was a previous contractor that bailed from this job; he started and then never returned. 90 days later he said he wasnt going to do any more work and would not return the +/-$5000 I had paid for a materials deposit. Broward Concrete / Eddie Morales. Go find the review.>This job was contracted with USB knowing the details and they also added a fee for clearing debris remaining onsite.>When the crew arrives the supervisor (Andrew) described the scope of work to the crew and foreman, adding that debris and rock remained and, if not used for final grading and compaction, had to be removed. I specifically heard the foreman (Junior) reply: No. Not my job. More on that below.>The first batch of bricks delivered were of poor quality and I declined the load. The salesman, Jim, and I searched through the inventory for alternatives because the delivered bricks did not match the sample / were brittle and crumbling & of inferior quality. The batch had excessive amounts of silica (sand) in the clay mix and were underfired, meaning not completely vitrified. Jim and I spent over 2 hours searching the inventory for suitable bricks in sufficient quantity to install on my site. In the end I was told there would be an upcharge for the selected material and agreed without argument.> When the bricks were delivered, the crew quickly laid then out in the specified pattern, and as I was present, we made edge corrections where necessary.>There was still considerable debris left onsite around the installation, and I repeatedly asked to have it removed, as was in the contract. Never happened. I held back sufficient $$ from my final payment to try to have the crew do what was contracted. On examination, there was also a large amount of rock debris present (hidden) that had been buried along the exterior edge of the installation... creating a n extensive area that would never be able to be planted.>Months went by before I was contacted by USB to make a final payment to complete the contract agreement. I firmly replied that I would agree to pay off the remainder when contracted work was completed and only when completed to my satisfaction. The manager (?) - the guy who seemed to be in charge - met with me on site and in actually looking at the conditions for the first time, agreed to remove all the excess rock and remaining debris. I paid them immediately when the crew was finished.>>> I did not cheat them, I did not argue about their upcharges and fee for a few additions I requested. The initial contract wasnt questioned on cost. As they said, yes, I had a previous career as a Landscape Architect and therefore knew costs / projections / extensions / services. It seems like they had a problem working with someone who had a sufficient knowledge to review / inspect / make judgments on work and materials.>>> USB posted their response because they couldnt coerce me to change my review.

These guys are not considerate of their workers. My father worked 4 weeks and never got paid. Bad business with these people.

Took forever to get an estimate. When they finally responded the estimate was extremely high, not itemized. Basically it will cost this much.Terrible experience.
