Salesman Jamie, business manager Rachel, and managers Bruce, Michelle and Emilio treated me so well. I returned a 2018 Volvo S90 lease and leased a 2022 Volvo S90. I loved the 2018 but the 2022 has a superior ride quality. If you drive a Mercedes S class or a Genesis G90 you should take a ride in the 2022 Volvo S90 luxury sedan; its amazing!

Picked up my car on Tuesday, in which the car was supposedly detailed. It was not. It was actually quite disgusting when pulling down the sunvisor on the drivers side. Beyond that, the sales rep wasnt there when I picked up the car, so I had some rando pair my phone to the car, but couldnt even activate my Volvo Cars app. There are several things that I have had to Google or go to YouTube to figure out. I am also bothered that many of my questions were ignored by the sales person and they didn’t “fight for my business”. No pricing incentive. Completely misrepresented what the interest rate would be when I mentioned how much I was willing to pay / month. Glad to know someone profited off of my misfortune. Not at all how someone wants to feel when they fork over tens of thousands of dollars. Will share on Google, Yelp and social media.

Buying a car can be tricky and not always a pleasant endeavor. My experience over the past two days at Volvo Danvers was neither tricky nor unpleasant. I worked with Jamie Vengren and he was great. I told him what we was looking for, what we wanted to spend a month and what we had for a deposit. He delivered on all three with calmness, class and charm. I am a director of sales and pride myself on providing detailed information, great customer service and ROI. Jamie provided all and I would strongly recommend working with him, Michelle, Rachel and the team at Volvo Danvers. Great environment at the shop, not pushy, not slick and Jamie is truly nice and trustworthy man. I went to this dealer having already looked online and being interested in a particular car. It was super quick and easy to get someone to help me and allow me to test drive. From there I worked with Crew who was great throughout the entire process. He was able to work with me to get within my price range and we got the deal done swiftly. The car was then ready for me to pickup 24 hours later which was even better. Overall a great experience and would recommend this dealer and specifically Crew to anyone interested in shopping there.

I purchased a low mileage XC-90 3 years (not from this dealership) from a Volvo dealership that closed. Amongst several quality issues I have had with that car (they have terrible reliability ratings I have subsequently learned), the AC never really worked and soon became non-existent. I tried multiple times to get it fixed at this dealership and never even got to the point where the issue was diagnosed, let alone fixed. One time a tech told me there was nothing wrong with it. As its the only Volvo dealer remotely close to me I just tried to give it one more shot, the answer $325 to refill the AC, then they diagnose (maybe, although no guarantees and their track record is poor,) then they fix, which may or may not be covered under our extended warranty.I know there millions of very happy Volvo drivers out there, but if you get a bad car (review their reliability ratings before buying) you can get stuck in an expensive time consuming death spiral of bad service and no fixes.This has been hands down the worst car ownership experience I have ever had and I HATE dealing with this particular dealership.

Second time I have been disappointed with the service at Volvo Danvers. Took in our XC90 for a 50k service. When I went to pick up the vehicle I paid and went to my vehicle to find the check engine light was on. The vehicle did not come in or has had a check engine light in the entire ownership. I went back in to ask and the service advisor rudely said to make another appointment and to pay the diagnosis if I wanted to find out why the light was on. This was not mentioned on the phone or I would have left the vehicle for them to check it. It would have been at least okay to give me a clue on what code I had. When I got home I found oil all over the cover and when lifted there was dried oil around the coil. The code was for a misfire. Would not recommend this Volvo dealership for service. Use the Volvo Herb chambers if you want profesional service.

Jazz was phenomenal in the the purchasing process. He worked with me and my budget. Not pushy at all. It was a friendly atmosphere even during the pandemic... I even named my new car Jazz!

After about a week of looking around at dealer inventory in the North-East in late May 2021 I found a brand new XC40 in the color I wanted around 100 miles from where I live. Given the distance and the price the vehicle was being offered for I decided on a whim to check out Volvo Village Danvers, which is closer to where I live, to see whether they could give me a better deal on one of the XC40s they had in stock.What I appreciated most about Volvo Village Danvers was that soon after explaining what it was that I was looking for Michelle eliminated the tedious back-and-forth negotiation I was fearful of, having little negotiating experience, and simply provided me a far better price than I had found at any other dealership in my area and far less than I had expected to pay. Although I initially intended to purchase one of the XC40s that Volvo Village Danvers had in stock with a different color from the color I really wanted Michelle, knowing I had my heart set on a specific color, searched the dealership’s anticipated deliveries finding an XC40 set to arrive with the exact color I wanted in a few weeks, which I promptly reserved, making me even more pleased with my experience.After working out the price and details with Michelle I was handed over to David who handled the rest of my purchase. David informed me as soon as my car had arrived at the dealership and was extremely helpful in answering all the questions I had both before and after its arrival. Once my XC40 received all the updates and work it needed David drove it up to me despite the fact that it was usually his day off. After receiving and registering the vehicle David did an excellent job showing me all of its features making me feel much more at ease driving it. While working with David I found him always to be engaging, in good spirits and eager to make my first new vehicle purchasing experience as pleasant as possible.

I recently had my Volvo in for service for some small items. Unfortunately while the car was there it got damaged. I am so impressed with how they handled the entire situation. Accidents happen. The service manager called me up and told me what had happened he and I looked at the car and he assured me it would be as good as new. I am a very picky person when it comes to body work and I can say he did not lie. I was more than happy with the repair that they did. They can be busy but they have great techs and the repairs that I have had done by them have all been good and I do not have to go back. I guess maybe they could use a larger parking lot? ;-)

While I had been a customer of their service department for several years, this was our first new car purchase from them. Overall the process was smooth and efficient – this dealership was a pleasure to do business with.Upon arrival we were greeted by Inventory Manager Alfonso Romano, who suggested a 25-mile route for a test drive. That trip enabled us to get a great feel for the cars ride and performance under all conditions. Our salesperson, Urbain Michodigni, was informative and low-key. At no time were we under any pressure to buy (which is how it should be).The deal itself was easily transacted, including some end-of-year incentives and discounts, plus a fair trade-in price for our old car. The actual delivery took about 30 minutes, as quick as could be expected. Very pleased with our purchase and would do business with this dealership again.

I was about to purchase a S90 from a dealer much closer to my house but the car only came with one key. I called Volvo Danvers to price a new key. They lady who answered the phone was so nice and helpful, I asked to speak to sales instead of the parts department. Turned out they had the exact model I wanted in stock. I went that day and test drove. I met Emilio and Yas. They were so great to work with. They gave me what I wanted for my trade in. The whole experience was so pleasant and easy. Yas handled the entire after sale (registration, etc.). I feel I made a friend in Yas, not just somebody I bought a car from. I drove my new Volvo home the day after purchasing. The next time I am in the market for a car, I will not buy from anywhere but Volvo Danvers. The entire experience dramatically exceeded my expectations of what a car buying process should be. I did my carss 12K maintenance and changed the tires. There is no any illustration or report about my cars mechanical status after service. The only thing I am told from their technician is to change my tires in which I spent $1400. The technician didnt even ask which tire I prefer to use.!!!!!!The store looks fancy, they have fancy picking up service (helped me book Lyft). However, they are not professional and responsible in the car service itself. Any Auto store in street will have better and cheaper car service than Volvo Danvers!!!!!!!!!

After shopping around for several weeks looking for a VW Tiguan at VW dealers, I found a Tiguan at village Volvo that fit the criteria of what I was looking for. I emailed the dealership and easily set up an appointment, they also gave me a quote ESTIMATE for my trade via email which was great to have an idea before going in. My husband and I went in, test drove the Tiguan, got the numbers to where we needed within a matter of minutes, signed papers and left with the Tiguan in under two hours. It was a really great experience, buying a car is usually a dreadful process and over the course of the weeks leading up to my experience at village I visited severalDealerships that were filled with your typical sales people giving me low ball quotes for my trade in and trying to sell me an overpriced vehicle. I would absolutely recommend Village Volvo, even if your not looking for a Volvo check out their used inventory, truly a headache free experience.

Prices are not negotiable so dont waste your time trying to get deals at the dealership. This is how short sited people wont have jobs in the future. Future is here and looks something like Carvana.

Leased a 2019 XC90 T6 from Village Volvo of Danvers. Our plan was to lease then purchase at the end of the lease. We had full confidence in the reliability of Volvo vehicles. We first experienced a check engine light a year into the lease. Turned out to be a evaporation line. They replaced, but then six months later the check engine light came on again. Same problem, an evaporation line again. Along with the check engine light, our entire sound system made loud static/clicking noises instead of music or turn signal sounds. This lasted two days and then with a software update, it went away and they replaced the evaporation line a second time. At this point we were concerned about the issues with the car and were having reservations about purchasing at the end of the lease. Six months later the check engine light came on again! Turned out to be the same problem with the evaporation line, but head of service decided to confirm this issue and was concerned it was the third time it happened. They ended up replacing the entire filler neck. Head of service specifically said that this should not happen again and if it does we are going to get you into a new car, this shouldnt happen! He also stated, Im concerned that if this happens again the car may shut down and leave you and your family stranded. Service was great and I appreciate that they cared and restored some confidence in the vehicle, but now we were interested into getting out of the lease. I contacted Bruce in leasing with our concerns and over two months, he kept promising to get us out of the lease and/or try to resolve the issues. The only things we experienced from Bruce were empty promises, weeks of never calling us back and constantly trying to chase him down. We felt like he avoided us and never really wanted to help us with our car issues. The three times we did talk he tried to explain that we had to pay thousands of dollars to get out of the lease. I explained to Bruce that we leased this car with the intent to buy because it was a safe reliable car. We did love the car, but with all the mechanical and electrical problems we had, we wanted to start fresh and either get into a new lease or have them extend the warranty and run the car through service for a full checkup to back their product. Bruce stated, you want us to just give you a free warranty! We cant do that, thats thousands of dollars, wed lose money. If you dont like the car that just get rid of it. At that point a was extremely frustrated and felt Bruce just lies and tried to get more money out of us. Ultimately, he just yelled into the phone at me and I hung up. Bruce never cared about helping us out, even when I explained that it was Volvos car that had the issues at no fault of ours. We have kept up with all service appts. and the problems we experienced were because the car was built with poor or faulty parts. Recently, our electrical system went wild. Sound system started clicking again instead of hearing the radio and our tailgate would open and close for two days straight. We woke up one morning to the tailgate open and my wife watched the tailgate of the car open and close in the parking lot at work. At this point we feel helpless because we were told to contact Tony Benoloti, we left two messages and heard nothing back. We called Volvos headquarters and are in the process of filing a complaint. We will follow up on the result from our corporate complaint to see if anything good comes out of this, but thanks to Bruce my faith in Volvo as a reliable and safe car company are gone. Just another sale!$$

Very disappointed. Inquired about a vehicle on line, was contacted 2 days later to make sure my questions were answered, explained no one had contacted me until now :( I got an apology and was told the vehicle was still available this being at 5:00 pm on Thursday. I then changed some plans i had, changed my work schedule to be able to go test drive the car. I was then notified the next morning it had been already sold. I called the dealership to explain why i was upset to only get a Very Disrespectful e-mail from the General manager stating i had contacted them earlier it would have had a better opportunity to buy it :( :( ...Now keep in mind this is the same person whom told me it was Available just the night before....Terrible Customer Service, very disrespectful...Wish they knew the definition of Integrity....

When I arrived to drop off my car, I was told the service would take one and a half hours. I chose to wait for my vehicle so I went across the street to do some shopping and I hurried back so that I could get my car back on time without having them wait for me. HOWEVER, my vehicle took THREE HOURS instead. While I understand that things come up with service that require more time, I WAS NEVER GIVEN A COURTESY that is was going to take longer than expected. Also, the charge for labor was astronomical and not what I was expecting at all.

Several weeks ago I purchased my Volvo V60 and I love it! My deceased husband always did the car buying and after his death my daughter went with me to purchase my first Volvo. This time I went by myself and spoke with Rachel. She was wonderful - never made me feel dumb - answering all my questions and working with me to get the best price for my old Volvo. She was never intimidating and made it a positive experience. Five stars. On the other hand - when I had to go with the business manager he was very intimidating and made it difficult to say no to extra, very expensive warranties.

Bought my car here in 2017 and have had it serviced here since. When I bought my car I was literally ignored on the sales floor for a good 20 minutes until we went and got the GM who then had someone from next door dealership help us (so imagine how much that sales person knew about the car?). Admittedly, it was a busy day for them so all the sales folks were helping others but zero acknowledgment. Since purchasing, I agree about the hit or miss with expectations of service. Calls do go unanswered to the service department, so you have to call back typically to get answers. When I first had my car, there was an issue and after multiple trips to the dealership they finally figured out what it was. I do believe in my situation I had a brand new model and the service group didnt understand everything involved with the technology but they did figure it out. Couple of little things but they do make an impression; The service check in area typically smells of cigarette smoke. they do have a small waiting area with bagels, coffee, water and some stuff for the kids to do. they are fantastic about loaner cars. All in, once you get in to service, you are good. I will say we have other cars and go to those dealerships for service and we do receive better service at a Honda dealership and also way above personal service at a Mercedes dealership. I did expect the service for Volvo to be closer to what we get with Mercedes but it is not. Oh, also, they call you a couple of times AFTER you get service to find out how it went. Not kidding..I had to call you multiple times to GET into service but a hot second after I leave, you are calling me to find out how it went. Maybe they can use the $$ for the after service calls to ensure that I have a good experience on getting into service.

Inexperienced and unmotivated salesperson who actually made up answers to avoid looking up the vehicle details. “Are heated steering wheels standard since I don’t see them in the car description?” I asked. He replied, “oh yes, they are standard”. I looked it up when I got home, untrue. He took me for a test drive in a model that was not what I was interested in, and then insisted on pricing that car because “you said you like this car, right? Manager was entrusted with giving me estimate of trade in, I waited with salesman for 20 minutes before getting up to leave, frustrated with the wait. We stopped by manager’s desk on way out. “Oh sorry, I was on the phone and just forgot about it. Not your salesman’s fault, don’t blame him”. I didn’t, but won’t be returning to this unprofessional dealership. Even little things weren’t good -the salesman ‘s “desk”was so small I couldn’t really view the computer screen without sitting uncomfortably close to the salesman and the basic wooden chairs were not made to sit in for the length of time I was there. Ironically I am interested in purchasing a Volvo, so have made an appointment with another dealer! hope this poor treatment didn’t arise because I was a woman shopping without my husband.

The Volvo Village dealership has the worst service ever. I bought a Toyota Camry lately and there was something wrong with the front wheel, i hear a noise when i turned the steering wheel. I took the car twice so far to the service and they told me that they fixed the problem but they didnt and now i have to take it back again. I just hope they know what they are doing. I had a horrible experience with this location!!! They are bullies and they have terrible customer service!I paid approximately $7000 to get my car fixed after a diagnosis. They did not give me a detailed copy of my diagnosis, Jeff said some parts was fried and after they fixed it my car would have been all sets.First they ask for 2000$. They kept my car for 2 months without any open communication. When the car was ready for pick up and I was ready to pay, Jeff raised the price from $2000 to $3800. When I ask why it was the price was raised without my consent they did not have a valid answer. called corporate while on the phone with corporate they asked us to leave and they called the police. Thankfully many of the customers had to speak up for my husband and I.I decided to pay the money after all and two days later the car shut down on me. I had to pay an additional $1500 they kept my car for 3-4 months. After I got my car back a month later they charged 1000$ on my card unauthorized. I called for why they charged my card they said “well if you don’t have a receipt I can’t help you” the person yelled at me on the phone when I told them I don’t have a receipt it’s just showing on my bank. They hung up one me several time. I called corporate and they advised to report it as a fraud. And oh did I mentioned after all of that not even a month yet the engine light turn back on. They do not deserve to have 1 star!!!

What a great experience! Rich Hamel was so informative, so helpful, so kind, so personable, and so fair. Every part of this process has been enjoyable and I cannot recommend this dealer high enough. I got a great trade-in value, a great price on the car and really feel great about the purchase. My Thule roofbox was broken while my vehicle was being serviced, and unfortunately I didn’t notice it until a day after picking up my vehicle. The lady in the service office admitted this has happened before and they would talk to the owner and call me back. They never returned my call, and when I called back The Service Manager told me it’s not their responsibility and isn’t going to pay for the $500 in damage. I do not recommend taking your car to a dishonest, lying dealer thy doesn’t take responsibility for the damage they cause.

Driton at Volvo Village assisted me in the purchase of a new vehicle. He was extremely easy to get a hold of and an excellent salesman. From the second I walked into the dealership to the test drive, negotiating, and final purchase - the care was excellent. He communicated with me all hours of the day as we went through the process. He drives over an hour every day to work at this dealership because of the people - that should tell you that this is the place to buy a car!!!

For a dealer so far so good. Ive been happy with the service so far. They are pricey as most dealer service is but good at talking to someone that knows something about cars. The sales floor hasnt grown up past the let me introduce you to my manager which was a bummer because we liked the sales guy who read is correctly to back off and let us ask questions and not push us which the manager missed.

The problem has not resolved. After the tire pressure was checked on all 4 tires, I was told the tire pressure service required light would reset and go off after driving 13-17 miles, turning car off and restarting. The notice is still showing on my dashboard. This notice does not say pressure is low; it says service is required of the system. So, what is next? No one looked into this further.

Very quick efficient and effective. We had to replace a totaled car expeditiously and after our first test drive with Ron S. we ended up leaning heavily towards a Volvo. We compared other cars but the safety features and family conveniences of the Volvo XC90 won us over. When it came time to negotiate Danvers quickly met and exceeded the other offers we had out on similar cars. Lastly they were very accommodating to our specific needs as we had to juggle logistics of insurance payouts and checks, etc. The car was ready when promised and we were able to drive it off the lot in record time.

My husband and I are new to the area and did not have a service dealer for our Volvo. We were at Liberty Tree Mall when our engine coolant message came up. We drove over to the dealer and they looked at it immediately and topped off our engine coolant. The person who helped us was beyond professional and helpful. About a month ago I tried to call and make a service appointment at approximately 11am on a normal week day and no one answered the phone. Left a message with Chris and never heard back. I called 128 Volvo and got prompt service. Im certainly not going to chase the dealer to give them my business. Will certainly not be returning here ever again.

Extremely disappointed in the service department. I have been a long-term customer, and recently brought my Volvo in for a low tire pressure warning. We visited on three separate occasions without any resolution to the issue, and a bill for over $250. I ended up bringing it to Albrecht Autoland and they fixed the problem on the first try. I went to speak to the service manager of Volvo Village and was told he didn’t have time to speak with me. Left all the information and expected a phone call, but after five days no call came.

I wish there was a 0 star option. Send a car over there for repairs, called ahead for an exact quate - I only needed one specific thing for the car. They gave me a quote so I send the car over there. 2 days go by, i call to ask if the car is ready, they say yes, and its 5 times the original amount. 5 TIMES HIGHER THAN THE ORIGINAL QUOTE. I asked the lady way, she told me its because I DIDNT CALL THEM. Yes, that just happen. I told her I will not be paying it, so she put me on hold for 5 min, and cut the invoice in half, to make it only double the original amount. And than she said, bring cash, cash only. SOMETHING IS SERIOUSLY WRONG WITH THIS PLACE. THEY NEED TO CHECK THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT.

The biggest compliment I can give Volvo Village regarding the experience is related to the lack of surprises. Every time Ive bought a car, a surprise has come up (usually during financials) or at some point something they promised didnt pan out. I was waiting for it but it never came. This really means something to me. What we agreed upon is what happened.Also, my wife managed to get salesman Vadim Kelly to refer to the V60 as cute, and I strongly recommend it.

Mr Chris at the services customer service line was rude, and cut my phone call saying that the nicer lady had been waiting for him for a long time. He inspected my car wrongly, and wanted to charge me for the service that was under the warranty to start with. I dont think Mr Chris should be allowed to talk to any customer in this poverty-stricken manner!

Since they opened, this branch of Volvo Village has struggled to provide consistently solid customer service. The phone at the Service desk frequently goes unanswered and calls arent returned. I continued going here for several years because I wanted my car worked on by experienced Volvo technicians. Over the past year though the issues have become more concerning. I have repeatedly had the Volvo technicians tell me my car has major safety issues that other mechanics say simply are not urgent or dont exist at all. It feels like they look to squeeze as much money as they can out of customers. There are plenty of trustworthy mechanics on the north shore who are experienced with Volvos. Save your time, money and aggravation and find a better place to go.

I recently bought a pre owned 2016 XC 70 from Volvo Village in Danvers. Everyone I dealt there were friendly and courteous. Tim Page, for a young guy was wise beyond his years. He spent time showing me how everything worked and was a great help to me. Other people I met there including Leo in Finance, Seth and Pierre in Service, and Eric a mechanic, treated me like a valued customer. My car did have two small problems which were taken care of immediately with no hassle at all. For that I thank the Service Dept. All in all, dealing with Volvo Village has been a pleasant experience. I would recommend them to anyone and wish them good luck.

Worst service EVER!!! They did a 40,000 mile oil change... car has 6500 miles on it. Tried to charge me... Back for repeated items regarding software updates....treated me with such disrespect...just terrible. Contacting Volvo directly...I have had 6 Volvos in the last 15yrs...DONE!
