This place is great! Customer service ? Outstanding! I noticed the place was very clean as well with a homey feeling. My last eye doctor I went to I had to wait 3 months to get new glasses. Here at Chittick, my glasses came less than a week after I ordered them ! And my glasses came with glasses cleaner.

Dr. Kelly is wonderful. He talks to you and never makes you feel like he’s in a hurry. He is pleasant. He is knowledgeable.The staff from check in to check out are nice and easy to work withThe facility is clean and presents well.Very positive experience. Highly recommend

I have always had excellent care at Chitticks. Dr. Lohrberg is thorough in his exams and offers sage advice on my eye care.

I feel like because of my insurence I pushed thru. I was told I had several things going on with my eyes and one was was dryness. The Dr said its common with women. Lol and when choosing frames she showed me 4frames. 1 metal and 3 plastic. And plastic 2 on which was male! I dont know what else going on with eyes. And if they dont want treat people with medical card than shouldnt take medicaid

Great place, friendly service, Dr. Rix explained my diagnosis in way that was understandable for me. Kids love the glasses selection. My progressives are the best Ive had. The staff all around were helpful and courteous.

The only consistency they have is their high turn-over rate for staff. Poorly managed. Can not recommend.

From the time I walked in the door to the time I left, every single staff member wasn’t so nice and helpful. The optometrist (Dr. Kelley) makes me feel quite comfortable and makes sure I get what the proper fit for my contacts.

Everyone here are so polite and caring. They make you feel welcome, the doctors and nurses take their time with you and you never feel like they are rushing things. They take time to explain everything you never feel out of the loop.

Everything went well at my appointment. I dont have to go back for a year unless I develop a problem. I truly respected the efficiency at each step of my appointment and I appreciate Dr. Kelley professional manner in the care of my eyes.

Receptionists are very friendly and welcoming. Staff has always greeted me and taken time to explain what and why they are performing various exams. Dr. Pellegrini has always treated me respectfully and takes time to answer any questions I might have. He explains any changes I might need for scripts. I have do not use the optician dept. often but when I do, I am very happy with the expertise and courteous help I receive in selecting eyeware.

Always great care from very knowledgeable people. The whole staff is very helpful and willing to take the time to explain everything and make you feel comfortable. Dr. Pellegrini is always so thorough and kind.

This place has been here years. Staff is friendly. Building is clean. They have a small turtle farm inside that kids love. Wide selection of frames. Including Nike,Oakley,Puma and Ray Ban just to name a few.

This was the worst experience Ive had with an eye dr. The first apt I had THE DR tell me they offered a program to where they would pay for half of my sons glasses because he has a medical card. So when I had finally got a paycheck I called to get more details about this program. The lady that deals with the glasses told me she had no idea what I was talking about and that we would have to pay straight cash for them. So we go there and the lady that walks up and starts talking to my son about which ones he likes starts grabbing pairs for him to try on. She never once asked was there a price range we was looking for nor asked did we like the glasses she was picking for him. Once he said yes to pair, away she went to her desk still not asking me or his father if we approved. When she gets it all rang up its $334!!!! Im on a medical card which means we dont make enough to afford a $334. I went ahead and paid it because it was for my son and we had waited so long already because of false information from the dr. So i go to get them today. As im sitting n the waiting area there was another customer who had came and sat a couple chairs away. The lady that works n the glasses area and has kinda like spiked hair walks by the lady sitting there in the area with me and says hello to her and walks right passed me and never said a word. She didnt even acknowledge me sitting there. Its so sad that as a CASH paying customer this is how I get treated. I do not recommend going to this place! Everyone in danville talks so highly of this place and Im not so sure why.

I have never had so much trouble getting glasses. I came here because my husband wanted to try it. When I first got my glasses they gave me a headache. When I saw the doctor again he told me he had to make them strong enough to last me 2 years. I did not accept this excuse. The next pair made my eye twitch. When I returned my glasses, my refund was not given when they said it would. Then promises were made to make it right but never followed through. On top of that when my husband went for his glasses, they didnt give us options. They just put the most expensive package together for him. When working with the office manager, he kept lying to me and giving me the run around. Nothing was truly resolved until my American husband got involved. Do they just treat Mexicans this way? I have no idea but I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Chittick Eye Care in Savoy is truley a family friendly center. Several members of my family have received various services from many different Optometrists and staff and have received excellent care. I can speak personally from working with Sarah Perez that she and the entire team will do everything to make your appointments fun and you leave satisfied. From contact lens fittings for a difficult tween, vision therapy referrals for my 9 year old and contacts and glasses for myself. In fact their commitment to service is top notch and I will continue to trust Chittic Family Eye Care with all of my families vision care needs. I appreciate working with a local business, thanks!

I have been seeing Dr. Pelligrini for many years for all of my eye care needs. He is very knowledgeable, patient, helpful, and kind. The staff at Chitticks are always very educated and capable of doing all that is needed. I especially like their communication methods as they will email, text, or phone (your preference) to ensure that appointments are made/confirmed, questions are answered, etc. Great care, great facility, and excellent service!!

Seen 2 different doctors. Tried to get back in contacts that was a fail. Ordered glasses those came back wrong. Seen a different doctor different script that wasnt right. Wanted a refund they said no so now have 650 dollar paper weight.

My experience with Chittick and Dr. Pelligrini have been outstanding! I came to them after going through quite the nightmare experience with Gailey Eye Clinic. Over several months I had to go back to Gailey to return the contacts they made for me because they were very uncomfortable or I wasnt able to see out of them. It was a very demoralizing experience. I came to Chittick with little hope, but Dr. Pelligrini was able to get it right with the very first pair! He was very professional, accommodating, and knowledgeable. I will be recommending Chittick and Pelligrini to everyone, especially if you have a difficult prescription or uniquely shaped eyes.
