Maybe it’s a bad day, but maybe I’m just tired of every small task turning into an impossible task with UPS Store. To not have a printer available for customers print labels for returns seems ridiculous. Customer should be able to stop in while running errands & be able to print the return label from their phone and return their items. One star.
Ive never had a poor experience at this store.A lot of the poor reviews below seem to be because the customer didnt know what was expected of them. Typically, if you want to ship something, you provide your own box, package it yourself, tape up the box yourself, and print out your own label. THEN you take that to the shipping provider. If you dont do YOUR side of this exchange, they have the ability to charge your for the convenience of them doing this work for you in the store taking up their time and the time of other people in line.For amazon, when selecting your return option, it tells you specifically whether or not you need to package and label your items or not.DO NOT get upset at the workers because you didnt do your half of this exchange.
Convenient location and the one employee (blonde hair) she is really nice and customer oriented. One suggestion. You should put in your ad that your notary public is only available by appointment only. And perhaps list those times.
I would avoid this place if at all possible. Number one. If you need to use the computer to print anything they are back in the last century running on 56K modem It takes 10 years for Gmail to load took another 10 years to load the label in about 5 years to print it so it felt. Then had to wait in line again to pay for printed label meanwhile they only have one line with one lady ringing people up however they do have to registers to credit card terminals but for some reason we only process the packages over on this side so the lady so they literally have people waiting in one line and then turn around and waiting in another line to pay. It is quite ridiculous. The only highlight of this whole experience was the guy in the back of the line the lady at the other register / not registered I dont know what to call it because they dont accept payments there ask him if he was sending a package which he replied yes and he needed to pay for a label however I interrupted him I told her the lady yeah he doesnt want to go over there and wait in that line and then come back over here and have to wait in line again this place is a joke over 45 minutes to print a label and pay for it.
I came here to do my Amazon returns. It was not clear on the return instructions that I needed to re- package the item and was charge $16 for a box at the store. Thats not my issue.The store clerk Rhonda explained that it was their consolidation policy. I said i understood and was not upset. I became upset when She proceeded to repeat the same thing 3 to 4 more times. I told her again that I understood and it needed no more explaining. She proceeded to repeat the sentence again! I understood and asked you to stop. Very unprofessional.. Ill find somewhere else to do my Amazon returns.
Rhonda is very rude not as rude as the owner.There are other options than going there,and I think they want you to go elsewhere for their convenience
This has nothing to do with the employees of the location; instead the foul business practices of UPS. I went to process an Amazon return at Kohl’s. They told me it had to be done at UPS and then gave me a 15% coupon! I go straight to the UPS store pull out my phone to show the Return label code, they tell me it has to be printed. I can use there computer it costs $2 dollars (that must be the going rate for30 seconds of internet usage?) It will have to be taped that’s $4 (am I buying a whole role?) and it will have to be in a box within the box. (I guess if I have to put my box in another I’ll gladly pay for a box?) I am surprised UPS doesn’t charge you for walking in to the store; like “well you did bring dirt into the office and we have to pay people to clean that will $6.25! Get it together UPS.

My recent Amazon return processed quickly and efficiently. Ive never had a bad experience at this location, whether doing an Amazon return, mailing a package or buying supplies.
Charge you to use their computer to print a label for their own business. Guy decides to tell me I can do it off my phone only after I had used to computer he told me to use. Ill stick to the bettendorf location that has much friendlier and helpful staff.
Poor customer service with a terrible attitude. I guess the ups store doesn’t affiliate with ups and offers no help and feels the need to be rude to its customers asking for assistance or guidance. Will not recommend nor will give my valuable business to them any longer
Ive been there several times, and each time was just fine. I was just there two days ago to ship one package and pick up an odd sized box to use for another shipment. There was only one lady there and between several customers waiting and the phone ringing, she was extremely busy, but very nice and she seemed in control. She took care of me quickly and had me on my way ! I would have been turning the counters over if I had been in her shoes !
Poor customer service. They charge you to use the computer to connect a usb so that you can get print outs. The computer is super slow and takes a very long time to complete the print job. The staff doesn’t do a good job enforcing social distancing at all. People are on top of one another waiting in line.

I messed up my label with returning a product to Amazon. Ripped the package itwas a disaster. Shane knew what to do like the back of his hand and fixed all my mess ups and had the the return out that day.He was super knowledgeable and very friendly!Woot woot for Shane !
No covid precautions, staff not even pretending to wear masks. Sign up that says heroes work here. Not sure whats heroic about ignoring covid and putting customers at risk.
Wanted to get something notarized. They had a sign up stating that it was by appointment only due to Covid-19. Wouldve been nice to know that before we drove over 40 minutes to get there.
The worst customer service ever!! The owner, or manager or whatever she is, is extremely rude and disrespectful.You are better off going to UPS on 76th street even if it takes longer, the Bettendorf store might have better customer service have not tried them yet.

Worst customer service! The last couple times I have been to this store I have encountered the same woman. The first time she was a rude and I thought she was just having a bad day. The next time same today was the last straw for this store! I ran out of boxes at home and asked for one she was so rude! I bought some tape to pack it myself. At this time it was pouring outside I was going to tape it up in the store so i wouldn’t get soaked. The lady rudely said across the store we are a packing service I can charge you to pack it or you have to leave the store. So I left the store and packed it out of my car door in the pouring rain. When I came back in her attitude continued and laughed that I was drenched from head to toe. People like her are the way the world is the way it is. There is no kindness or empathy for what people are going through anymore. I will not be using ups for my small business anymore.
Got there at the last minute before they closed. Took about 5 minutes to ship 2 packages. Fast and friendly. Good attention to detail.
Last time I waited and waited when there was nobody in the store but the clerk. I guess taping the box was more important than helping me.Today I got told my box wasnt very sturdy. It was doubled on all sides and they wanted to charge me $2.99 for an envelope and another $1 for putting a 4 piece of tape on a 1 thick box. I had a prepaid label and thats all I was supposed to need. Not today---we want their money and yours.B.S. for sure.
I have used this store twice now. These people went above and beyond. I needed to box things up. The woman who helped me was slow but diligent. Very thorough in making sure my box was packed well. The gentleman stayed open once after hours to take my shipment and never once complained. They know a lot about specific companies; for example Century Link isn’t prompt with returns keep your receipt. That wasn’t about my shipment but the guy behind the counter shared that with the guy who came in. Yes I think people can always move faster there and that was my only complaint but I am always in a rush so...
The staff rotate working at both stores . I always get exceptional service from the whole crew.

Easy Amazon return
Employees bickering with each other, not sure which one was helping me. Was charged money when I brought a label with me to return some school books, not exactly sure what I paid for. I feel like I got hustled
There is one particular individual who works here who is rude and never helpful. Today I went in to ship some pre-paid returns out. I needed to purchase a box for one, and asked for a box, but was given a bubble mailer. I (wrongly) assumed the employee did this to save me money. The box was $1.99 and the mailer was $3.99, which I found out after I reminded her to ring me up for the purchased mailer. I asked why she suggested the mailer over the box and she explained that with packing and preparing, the box would have cost more. I asked if the box would need to be packed because I was only shipping back clothing, and she said yes. At this point another employee stepped in and said that the clothing just needs to be in bags. I said that they were and that the original employee packed the mailer so she was aware of this. The employee who stepped in then said they charge to tape the box and I then showed her the tape that I had brought from home, which the original employee saw me using. The employee who stepped in simply said thats why I let them pick their own and the original employee said sorry. It was a $2 difference which is slightly annoying but absolutely not the end of the world- Im annoyed that nobody offered to make it right in any way, and on top of that, Ive had issues with the original employee before. Everyone had bad days, but this individual is just rude and either doesnt know whats going on or is trying to ship your items in the most costly way possible. The Bettendorf store is better, but honestly Id just suggest using USPS when possible. Ive had one issue with them and they resolved it immediately, unlike this store.
Actually got a smile and good service from the white-haired older lady, unlike some unpleasant experiences in the past. Maybe the customer service issues were looked into?

This review is specifically to Kathy (Cathy?) in customer service at the UPS hub in Davenport, Ia who really helped me when I called with an issue. I felt that she went above and beyond. I felt like a valuable customer, and I really appreciate this kind of service.
This locations customer service is horrible. I received an email from UPS that my boyfriends package was delivered there and that if I wanted to go pick them up all I need was my photo ID and the tracking numbers. My address on my DL matches the shipping address on the packages as well. So I show up with all the required documents and the girl at the counter (who I might as was quite rude) said because no one called and said someone else was picking the items up she could not help me. So I said well can you call your supervisor/boss and we can discuss what the email from UPS says with her. She said and I quote My boss is out of town until tomorrow, and doesnt have a phone. I looked at her and said, there is no reason to lie to me, its 2017 and shes the owner of the shop she has a phone you just dont want to call. I said thats fine and as I walked out of the store I told her Id be calling corporate and wed get this taken care of. Needless to say when The manager from the Distribution center called the store to talk to this horrible excuse for an employee she said I cant believe you are treating a customer like that, and you are leaving her waiting in your store! Give her my number and have her call me immediately, because this is unacceptable! The girl responded back to her with I dont feel like giving her the packages. Are you serious? If only we could get away with not helping a customer because we didnt feel like it. So this lovely manager at the distribution center on W 76th Street called me personally and told me she was going to have the packages sent to her location and I could come pick them up within the hour. UPS Corporate if you read this, I heard from other employees within UPS that this isnt the first complaint they have received of this location not following the rules and treating customers this way, I would seriously consider taking your name off her location. Its people like her and her employees that give UPS a bad name.

This was the absolute worst experience I have ever had for shipping. I spent one hour in line with only 5 customers ahead of me. This store has 1 employee working by herself two weeks before Christmas. You have got to be joking. I will never use this store or a UPS facility again. Absolutely terribly managed.
I was there today and just left. Worst customer service ever! I will never be going back to the ups store by Northpark Mall. Apparently I was an inconvenience to the woman since I was asking her to do her job. Complete night and day compared to the lovely staff at the Bettendorf ups store. I was also charged an unnecessary amount for 2 minutes of computer use! I dont care about the lousy 2.25 its the principle, and the character of their employees. That woman should be fired for her unprofessional behavior. 0 out of 5 stars in my book.
The owner was very rude and raised her voice with me when i was simply looking for a package. None of my employees will ever use the facility again. If this store was the only way to ship things in the Quad Cities, i would rather hand deliver on foot, no matter the distance!
Employees are extremely helpful and knowledgeable about shipping and give great advice regarding tracking and keeping receipts for proof of shipping.
Wow! You walk in, it reeks of cigarettes. Stale cigarettes. I needed to mail a return to Amazon and this was my first time at this location. They informed me it was going to cost one dollar to tape the label on the box for the free return....Nope. I’ll support my other location that doesn’t reek... or charge for two inches of tape
This place is a racket, anything to find fault with your shipment to up sell. This is a franchise location and not a corporate store stay away.
Most UPS Stores are eager to sell supplies and services. This location seems more interested in finding reasons to say no, than in accommodating the needs of the customer.

Keeps putting wrong packages to wrong addresses at least 2 to 3 times a month to my house. Very lazy.
Had a prepaid international box to ship. Was told they would take it but contents would probably be destroyed. I asked what type of paperwork was needed so items would not be destroyed and they did not know. They were just unwilling to help.
Those people are incompetent. If I had other options Id utilize them.

Rudest staff. Had my mother run in while I sat in the car with my infant son- women behind counter screamed Cant you read?! to her, instead of telling her she was at the wrong UPS location. What is more offensive is the fact my mother has vision problems and actually cant read small print.
Tried calling and asking a question about shipping an item and the lady on the phone could have easily answered the question but redirected me to corperate customer service. Called a different location in the area to get an answer.
