Absolutely no one was interested in helping me find what I needed. Such a bad experience. I asked the first lady and she said go to center aisle its on an end cap, then I come back and ask her if somebody could show me because I couldnt find it and she called to the back to ask somebody to help me and then she said go down the Center aisle and wait for them.... yeah 20 minutes later, I dont think so . Ill just go to hobby lobby

Waited in line for 15 minutes. Employee at register wouldnt call for help. Only 3 employees working. Air conditioning not working correctly up front. Hard to get help when cant schedule enough people.

A lot of things I love about this store. The workers are very nice and sweet, and very helpful. The store is always clean and things are never really dusty or dirty. They have so many things ranging from food decorating to sewing. Anything craft or art related. Affordable prices, very unique and interesting little pendants and jewelry, and name brand art supplies. Definitely coming here a lot more often

This place is absolutely amazing. If you are a crafter it is like heaven! There are many many types of fabric with a wide variety of colors and textures. A veritable rainbow of thread colors and embroidery thread colors as well awaits you there. I was so pleased to see the many books they had and the prices were extremely competitive. Another item there were many choices for was patterns. I saw everything from dolls to human clothes. Whatever hobby you happen to enjoy the most its a good bet that they will have the materials necessary to enjoy it. And to top it off the employees are very friendly and helpful which makes the entire experience very positive

Love this store except i applied for a job and never got a call

The store was clean and organized, and there were lots of accommodations made to help keep us safe and the store clean. The employees were available when we had questions and were careful to stay distanced, wear their masks appropriately, and clean often.

I really enjoyed myself. I couldnt find one thing but the girl went and checked it out to see if they had it any where else in the store for me. Then she checked us out and was so nice and polite you dont find that very often in young people.

I usually love Joanne fabrics. The day we went, this store was closed for some reason, but there was no sign. Many of us stood outside waiting and waiting until finally an employee came to the door to say they were closed. She did not say why.

Highly disappointed with the customer services we experienced. myself and my sister in law had stopped in at this location to get supplies for macrame to gift my daughter for Christmas. We tired looking our selves but was unsuccessful so we went to find help. As we walked down the isle a worker with a cart came flying around the corner, not slowly down or using her mannors. my sister in laws exact words were wow.. I then said excuse me and asked where I could find the supplies .. this worker did NOT stop to help she continued pushing the car and responded we dont carry any of that, no cord no nothing. EXTREMELY RUDE. So we looked around and when we proceed to start to walk out through the store (at this point she is standing with another employee at the area where they cut fabric) we heard the woman say well I told them we didnt have it. At this point my sister in law and I both looked at each and I say u think shes talking about us?? We left the store. I was out shopping a few days later with my cousin and told her how the event happened. we were up shopping at Ross when she asked me if I wanted to go look for the macrame at Joannas again .. we did .. we walk in door and there was this nice young lady that walked us right over to the cord and then helped us find the how to macrame book. we werent even in the store 5 mins and had everything I had came to the store for a few days earlier and was mislead into believing the items werent sold there. BUT what works my nerves is that im almost positive that the other employee told her that the items were available and she didnt even try to find us in the store to make it right ... and honestly all she had to do was look to her right .. we were standing right there! I wish I would have gotten both employees names the young lady was extremely helpful and nice and deserves a raise and as for the older employee she needs to find a new job. this experience wont get me to shop at micheals or hobby lobby yet but if I experience what I did esp by same lady i wont be back. It was a waste of my time to have go there 2 different times esp when spending over 30 mins in the store the first attempt. Only getting 3 stars due to the younger lady otherwise I would have left 1 star. yes that lady had me that mad!ps im super excited to see what my daughter creates with her new macrame items

I shop regularly in Joann in Davenport and out of these last five years not one associate greet or ask if I need help looking for something, maybe its a racial thing or their training needs to be evaluated. they have very poor customer service and if they didnt have sales often I would not give that store a the time of day.

Nice selection, stuff is always at a sale price, good thing, I would never shop here if the regular price what they charged.

Pretty organized store. Has some really sales. Everyone who works here (that I came in contact with) was extremely nice and chatty. It seemed as if they had everything in stock.

Have all necesary for sewing i needed a wasable pencils, i found but not to cheap.

Best Joanns in the greater local area. Best selection from the Burlington, Galesburg, and Peoria stores. Room for a decent selection of all the craft supplies the Joanns chain sells. Embroidery thread, wood burning, stamp pads, jewelry making, quilting, etc., and a decently large clearance section. When I have time to go to the Quad Cities, this is my go to Joanns.

I was just at this store and was first told by some random person, apparently an employee, that the entire line was in need of moving. Then when my turn in line came up I was told that I could not enter because the customer that just exited had to get her phone. As I waited more people lined up and employees were coming out to deliver drop-off orders. I tried to enter the outer set of doors so that I could ask the employee who the customer was that went for the phone in case she was in line waiting to go back in and I was told I had to get out. My purchase took less than 3 munites and the customer with the phone was walking in as I was walking out. She was the customer that was a few people behind me in line. So, not only did I have to stand in the cold because the employee would not let me ask a simple question but the customers behind me did as well.

For the most part I like Joanns. I have shopped there for many years.Of course I do not have a lot of options to shop for fabric in the Quad City area. My experience yesterday was mediocre at best. The air conditioning was virtually non-existent. I went to purchase bulk elastic. There was barely half of what I wanted to purchase. I asked about a previous purchase. I had purchased more than why the pattern called for. When I laid the pattern out on the fabric, it did not fit. The girl waiting on me asked if I had pre-washed it. I told her yes. She then told me that the yardage had probably shrunk. I then said that if it shrunk when it was pre-washed, it would more than likely would have shrunk after the garment had been sewn & it would not fit. She then replied that it was a bummer when that happens. She wrote the wrong price for one of the items I was purchasing. I mentioned to the check out lady that I must have missed read the price. One item was $9.99 a yard @ 60% off. The second item was $8.99 a yard @ 60% off. She did correct the mistake. She was the nicest clerk that I encountered yesterday.

I used to love shopping there. However there was employee who was very unprofessional. As i waited in line she complained about how she hates her job. I finally called the store manager and she said tgat was how she is but she agreed it needed to stop and she had talked to her I even called corporate about it. Once when I went in thr girl told me she thought I was the crazy lady calling corporate. That was it. I called corporate and informed them I would no longer continue to shop there. The district manager called me and said she was sorry and would handle it. I dont know whatever happened.I really love Joanns but I refuse to shop where an employee acts unprofessional and can say rude things to someone. She had been talked to about it amd shes still there even after her comment to me. Unbelievable.

Ran to JoAnns for one specific item. After looking for it myself I asked a sales associate. I think she was new, so she radioed up to someone else, who was like oh I havent seen that in forever, I dont think we have it. I showed sales associate the website that stated they have 3 in stock. She relayed this to the manager who stated oh that is never up to date ( It says on the website: Up to date as of Friday at 4:00, this was Friday at 4:15). And with that the sales person turned and started sweeping. No Im sorry let me order that let me help you look for that... etc. No customer service. 15 minutes later, I found it myself. 3 bottles. 2 aisles away from the associate. :( Looks like Ill be driving across town to Michaels and Hobby Lobby for my crafts.
