I cannot say enough good things about my experience at Sunrise and with Nick Bolanos. I live 7 hours away and Nick was able to put me in my new boat, add a trolling motor, and completely handle the trade in of the old boat without me having to be on the coast until I picked it up. The Boat is incredible and Nick was incredibly generous with his time as he took me out for a sea trial and taught me all the ins and outs of the new boat. Great experience and great people!!!

We purchased a new boat here and found the people to be very knowledgeable and friendly. However, post-purchase, our service experience was highly inconsistent and overall quite disappointing. They successfully ran the clock out on our warranty by repeatedly failing to fix certain issues that were noted shortly after delivery. I dont necessarily believe that this was their intent; rather it seems to be a lack of organization and effective communication within the service department that leads to a lot of frustration when doing anything other than simple annual maintenance.

I was heading to the Mobile Delta and my boat would not start. So I stopped in on an “emergency “ request for a diagnosis on my motor. Pat the manager was kind enough to check with Tech (Drew) to see if he was covered up. Within minutes, I backed my boat into a stall and Drew went to work. In under 45 minutes he had me running. I made it to the camp for my nephews birthday. What a fabulous team and company!!

I’ve had my boat serviced only two times and Patrick in the service department already knows me by name!When I brought the boat in for the second time it wouldn’t crank when I got in the water so then I brought it up to Sunrise to get it fixed and Patrick and the guys did everything they could to get me back in the water immediately-unfortunately I needed a new starter and it wasn’t just a quick fix.They have honored the warranty on the starter and it hasn’t cost me a dime!Not only will they treat you with respect, but they will also treat your boat like you would. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND SUNRISE MARINE for anyone who takes maintenance of their boat seriously.

Purchased an axle for my boat trailer. They were able to get it at a better price than ordering directly from the manufacturer. Staff were friendly and help load it up. I would definitely go back.

One of the worst experiences Ive had with any company in any field as a customer. Heavy turnover, cant get anyone to return our calls, was told, if you dont like it, pick your boat up and take it somewhere else. Incredibly frustrating and unprofessional. Still dont have our boat back after 2 months. They lost paperwork that was critical in getting insurance to pay for our engine (that they installed brand new and went bad after only 92 hours). Do NOT EVER work with this company.

I re-powered my boat a couple of years ago with a brand new Yamaha outboard. I fish all over the bay and northern gulf, many times by myself, so I needed something I could depend on. After a year, it developed an intermittent oil leak, so I decided to take it to a local dealer for the warranty work. I picked the wrong one. After not being able to find the leak, they did a bunch of preventative maintenance (without my approval) and handed me a bill. After I protested nicely, they offered to discount my next visit. They just totally assumed Id be back there. Wow. I try to tell people not to believe the reputation about Fairhope snobs, but businesses that operate in this way dont give me a lot to work with. When I dropped it off, they rolled out the red carpet but when I came to pick it up, they acted like since I didnt own a 70 foot yacht, I wasnt worth fooling with. I wont mention the name of these crooks cause they aint worth it. You can bet they will never steal another dime from me.Now for the good part.. I ran into a couple of young fellows at one of the boat launches and they were test running a new boat. I told them my story and before I even finished all the details, they already had a good hunch of what the problem was. I took it to them and told them to let me know in advance if it needed anything the warranty wouldnt cover.. (same thing I told the other fools) They did, and I gladly let them take care of it. Only a few days later, I got it back and couldnt be happier. The treatment I received was first class and I would certainly recommend these guys to all my fishing buddies.. and I have quite a few.Thanks for the awesome service,Sunrise Marine of Daphne!!!
