I didnt know we had a local Agway and just discovered it while walking through Danvers via the Rail Trail. This store has everything from garden & pet supplies to fishing and camping gear! Bought 8 chicks earlier in the spring and specifically asked what happens if one is a rooster. The girl at the register said it rarely happens, but if one is, you could simply return it. Guess what, one turned out to be a rooster. Called to return it and was told “oh no, we don’t take them back”. I told her that we were specifically told by the young girl working there that we could simply return any that turned out to be a rooster. She denied it and stated that the guarantee is only “90%”. Well, I bought 8 and 1 is a rooster, that’s less than 90% - so what exactly is the guarantee?

With everything going on we called ahead, the woman on the phone was very welcoming and invited us in, even though we were traveling as a family group with 3 young kids. When we got there Emma helped us. She was so knowledgeable and answered every one of my newbie questions with excellence, and also reassuring me of my worries. I feel confident I could rely on honest answers to any questions in the future. I only visited one section but my eyes wandered throughout and it looked like they had pretty much anything youd need for your home farm. Cant wait to go back!

Came here looking for t5 replacement bulbs for a seedling lamp and this place wants to charge me 39.99 per bulb i needed two. This is a huge rip off these are $24.95 each aT green harvest Hydroponics in peabody and I can get 4 of them off Amazon for 46.95. AGWAY IS A RIP OFF STAY AWAY! I CAN BY THE NEW LIGHT WITH BULBS for around $100! Do business somewhere else!

Awesome local establishment with great employees, prices and selections. I purchase my envi blocks there every year, stop in and say hi to double L (Lily) and stock up for all your garden, pet and firewood supplie.

All the canning supplies we needed. They prepared for the season. Staff is friendly and kind. Glad to have found this place this year. Will be going there every year from now on.

This store & these folks are AMAZING! They specially made fantastic quality turkey jackets for the super sweet heritage turkeys that I got there. Anything you could ever need is on a shelf, the staff can answer any crazy question and their guidance has been so beneficial. Staff are polite, helpful, and professional. I buy bait for fishing here because they have the best lively, minnows around. If your interested in raising chickens this is a good place for you as well. Farm tools,live stock, fishing equipment, and plenty more.

I went here today for the first time and loved it! I’ve been looking for a place that carries homestead/permaculture-type supplies and isn’t way far north, and this place was ideal. The owner was super friendly and helped me find what I needed. As a bonus, they also carry farm fresh chicken and duck eggs. Can’t wait to find a reason to go back!
