I’m moving to Danville and have been preparing the home over the last 2 years. I’ve purchased several things and had problems with purchasing the wrong blinds and and online purchase of $100 worth of light bulbs that we’re not as they should have been. The one person that was and has always been there to provide exemplary customer service is Karen. I believe originally She was at customer service desk or returns perhaps. Most recently, this weekend I had the issue with the Edison bulbs I had purchased online. The store didn’t have this brand but when I returned the defective ones Karen showed up(she now works in plumbing) and took care of the situation without hesitation.I can’t say how elated I was as I had just hung my new chandelier and did not want it to be short a lightbulb. She works in plumbing and didn’t have to go above and beyond but that’s what she does ! I wish other businesses could realize that as consumers it is important that they provide good CS as we have so many options rather than dealing with poor service. I will continue to shop Home Depot. Thank you Karen !

I really enjoyed my visit. Employees are helpful and also phone service was very quick I was able to place an order and pick it up with ease.

Employee got all puffed up when I pointed out the fact that people are using the lumber loading area as a parking spot. I guess if they feel it should be parking then they should get lines painted on the ground.

Home Depot is way better then Lowes and there employees will help u with what u are looking for way better then Lowes employees they wont even ask if u need help and cant even find no body to ask what u are looking for like they are hiding are something

Home Depot needs to come into the 21st century. No bathroom display to speak of. Went to look at shower doors and there was nothing to look at. Only boxes of glass doors. The people are nice and do try to help.

I bought $135.00 worth of flowers. Hanging baskets they all died. I watered and put miracle grow on them. The miracle grow potting soil I purchased was molded. Highly recommend going to Lowe’s for your plants and dirt. This store has not only poor quality products but poor customer service. The boy working in the garden center had no clue about the department he was working in. Don’t shop at this store is a big rip off

Bought $130 worth of paint supplies and flooring adhesive. The nomad working in paint dept. gave me one paint stick. I asked for a couple more and she pointed to a pack on the shelf and told me if I want extra I have to buy a pack. I’ll be going to lowes from now on you nomadic cheap skate.

Even though store has better prices than there main competitor, the service leaves a bit to be desired. I dont mind paying a bit more to be treated well.

Didnt have a furniture screw I needed, but Lowes did. Had to wait five minutes to get someone to help with a key. Should have gone to Lowes first.

BEWARE!!! Ordered materials for a deck. The materials were scheduled to be delivered Sat 5/15/21. We called numerous times throughout the day. We were initially told the order was attempted. That was impossible because we were home all day. No courtesy call. No notification that anyone had stopped by. Plus the order was just supposed to be dropped off. Then we were told the order was being filled. The order was in route. The order would arrive by 8pm. Nothing. ALL LIES. We had scheduled with a contractor to start the job Monday 5/17/21. Upon calling to see when the order would be delivered we were told Tuesday, 5/18/21. We explained we were scheduled with a contractor to start the work on 5/17/21. No one cared how their error inconvenienced us or would cost us more money. Spoke to the Manager still no resolve. The materials were delivered today. HD half wrapped the cement up. Poor customer service from order to delivery from HD. The sub contractor who delivered the material was delightful. That how this rating got a 1. I will never use this HD again.

Excellent service from beginning to end. Upon entering I asked a young woman at the desk if they had the product I was looking for and she looked it up and told me where it was. I didnt really know exactly what I wanted but another sales woman approached and helped me figure out what to get. The checkout person was equally friendly and polite. Even as I was walking out of the store another employee spoke to me. I am not used to that type of service and was very pleasantly surprised.

Store is very neat and clean. Not many employees around to ask for help though. Great selection.

Wanted to overcharge on a shower combo. When sign clearly showed a lesser combo price. They were charging by individual pieces.

This was one of the worst experiences Ive had at this store to date! Customer service has gone out the wondow. Tried talking to someone in appliances about a dishwasher and he couldnt stop texting long enough to give me an actual answer. Then the woman at shelf checkout was the rudest person I have ever encountered! Now I know why folks shop on line....

This Home Depot employs the trashiest, rudest, most incompetent employees Ive seen in any store Ive been in. The only time I use this location is when Lowes is out of something I need, and I dont have time to wait for an online order. I dont know who does the hiring here, but I do know theyre mentally disabled.

Place might as well change its name to Walmart.. never can find anyone to help you and if/when you do finally find someone they act like its the end of the world for asking them to do their job and help you with something.. have had the same horrible experience the past 3 time Ive been in the store.. will go to lowes or order online anything that I need from now on before stepping foot in home depot

Home depot is cheaper I find compared to Lowes in Danville for what we are looking for.Its usually our Go-to store.

Had to drive 1.5hrs there to pick up a chainsaw. From the moment I called to see if they had it in stock. Everyone was helpful and polite. Once I arrived at store item was ready to be picked up. As my wife and I was looking around. We were asked plenty of times if help was needed. Definitely not like the other store (Lowes) where they walk past you like youre not there.

Ive encountered rude staff and poor customer service the last few times I’ve been here, including (and almost exclusively from management). We used to shop here at least once a week but will be taking our business to Lowes from now on. Owner should make staff training more of a priority, since I’m clearly not the only one who’s experienced poor treatment at their location. Decency and respect goes a long way when you have a competitor right around the corner!

The Home Depot and Lowes are mostly the same to me. The only thing about Lowes that I like better is the Kobalt line of tools. Very reliable electric tools for the price.

I came into the store the morning of 3/6/20 to return a defective item. There were several circumstances, at my own doing, that made this anything but straightforward. I was helped by April and then also by Stephanie. Both of them were very patient and helpful with this process. They each went above and beyond to help me. I left being 100% satisfied with this experience.

Waited more than an hour for curbside pickup of two pesticides/insecticides. Finally had to go in the store and show them my order number.

It is almost always empty of people and employees no matter when you go so I am not sure how it stays open.

The store was clean and the staff was helpful and nice.

Got exactly what I went for, employee went on computer and told me exactly what idle it was on, very good service.

The place was clean, the staff was helpful, the aisles were wide, and the prices were what youd expect. They were out of stock of what I needed, but that is my only complaint.

I just started shopping HP more often this year, 2020, after applying a HP credit card. I have been a satisfied Lowes customers for several decades & still is. But I wanted to install a new hot water heater and saw on Lowes website they do not offer the Rheem brand, So I turned to HP & thought Ill let them also install the heater. What a huge mistake!!! The Rheem 20 gals heater cost $414 & a guy name Jacob said installation of this little water heater & his labor through Progressive Plumbers $1275!!!!! 😂I have to LAUGH to keep from saying some really UGLY words. Shame on Home Depot for providing its customers with Long Shark Services!!!!!! My Home Depot credit card is going in the garbage can.

Couldnt believe there would be a 35.00 shipping fee to Reidsville if I had ordered a snowman that you were out of stock. Over rated on shipping. Didnt order because of high shipping

Online order of one sheet of plywood and 10 1×6×8 was not ready 24 hours after placing, They let me pick it myself so my 45 minute trip wasnt a waste of time.

I don’t see why people put negative comments on here. I have been shopping here since they open, 2008. Not once have I ever had a problemwith any employee. I believe the issue is the customer itself. Personality issues. Some people don’t see the negative they have. Again love my local Home Depot. You guys are awesome!!!

I went to home Depot to buy some hex wrench. But they did not sell the type I need. So I bought a couple hammers and some hangers. At a fairly good price. The employee said I had to do the self checkout. So I told her I could go to Lowes she proceeded to check my order out. So I paid her for the items.

We were in the self checkout and my husband asked a staff member to come over and give him his veteran discount. She rolled her eyes and acted like it was an inconvenience, after all we took her away from doing nothing.

My daughter and son-in-law gave me a gift card for Christmas. I needed some items for a home repair project, and was really pleasantly surprised at just how far $100 would go! Great shopping experience!

Went there to exchange some paint. We didnt realize that we bought the wrong kind, to begin with... but Customer service was very understanding, and we were able to get our money back, and buy the right kind of paint that we needed.What a GREAT 😊 experience!!!

Always find what I need 10/22 update bad trip to h/d needed lumber 2x6 2 4/6 felt like ghost walked by 4 or 5 orange aprons no greeting offer of help was watched by employee load heavy lumber, checked out by only cashier who wasnt on cellphone pro loader not there What happened!!! Maybe Lowes or builders discount next time said been going there since store opening

Outstanding customer service. Multiple employees helped me with finding my items. I don’t see why people complain about the employees, I’ve been shopping here since they open. I believe some customers need to check theirselves first. Again love my local home depot
