Green Thumbers just made all the floral arrangements for a family funeral. I provided a picture of what I wanted ours to look like, not only did it look like it but it looked better the picture. In addition, a sister from Texas, ordered and Green Thumbers coordinated flowers/colors to go with the other family arrangements. The manager called me while making the arrangements to confirm the final details, I was very pleased that she reached out. I could not have been happier.

So I stumbled in here in January when all of their Christmas stuff was 70% off and I thought I was in actual heaven! There is such a huge selection here and Im a little obsessed. And Im really new to the area and honestly had no idea how many different vinegars and olive oils there are out there and they even let you sample them! Its such a cool place to shop local! Highly recommend!

This would usually be a five to six star place in my book. Unfortunately it was so hot inside of the store that even a healthy person like me found it very difficult to breathe from the high humidity and heat. I cant express this enough.. ANYONE WITH ASTHMA BE VERY VERY CAREFUL WHEN CHOOSING IF THEY SHOULD GO IN THE STORE OR NOT WHEN ITS SO HOT!! Ive never been in a store and felt that same experience and can only imagine how difficult it must be to be a person living with that.

This place is so unique... A landscaping store with a a full cafe, inside with a sit-down area, and outside with a full patio. The coffee drinks are fantastic and the views are just amazing. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a place to get some work or studying done, or having business meetings/sit downs with others!

This little hidden gem, amongst the rubble that is Brady street, is my go-to with girlfriends. Its classy and theres tons to look at, you can even taste test their oils and vinegars, get local 🍯, tons of plants, beautiful greenhouse etc

Staff: the staff is very helpful. I walked the plants looking for an item and a staff member asked if he could help. He helped me get some plants. As I walked out to the table they have set out, a nice women wrote me up a card. Then the cashier was very nice and told me were to get bulk mulch. The young fellow running the skid steer was very kind as to load my trailer without hurting my plants.Building: was clean and spacious.Plants: were healthy and full of life. The mulch was good quality.Star rating: 4 stars because there isn’t really directions for people who are not contractors to pick up bulk supplies. I sat waiting for some help for 10 minutes before I walked and found someone who could tell me where to actually go.Notes: come in off of Brady street. The Green Thumbers has a wonderful selection of well kept plants, a variety of pots, an interesting selection of decorations and various other things for sale. The staff is generally friendly as well. They also have teas, olive oils, and vinegar for sale in one section of the store.

Great employees. Knowledgeable, and helpful. Plants arent cheap but they are healthy and vibrant. We relied on their professional advice and left feeling more confident than if we purchased from the Walmart garden center.

As always wonderful. Great selection of everything. I found gardening gloves my size which is almost impossible to find. Gorgeous plants and accessories. Coffee and food is good too.

Lovely shop/greenhouse area. Absolutely gorgeous. Wish I had the time to shop their tea collection. Super cheap gardening supplies. And their succulents were in great shape. Only downside was some of the staff werent wearing masks, which at the time of writing, is a fairly important issue. Otherwise lovely shop, look forward to going again.

Great selection of plants. Everything from Miniature roses to 3ft cactus in stock. They have a cute Cafe. And large selection of gardening related goods. Come check it out. Even if you dont buy anything its nice to see what they have in.

While I think this company has fantastic products please be aware that they can not guarantee delivery if being sent out of the quad cities. Disheartening that my mother paid for two orders, one local and one to Chicago. She paid for same day delivery and the flowers never arrived. Vs making things right they advised her they cant guarantee the items arriving on time yet you took her money for same days delivery. My mom is disabled her financial income is fixed and the fact she now has to wait doe a refund by check and still isn’t getting the flowers delivered is outrageous. Customer experience should always be number one. The customer comes first as I work in sales. We will not use this company again. Unfortunate

Great staff; knowledgable and friendly. They do everything here from stock gardening plants, to landscaping. Theres even a section inside for hobbyists such as beekeepers or birdwatchers. Theres a rather large artisan olive oil section complete with infused and truffle oils, a florist, and a cafe that does crepes on the weekends. Open year round (only the houseplant section is open during winter), and always ready to be of assistance.

Whimsical and practical in the same place.

With one exception, no member of the staff wore a mask - inside or out, up close or not. Of all the places Ive shopped, this is the one where it felt that the staff was actively dismissive of the need to act responsibly around customers and colleagues. Beyond that, only one member of the nursery staff seemed well informed, two others seem to be making things up when asked about plants, and their pricing remains assertive.

Their plant selection is freaking nuts. Some prices are on the high end, however, you get what you pay for and the quality of the houseplants are great. Their outdoor selection is incredible as well. Gets so many ideas just going up and down all the rows of plants and flowers. Its a fun time to shop around there. Aroma Coffee is amazing right next door too! Grab a coffee and check out the greens!

If I want a shrub, tree or any kind of perennial plant, I ALWAYS go to Green Thumbers!!!! I have gotten 2 maple trees, a plum tree, 5 lilac bushes, a forsythia & a bridal veil spirea from them over the years, and also a burning bush, & 2 bleeding hearts! LOVE THEM!!!! Their olive oils & vinegars are wonderful too!!!!

That staff there was not very energetic to help out customers when I was there there was hardly anybody there me and my daughter were the only ones there and nobody wanted to help

One of the best Garden Nurseries in the area. They have a surprisingly large lot of assorted landscape right in the heart of Davenport. Super helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. They have a fantastic store inside and even a delicious cafe. They also serve coffee free all day everyday for law enforcement! Whats not to love?

Great place to shop for home, garden, and yard. Customer service is excellent. Prices, reasonable and a great inventory. Senior and Veteran discounts. We bought two Clealand pair trees and a river Birch. Awesome trees.

They have a really great selection of perennials, shrubs and trees. The nursery itself is well laid out and the plants are really taken care of. I started my own business a couple of years ago and this year The Green Thumbers is now my new place to shop.

A big thank you to green thumbers for telling me in 1999 that they dont hire women landscapers. Due to that I have successfully owned and operated my own landscaping business for 20 years. My hands have worked on several hundred properties in the quad cities doing weekly maintenance, garden removal and planting, miles and miles of bush trimming, garden weeding, fertilizing, dreaded leaves and so much more! It really turned out to be a good thing.

I liked them originally until they sold me the WRONG PLANT and refused to make it right. I went to them for milkweed to rear monarchs with my preschool age son. One of the plants was not like the others, but the salesman assured me it was just a different variety of milkweed. We went home and planted it, but the caterpillars wouldnt touch it. Because it wasnt milkweed! When I called to complain, they told me to bring it back with the receipt. When I did, they refused to give me a refund because it wasnt in the original pot and because I had already planted it in the garden. Terrible. If they cant assure people that the plants are actually labeled correctly then they need a more flexible return policy.

Be very careful at the store, I brought in lighting schedule, ph lvls and pictures. Was told that the colorful plants and trees I bought would be fine in those locations with that amount of lighting. So by the end of the day I had spent around 6k dollars. So I was also sold on the insurance from bonide and was told that I would get money back if something happened to the plants within 2 years, but had to buy all this other products, which I did. Then after the loss of color on all of my plants due to not enough light that I did ask about. Even took down a tree to get extra 2 hours above what I told them I would get, and 3 trees that died, called out green thumbers to make sure it was not a mistake on me, costing me about 1200 dollars minus all the plants I hate now cause they are green another 1000 dollars, I get a 600 bonide insurance check that when I try to use am told 1st has to all used at same time, and 2nd now can only be used for plants. Even though the paperwork and check state ANY MERCHANDISE!!

Stopped by to get a going away present for a coworker. I spent an hour looking around and ended up starting my Christmas shopping! I then decided to grab a sandwich from the deli. In the five minutes it took to make my sandwich, the atmosphere had me hooked and I ended up staying there. Love this place!

Went there to look at trees, and found just what we were looking for with the help of a very informative and friendly employee. He took us through types of tree we were interested in, and he explained, in detail, each one! Didnt get his name, but a big shout out and thank you to him!

Wish I could give this place 0 stars. Unless you are a high school student who is looking for their first job. This isnt a place to work if you are looking for a good source of income.They call themselves a christian company and are a non-discrimination company. But are the most un-accepting company I have ever worked for.

Their house plants are fairly nice, the succulents were not . but everything is ridiculously overpriced there I could get half of the same exact plants for like $15 less at just about any other shop around town .So to each their own but I won’t be coming back to waste extra money on the same plants

Green Thumbers did the flowers for my wedding. They were great to work with, super nice, and the flowers turned our more amazing than I could ever have imagined. They did great bouquets, center pieces and the flower crowns were gorgeous!

Well, nice place but Im wondering how I can stop in store on a Thurs. Pay for my not so cheep plants with a big SOLD on it ((Norfolk pine tree)), Go to pic up on Sunday and sold to someone else? With no Idea who what or when it happens. Incompetent, somthing as little as that makes me wonder .

Extremely helpful staff and they can look up past purchases using your credit card! All stores should have this ability for return purposes (because who keeps receipts in this day and age)

Disappointed. Sent an online order this morning at 8am for same day flower delivery. I received a phone call at 5pm asking if the delivery could go out the following day, as it was now too late. She acknowledged the order time, but said it was delayed. They should not offer same day delivery if they cannot fulfil the commitment. No apology from them.********* AMENDINGI am amending my review to 5 stars, after reading the response from the owner. Had this been explained to me in my original phonecall, I would have NEVER given an unfavorable review, as it was unavoidable. I know issues happen with computers all the time. An explanation and and an apology go a long ways with a customer. Thank you to the owner who really does care about their customers.
