If it was possible to leave 0 stars then I would. We ordered a sectional 8 months ago, and was told that it would take 20 weeks from the ordered date to receive. Now 4 months later were being told that we may receive it in two more months. The employee that I spoke with was also extremely rude about this problem and acted like she didnt care about this issue. They sure cared when they received half of my $4,000 as a deposit. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

The absolute BEST customer service I have ever received! The furniture here is so beautiful - but what makes it even better are the staff. So kind and accommodating. I have never had an issue with them - one of my favorite places to shop at for furniture.

We had the BEST experience at Lagniappe Furniture Store in Daphne! Sue was a pleasure to work with. She was not pushy. She let us look and when we had questions she was there to help. She helped us move other pieces from around the store until we found the exact look we wanted! Thank you! Would 100% recommend!!!

We bought a table 5 months ago and are STILL waiting for it. We’ve been told multiple times it’s on it way. And multiple times they change the shipment dates. It’s very hard to even get them to return your call.This table was promised months ago. They don’t stand behind what they say and have been completely unreliable and unapologetic. If you choose to shop here, Buyer beware.

Great service and good variety of furniture

We came in for a big sale and had a pleasant buying experience. We purchased a nice sofa and was told to expect it in 10-12 weeks. So now it’s over 3 months and we are being told to expect another 3 months at least! The manager was rude and unapologetic. She became hostile when we asked who would want to wait 6 months for a sofa and still no guarantees. She offered no options like selecting something in stock. Then she started blaming our sales person who was very nice. She also came up with a story about foam shortages. We will NEVER shop here again!

I ordered furniture early may. Was told some of it would be in early June. Still haven’t seen it. I have called multiple times with no return call. Finally end of June spoke with the manager. Thought we had it worked out but here it is the first of august. Can’t get them to call me back. Specifically asked for them to have manager call me. That was Friday. This is Monday afternoon. No return call. To make things even worse they have had a couple of sales since I bought mine! I went there because a friend highly recommended them. Never again. So disappointed/frustrated.

Do not waste your time ordering furniture from this place. They have lied to us four or five times over the last SIX MONTHS waiting for furniture that was supposed to be here in 3 months.We understand furniture delays and shipping delays happens, but instead of being honest, they keep trying to make up random ship and delivery stories?They will lie to your face over and over again. Not worth it.

Also waiting on multiple items that we have paid for over a month ago. Just don’t recommend buying anything from them that you have to order. One representative said the shipment was on the way when we purchased them and now after a month they still have not been received.

If I could give 20 stars I would. I Know there are so many issues with production and shipping that i was willing to wait since every furniture store in mobile, Baldwin and the USA are dealing with the same thing. A coworker decided to get a large amount of furniture from Lagniappe back in May and i simply fell in love with it. So my friend brought me in to the store for a girls day. Number one, we were greeted asap! I am huge on customer service so from the start I was pleased. Number 2, the sales lady allowed us time to view the store ourselves and didnt hover over us. I appreciated that. Third, eventually our sales person got a little tied up and that was perfectly fine so this tiny little southern bell manager came over and quickly helped. Honestly, she was so kind, helpful, informative and extremely knowledgeable about shipping and production times. She told us up front, that special orders are running up to 20 weeks right now. Like i said, i was already aware of this and if i didnt want to wait, there was no reason to design furniture but i know what is going on right now in the usa. Plus, we already have furniture that we are using until ours comes in. The furniture selection was outstanding! best quality and best price for the money. We had went to hanks 3 weeks ago and they had zero furniture in stock and told me it would be 30 weeks for incoming freight with them. I was pleased to hear up to 20 with Lagnaippe. This is on special order merch. They have plenty of other sofas, loveseats etc in stock. They just do not stock specials order things which, i dont think anyone does actually. I ended up ordering my things and i was happy to hear that i only had to put 50% down and i could pay the rest off when it comes in. That was a huge help since my husband and i just had our wedding a few weekends ago and i am strapped for cash now. The customer service, quality, the staff, even the check out counter was just the nicest people. I am not from the south so it was just the sweetest talking to these true southern bells. our sales person was great and the manager Mrs Ophelia was precious. Let me say this, if you are looking for in stock furniture LAGNIAPPE HOME STORE: IS THE PLACE! If you want to design your furniture, please be considerate and understand that it will be a minute before it comes in. My husband just left a factory 3 months ago because the stress was too much. These factories are the ones delaying your furniture, not lagnaippe home store or any other store. thank you lagniappe home store for being so kind to me. I hope this review helps your customers understand whats going on. I have seen customers scream at retail workers over delays due to covid and its absolutely disgusting to me how anyone acts that way over furniture! Things are not back to normal at these factories. there are bigger things going on in the world and more things important. I will forever be a customer now

All of the furniture is white and tan. I have two kids and a husband, I cant have white furniture.

I could not be happier w/ my experience @ Lagniappe Home Store Daphne. Brenda is such a sweet, patient sales lady. She helped me through all my indecision’s & my new beautiful living room sofas are gorgeous & fit my space perfectly. The delivery was prompt & the delivery men went above & beyond to tote my sofas up my steep driveway. They were gracious & had a smile the whole time.

Ordered a chair that was supposed to arrive in 6 weeks. It took 11 weeks. Never once complained because I understand things happen. When the chair finally arrived my Dad asked if he could be there right at 5:00 to pick it up. He was told oh no ! We lock the doors at exactly 5:00 working 9-5 is long day. They did stay to let him pick up the chair he paid for 11 weeks ago and was told no one would help him load it because you know we absolutely have to lock up at 5:00, god forbid we stay open an hour extra minute for a customer. We got it home and it was missing bolts. Wow ! They kindly left the bolts outside for him to pick up.We wouldn’t dare want to put out the all mighty manger at this story again. My Dad lost everything in a house fire and this chair was a huge deal to regain some sort of normalcy and rebuilding a home. We will never shop here again. I think that the manger here might need to take a class on customer service and have some integrity. Possibly a little compassion towards people. Terrible experience......

Still waiting for a sectional that we paid for in October, and was suppose to be delivered last month...when we ask they will not give us a delivery date. We did get the bedroom set we ordered...but one of the drawers was damaged, when the replacement finally showed up it was a totally different color, we reported it, weeks later when we asked about it all of a sudden they needed more info. Will never shop here again.

A whole lot of beautiful things!

This used to be the J&J store until those owners retired. It’s as good or better a place to shop than back then, thankfully. They have a good selection of living room and bedroom furniture, mattresses and recliners. Customer service is helpful and friendly, too. The prices are fairly competitive, too, which is good.

My husband and I are fairly new to the area and Lagniappes was recommended to us by a friend. We purchased a new dresser there last year and the service and assistance was attentive and friendly. We are currently getting new family room furniture and are again finding it to be a positive experience. Quality of merchandise is good and pricing is reason.

I just wanted to leave a quick review of my experience the last couple of days at the Daphne location. It was such a joy to walk into your beautiful store, be greeted and spoken too with respect, and really listened to. Sue was our salesperson. She was super sweet, ready to help in any way, and answered all of my questions - and there were a bunch of them! Im not at a point where I can spend too much on furniture yet so she met me where I am now and I have the couch I wanted. Ophelia answered email questions quickly and graciously. I had been to several other local stores and this was definitely the best experience. Thank you all. I will be back.

Beautiful showroom and great customer service. Brenda at Lagniappe was very knowledgeable and patient with me in the process of picking out and purchasing a custom made sectional. It was ready to be delivered right when they told me it would be and the delivery guys were professional and did a great job.We absolutely love our new sectional. It is well-made, excellent quality, and exactly what we ordered. We will definitely be back when looking to purchase more furniture.

Great customer service! My boyfriend and I were in to look at a bedroom suite for our new house and the store manager Ophelia was seriously the sweetest and most helpful worker in the building! She spent an HOUR AND A HALF dealing with my boyfriend and I being so indecisive. She answered all my questions, helped with measurements, decorating advice, and explained how the financing works. She explained how everything was made and let us know how important it was for the owner of Lagniappe to sell high quality furniture at a lower price and it shows! Over all AWESOME experience!!

I have been more pleased than I was today when the recliners came. Ken and Steve kept me posted as to their arrival and that means a lot when you are sitting and waiting. I couldn’t be happier with my furniture! Anytime I have a party or entertain in my home, I always receive compliments on my dining room & living room furniture. I have referred many of my neighbors to Lagniappe Home Store. I spent a couple of hours in the store looking at fabrics and second guessing myself, and the sales rep was so patient with me & helpful as I made my final selections. I was constantly kept in the loop on delivery as I made a special order on all of my items. I will definitely go back to them as I finish furnishing and decorating my home. I love all the unique looks they have with such a huge variety!

My husband and i had a wonderful experience here! I had been seeing all the info on Tv and seen a few pieces that i wanted to see in person. Mitty was very kind, just a sweet southern gal. From the time we walked in, we were greeted by anyone who seen us, that was nice. No one was pushy, they let us have our space to shop. the first thing i noticed was the prices. their prices are the best i have seen in Baldwin county. I am a budget shopper so i was happy. Opie the manager came around and greeted us to welcome us to the store. she was such a cutie pie. We purchased a few weeks ago but i had been forgetting to give this review. I hope the owner sees this and keeps the good work up. I plan to visit the mobile store in about a month and hope to have the same exact experience. just wanted to let you guys know that i had a very nice time. see ya soon

The staff was friendly and the prices were fair. However, unless you have 3 months to wait for your furniture dont bother. I ordered a bedroom suit over a month before I closed on my house and was assured there would be no problem with delivery near my closing date. After sleeping on the floor for two months my bed finally showed up yesterday. Its a shame because I was furnishing a whole house and I wouldve liked to support the local business. However, they made no attempt to make it right and just blamed the manufacturer (they couldve at least brought my mattress). I took my business and several thousand dollars across town and I suggest you do the same.

We just did a full family room renovation and Sue Cummings at this location helped us coordinate the most wonderful furniture grouping! She went beyond the 9 to 5 time clock to answer questions and send pictures from her personal cell!!! We couldnt be more pleased...

Nice selection and reasonable prices. However, when the piece of furniture was unboxed at home, it was the wrong piece. We called the store to report, and it was explained to us that we must be mistaken. We offered to bring the piece to the store to reconcile. After determining that the floor model was mislabeled, was offered the floor model ( which had minor wear) for the original price. (The marked/original price was slightly lower than the correct pruce). We stated that we desired a piece without wear. The manager then overrode the salesman and added $30 to the price. I did not want to negotiate so we got our money back. Manager never apologized for their error, and treated us as though we made an error. Salesman tried to take care or us and was apologetic throughout.

Worst customer service I have ever seen. I wish I would have read reviews prior to my purchase because I would have never stepped foot in their store. They lie continuously about where, when or even if the order has shipped or will be received. Each time we call (they will never call the customer) we are told a different lie. They even say they will call back with an update but of course no call back. Unbelievable since there are many furniture stores in the area. We were told 5 weeks from purchase that we would have our new bedroom furniture - 10 weeks later and still no idea. DO NOT SHOP AT THIS STORE UNLESS YOU LIKE DEALING WITH MISERY!

We had a fabulous experience at Lagniappe Home Store!! We needed a bedroom set. We went in twice to look and even were able to take in a piece of flooring to make sure it would look nice. The staff was accommodating and knowledgable! I liked so many pieces. The people were all patient and kind! I love my new bedroom furniture! The delivery crew moved our old stuff out of the way to bring in the new and had it all put together quickly! I will definately reccommend Lagniappe to friends!

First and foremost, the store is beautiful and bright and very welcoming. I walk in and see Sue and she was so sweet,kind and not pushy at all. She also gave me my space to look around by myself. I was also greeted by Mike who was also very kind. Sue also had great style which is nice to have while needing decorating advice from such a lovely person. I knew i was in good hands. Sue also listened to me the entire time and directed me to exactly what i was looking for. The whole store was extremely positive in many ways. Mitty who is also a great sales person helped me pick out fabric for my special orders. Lagniappe home store probably has hundreds of fabrics to choose from may i add.. Sue also did a house call for me too! Lagniappe home store has free decorating services which is awesome! When i got to the customer service counter, the store manager Ophelia and the office manager Megan were two of the sweetest girls I have worked with. They made everything easy for me. I purchased a lot of furniture, some in stock items, some special order items, home decor etc..There is nothing i am not happy with. I even got the extended warranty which is something i am glad Sue and lagniappe home store offered to me. I received several courtesy calls as i was waiting on my furniture and they let me know everything. I will continue to always buy from Lagniappe home store. I am very grateful for the excellent customer service i have been given the entire time from start to finish. To the owners Kevin & Tonya Booker, Sue, Megan, Ophelia, the delivery guys, all the sales people and all, thank you kindly for treating me so well. I will spread the word about how well the customer service, the prices, and the good quality furniture Lagniappe has. I also want to add, that next wed which is Sues off day actually, she will be coming back to my home for another house call. That means she is coming to my home on her off day. If I could give zero stars I would. I went in on August 18, 2018. I told salesperson I needed furniture ASAP as I was currently without. The furniture I chose had to be ordered. I was told it would be a 4-6 week delivery time. Six weeks being the absolute worst case...most people get it between 4 and 5 weeks I was told. So at 5 weeks I call to check. I was told due to Hurricane in NC it was delayed but would still be delivered within the 6th week. 6th week I was told it would ship on Oct 1. On Oct 1 I call to verify that it did in fact ship. I was told and I quote, yes, it is on the truck and will arrive at our store by Tuesday the 9th or Wednesday the 10th. I was a bit shocked it would take 10 days to drive from NC to Al but whatever...On Tuesday the 9th I call for an update. Again, I am told it shipped on the 1st but they didn’t have an update of where the delivery truck was! At this point, I have lost all confidence that they know anything about customer service. My husband goes into the store on Wednesday the 10th and asked for manager. He was directed to the lady who handles delivery, the same lady who verified not once, but twice that my furniture had shipped on the 1st. She asks who told me my furniture had shipped! She begins to say my furniture had not been constructed yet because of the storm...not the one in NC last month, but the one that hit Florida today! So my furniture that I ordered almost 8 weeks ago, paid in full, has not been started because of a storm that comes to another state 8 weeks after you took my money? My husband asked for a refund and was told no refunds on custom orders. He said if it hasn’t been started yet there is nothing to cancel. They issued a refund only to say it will take 48 to get the refund back in our account. Withholding information from customer is nothing more than a fancy lie. You knew each time I called that my furniture wasn’t coming but you continued to lie. I can’t find one positive thing to say at this point. I sincerely hope you change your policy...I will warn every person I know what you did to me. Shame on you.
