Owner of the company came out twice and still didnt fix our garage door. He seemed rushed and annoyed both times. We called another company that not only fixed our garage door on their first visit but also had much better customer service. Dont pay this guy to be rude to you.

Brandon was very knowledgeable and helpful with installation and insured my father had a good understanding of the workmanship of the door. Ms. Pammy in the office was very pleasant and helpful as well. Definitely would recommend using this company for your garage door needs.

I called Garage Door Rescue when our garage doors aged and broke. The Garage door tech came and was very pleasant and helpful. I paid $95 for him to come and measure my garage door space. He then asked me to check a website and order doors. First the hand written webpage was difficult to find as it had an error when written out. Then when I went to the website all my choices were in black and white drawings. I had no idea how this was supposed to look on my house and called the main office. First I received a voicemail and left a message which was never returned, I called a second time basically pleading for help, the woman who called me back sounded aggravated I had interrupted her and had no desire in helping me. I told her that we are a small business as well and we would like to support another family run small business and I would like to pay her and support her company, yet she still did not change her demeanor. Needless to say they came out in November, no help has been provided to ensure we get the doors we want and here we are in January and we still have no doors and none are ordered, and so far all I paid for is someone to measure my doors, and frankly I could have done that for free. I gave them 4 stars though that isnt my honest rating as it is much less, only because I have no desire in hurting their business by a bad review. If you can order garage doors and know what you are getting from a black and white hand sketching then maybe your experience will be better than mine, however, you have to be fully responsible for knowing you are making the right order with little help from my experience. With so many garage door companies online, I could have done the equivalent, ordered random doors online for a fraction of the cost myself without paying someone nearly $100 to measure my doors for me. I sure wish the office lady would have helped with the order, otherwise what did I hire them for? to measure my doors? really?????

Sometimes when you make a call for services needed, one becomes apprehensive. You search and search then read reviews to hear what people have written to make a sound decision. Well In my case I called garage door rescue based on their 5 star reviews, not one negative comment. Since I needed my garage door repaired. I knew my anti lock springs were broke so I took a chance on calling them first for an appointment. Brandon aka. Skinny guy arrived this morning. I was at work so my wife had to handle the situation. She kept me in the loop play by play and was so impressed with Brandon beyond words! His professionalism, kind demeanor and knowledge was more than she expected. He repaired my issue, and replaced my door sensors I had on hand, reset the motor settings, oiled the chains. I cannot thank him enough for a Job well done. This place has my business from here on out!

Got replacement springs in the same day I called to ask about it.$220 for 1, $305 for 2 (price installed).Do two at once of you have a pair, if one snapped, its imminent that the second one will go.

I called Monday evening, and they were able to schedule me for the next morning. They were on time, professional, and reasonably priced.

These guys are a Life Saver! We had the unfortunate misshape of our garage door coming off the tracks and needed a repairman ASAP. I called someone else first, Big Mistake. The other guys came out, took 5 minutes to address the problem and tried to convenience us that our garage door was completely shot. Then came the $1500.00 High Pressure Sale. I then called Garage Door Rescue for a second opinion. Im glad I did, $120.00 later and my garage door is working perfectly, like new. Brandon was a really nice guy and a true craftsman. He took the time to explain everything about the garage door from maintenance to way it came off the tracks in the first place. I know who to call about my garage door issues from now on. Wow! Unfortunately, the spring on my garage door broke rendering the door totally inoperable, even to lift manually. What a nightmare for a household with 4 vehicles. I anticipated that I would have to call and make a repair appointment for a time days away and then be trapped at home with that dreaded “window” of time, crossing my fingers that someone would eventually show up to fix it during which time our family would have to do the “car shuffle morning, noon and night. I found recommendations on our neighborhood website for Garage Door Reacue. I called at 8:54am to schedule an appointment and was shocked when the ever so pleasant woman said she could have someone out within the hour. At 9:07, Brandon rang my doorbell with ladder in hand and tools at the ready. He explained exactly what he was going to do and gave me an estimate, which I found to be very reasonable, and within 1 hour I not only had a fully functioning garage door but he had corrected some previous installation issues and did the oiling maintenance on the entire track and door. He was efficient, pleasant and personable. As he pulled out of my driveway having completed the repair at 10:19, I was compelled to write this review (something I don’t normally do) to give praise to a great local company with fantastic customer service for a reasonable price. This is a fantastic company. The receptionist actually apologized for not being able to get to me the same day I called - they came the next day. Brandon arrived right on time and was friendly and polite as well as very knowledgable about everything to do with garage doors. He fixed the part that was broken and told me the things that were showing signs of wear and that he could replace today without any forceful sales pitch. He also gave me a tutorial on how to oil the parts that need it and what kind to buy. All this in about half an hour. Our house is 22 years old and I will definitely be calling GDR the next time something breaks. They are stellar.
