Less than 1 star the store manager Cindy, after tracking her down in the store and asking to be checked out she was very rude. She asked for an ID, I gave it to her then she told me to take my mask off. I said I dont feel comfortable doing that. I repeated my DOB instead. She said she refused to sale to me unless I take off my mask. Despite my better judgment, I removed my mask then she said if I want to be rude about i can get out. By this time she has my money in her hands. I had to ask her to please give me my change. Finally she handed me my change laughed and have a good day. If Cindy IS the manager of the store at 1655 Kimberly in Iowa I think she should be fired 😡

I came here for after halloween candy hunting and the guy working there at night was super nice and helpful. He showed me all of the stuff on sale and then chatted with me a bit about my purchases. I dont normally like coming to cvs, but they should continue being nice to the dude working at night, because I would come more often :)

Love shopping at CVS especially this location. All of the staff is super friendly and always eager to help the moment you walk in the door. Never had a bad experience and shopped this store for many years. Keep up the great customer service and deals! 👍👍

Friendly employees, large selection, good prices and easy to get in and out.

Pharmacy employees are beyond rude.

I always have a good experience here. They do need to possibly update their posted pharmacy hours. Posted hours say they open the pharmacy at 8 am. It is now 8.30 and not open.

Staff has always been friendly, even when dealing with couponers and multiple transactions!

I think it’s awful that you go in and a employee doesn’t know about the photo machines. I thought she worked there.

Whoever does the hiring of clerks for our local CVS stores needs to be commended. I have had the most friendly and efficient clerks at this store and the same awesomeness Ive found at the other Davenport and Bettendorf locations. They are always efficient and at all three stores the clerks are eager to help you find what you need. Then, they go the extra mile by helping you find ways to save money. Im writing this on this particular stores site though because of a clerk who totally made a bad situation into a pleasant experience and caused me to remember my good CVS experiences over the years. .Upon leaving the store, me car would not start. The heat index outside had to be 110+. my phone had lost its charge and with my car battery out of commission, i had no way to call for help. I went back into CVS where the wonderful lady behind the counter asked if had forgotten something. I explained my dilemma to her. She pleaded with me to stay in the building to avoid the heat. I asked her if it would be ok to charge my phone if I purchased a USB port that plugs into an outlet. She told me she already had an iphone charger and she took my phone to hook it up. After waiting awhile for the jumpstart to arrive, I decided to go outside to smoke .. But as someone who smokes sporadically, I had left my lighters at home. When i went up to purchase one, she said no and handed me her lighter to use. I was very grateful for that because I had a ton of lighters at home and didnt need to waste money on another one.This lady treated me like a person would treat a good friend. That kind of relationship style of customer engagement used to be commonplace in stores but in todays marketplace, it is hard to find. She was extraordinarily pleasant and made me think of how she and the clerks in those other CVS stores do seem to be friendlier and more engaging than clerks in other retail stores. Selection, training or good bosses, whichever one it is, keep doing it right CVS and recognize what a wonderful asset these clerks are to your operation . That is what ultimately separates you from your competitors. Hopefully, understanding the might even prompt you to give them a nice salary increase too. They deserve it!
