I’ve only been there twice and yes they have very good cuts of meat and products etc. I’m giving two stars for that reason. In my two experiences the first time I didn’t really know where certain vegetables were and asked they seemed frustrated to help me and the second time they were out of some meat and offered to cut me the amount the person I was buying for asked for at first it was ok but when I told the person I was getting the item for they wanted a half pound removed. Long story short I asked and they were very upset I asked to have the meat trimmed. If it was for me I would have said ok and bought it, but it wasn’t. I know it’s not ideal to do as well I worked on deli’s and other places similar for many years in the past. But if I acted that way to a customer I would be talked to about it. I will probably shy away from going there in the future.

A lot going on in this store! Deli, prepped foods, great meat section and produce options and beer & wine.

Marinated steak is good most of time, but prices are high and the steak doesnt always turn out well, sometimes its tough or fatty

The employees are extremely nice. The precooked meals are very delicious. The deli has a great variety of lunch meats and homemade food. The meats are amazing.

The Butcher Shop has great quality cuts. Sometimes you can find some incredible deals there. I make my own bacon from scratch sometimes and they are able to get Whole pork bellies and other special cuts of meat if you ask.

Great local market. Prices competitive with bigger chains, butcher, baked goods, prepared food, wine. A lot packed into a well organized bright clean space. Park in the adjacent free lot, as parking right next to the market can be a little tight.

Delicious meats and pre prepped pastas at great prices

Love this place. The manager on duty was so nice. I called looking for fresh Cod and he answered the phone when he wasnt even in the store. He gave me a call back when he found out that it already arrived and that I could go down and get it. I love their fresh fish and their marinated steak and chicken is amazing. The staff is always so nice.

Sunday got a spoon roast. excellent lived up to its name I could cut it with a fork or spoon. Today picked up haddock and as fresh as could be plus hamberg to pack away. Friendlier service people u could not ask for.

Claim to have over 100 different marinated meats, maybe 5... no brisket, pork shoulder/butt, no beef ribs, no flank. I get limited availability but I went here in a pinch to be quick. Had NOTHING I was looking for. Only difference is this upscale grocery store is cheaper than my normal butcher shop but still more than regular grocery store.

Always excited when we shop here. The meats are delicious and we also like the other food niceties that are available. The staff are always friendly, professional and helpful.

They have a wonderful selection of meats. I would of given them 5 stars but when I parked in the handicap space, the person outside who tells you if you can go in due to the COVID-19 didnt tell me that I could go in the store & didnt have to wait in line.

Through these pandemic times, I would like to thank McKinnons for being there. I have shopped at Market Basket and by far McKinnons has the largest meat selection.Their groceries have been best as possible given the situation. I am a town resident who wants to thank McKinnon;s employees for being essential workers and working everyday to feed our community!Everyone should be happy to have a great store in their community.

Love McKinnons, they have a great selection of meats and there prices are very reasonable. I usually frequent the one in Everett and Salem, NH. I decided to go to the one in Danvers since it is very close to me. The meat was great, price actually a little higher than the others. Not sure if that is due to location. There fruit and veggies HORRIBLE!! All the fruit was packaged by them in those shrink wrapped packages like how meat is packaged. When I got home almost every piece of fruit was rotten on the underside. The bag of potato and oranges I purchased over half was rotted by the next day.If your looking for great meat I highly suggest it but I would suggest going to there large store in Salem NH or visiting Everett location.

Love the steak and pork tips here. Did not love the blue piece of plastic in their potato salad. There is no blue on the package so I have no idea how that happened. Someone is slacking there. I brought this to a cookout. I am not happy. Will NEVER buy any of the dishes they prepare anymore and I highly recommend you dont either . Unless you dont mind mystery plastic in your food.

McKinnons Markets. A small, convenient store, specializing in top notch meat. Really good deli. Helpful, courteous staff. Only downside is smaller offering of different brands because of space limitations.

Our go to place for steak tips! They are delicious. However, we tried the chicken tonight for the first time and we were very disappointed. It tasted rubbery.

McKinnons is a staple in the area with a wide variety of meat.Who has not had their tips at a summer cookout. Plenty of other food to go with you meat. Plenty of friendly people to help as well. I only wish they would not nearly double their price per pound on meat right before the holidays. My last time buying a roast but I will buy tips.

I do like this place and their steak tips are fantastic. They ate a bit more expensive because they are a local market, it is to be expected. Although their sales are good.My major complaint was when my five year old had to use the bathroom while shopping here and they refused to let her. Not only did we have to leave everything behind that day, but we won’t be going back. Not sure why they act like a family store and then treat you like that. The manager did apologize however and that goes far to me. I understand the policy, but anyone who has had a 5 year old girl yelling that she needs to go peepee knows that policies need to go out the window.

The best little old-school Market youll ever find on the North Shore. Plenty of parking and youre in and out. Great friendly knowledgeable staff and youre getting what you pay for.

I feel like Im robbing the place evertiime I go in. Most small markets are waaaay over priced, this one very reasonable. The prepackaged meals and appetizers are phenomenal. If you dont feel like cooking and want a good meal to bring home to heat up it is perfect. If your hosting a party or want football Sunday appetizers, its never disappointed!

Was in Sunday 08 26 2018 after dreaming of a nice steak all day at the beach bought a $16.00 bone in ribeye grilled to perfection and was disappointed with the flavor just didnt have that flavor I was looking for potato salad was delicious

I have to agree, the self check out turned that store into a complete mess. 5:00 this evening, the parking lot is packed and no one can get out of the store. people were funneling out of the iles with no place to go. I threw my stuff on a rack and walked out with no intentions of returning.
