I had been invited to a funeral on short notice, but I had lost a lot of weight and none of my old suits fit anymore. I chose to look for a suit at The Gentry Shop based on the excellent reviews I read regarding customer service.I was not disappointed!Greg was able to pick my exact jacket size off the rack just by glancing at me. I found a fabric pattern that I liked and stood on a pedestal while he made his chalk marks for adjustments. I was able to walk out with a 100% wool suit for exactly as much as I was hoping to pay.It is reassuring to know that shops like these still exist!

This is the only Clothing store that Ive ever gone to where they have $150 turtle necks and all other types of clothing priced way more than that and NONE of it is Couture!! How dare you all? So yall fix up a nice store and make it a boutique, put those extreme prices on it..the Least you all can do is get couture brands up on there: Versace, Gucci, Armani, etc. You all are totally getting over and I pity the FOOL who would buy OFF BRAND clothing at those prices. Completely ridiculous.

I was able to find one of the nicest outfits for very important occasion at this place. The service was off the charts good and the selection Met my needs perfectly. The owner Greg takes a personal interest in making sure all details are taken care of .

I was very dissatisfied with the service and customer service. Went here to get my suit tailored for my wedding. No problems when I got it fitted but when I returned to get it picked up there were multiple issues. They claimed that there was a spot on my suit jacket when it arrived and that they wanted to inform me that this was here before it arrived and they did not do it. I had tried on the suit multiple times before leaving it with them and this spot was never there. When I told them this they were very blunt and disrespectful to their paying customer. They maintained that this was like this when they received it and were not willing to work with me. Ultimately I overpaid for the tailoring and had to take my jacket to the dry cleaners. Where I find out that the spot cannot be removed because someone had tried to remove a red ink spot and it had spread out to form a pink outline. Gentry shop had claimed this was pink chalk and they could have never done this because they dont own pink chalk. Also the cleaning product used discolored my suit. Overall they ruined my wedding suit, didnt claim responsibility, and didnt work with the customer.

The clothes are beautiful, the shoe selection is fantastic for my husbands hard to fit feet, and the service is impeccable. They will lengthen ties, fit stock shirts to fit like custom, and order in anything they dont have for you to try it on for size. The only negative is that they accommodate bigger men than bigger women. So if you fall between 0/2 mark to about 14 you are golden.
