84 lumber is clean fast and fairly priced. Hard to find dimensions are available and usually in stock. I needed 2 x 4, And one by six Cedar, they had it in stock and knew the exact amount. They are friendly knowledgeable and efficient and it’s easy to back in and get your load and go. Thanks again you do a great job I just wanted to let everybody else know how I feel.

DISHONEST... Called in at 8:30AM about Masonite and 3/4 Plywood. Was given a price over the phone and availability of 1,000+ sheets at location. Had one of my guys go pickup the items discussed and price went up 2X within a span of 3hours. Waste of Time. Went to home depot and purchased at a cost of $3.00 more per sheet than initially quoted and not $30.00 more per sheet.

84 Lumber cut my cedar planks to the incorrect lengths and has refused to redo the cut or refund my money...I just purchased 2 pieces of cedar from 84 lumber: 2x8x16 and 2x8x8. BEFORE I made the purchase I asked if the associate would cut each piece to my specified lengths. The associate said no problem. I paid. He proceeded to cut according to these instructions:a)I asked for the 2x8x8 to be cut into two 45 inch length pieces.b) I asked that the 2x8x16 be cut to 10 ft 10 1/4 inches.The associate cut the 2x8x8 COMPLETELY incorrectly, despite these instructions. Somehow he cut a 5ft length piece. He corrected the error and cut a new piece.I did not measure the second piece because after the associates first mistake, and after repeating the measurement 4 times for the second piece, I tried to avoid further embarrassing the him. I expected him to follow the instructions this second time around.When I arrived home, to my horror, I found that the associate cut the 2x8x16 to 10 ft length... NOT 10ft and 10 1/4 inches.It was 10 1/4 inches too short!I immediately called the associate and asked him if he remembered the EXACT measurement I gave him repeatedly. He remembered - 10 ft and 10 1/4 inches. I informed him of his error. His response was that he was cutting the wood as a courtesy and that 84 Lumber would NOT be taking responsibility for the error.If I had know this before hand (courtesy, not service) I would not have bought the lumber there. I did not ask for a courtesy. I asked for a service to be included in the lumber purchase.- Cut the lumber to a specified length.After careful review, I was wondering if possibly the associate had problems with the English language. However, I no longer believe that to be the case. He apparently had a good command of the language. I now believe his problem is ARITHMETIC and education. In retrospect, I should have converted the entire measurement to inches so he could find it more easily on the tape measure:10 ft and 10 1/4 inches = 130 and 1/4 inches.I am convinced the problem is mathematics education. Not language. I will be reporting this to management on Monday and demanding my refund.

After multiple orders over the last few months, I have had nothing but perfection from this location.I was skeptical of going here after reading online reviews, but found myself with all other vendors failing me. Huge inventory and knowledgeable staff. They carries 1.5 tongue and groove lumber which can be hard to come by.

Horrible. Stay Clear of this place! Go to lowes or homedepot prices are great and returns are a breeze. Lumber at 84 is stored outside, warped, good luck returning anything there. I threw my hard earned money away going there. I will never make the mistake again homedepot or lowes, you will be satisfied or they will refund you. Small places are very difficult to deal with not worth your money or your precious time.

We bought some lumber for a project at home today but what really stood out for me was the above and beyond customer service while loading it all into my truck. One employee especially named Xavier worked his butt off in the South Florida mid-day heat to help us tie it all down and secure it (with red flags and everything!). I will come back for more wood just because of Xavier.

I built a fence for my mom, the only guy that seemed to be working that day had no problems helping me with all the boards I needed to load on the truck. He also cut a lot of boards for me on site saving me lots of time on this project . I did have to do a lot of hunting for good straight boards. Thats just part of it though. Best of all the prices are half of what they will charge you at home depot or Lowes

These people are unreal. At the end of a pallet of 2x6s, with warped, twisted, and the ones that still have bark on them, and they wouldnt open a new pallet so l could get some straight ones. Their excuse was they told us not to open another pallet till this one is gone. Trying to sell a less than quality product to me, is just like stealing. Its too bad because l was a faithful customer for 30 plus years. All l needed was some semi- straight 2xs to build a wall, now theyve lost a good customer.

Went looking for a good grade poplar or birch 3/4 plywood. They had about 4 sheets of only, what I suspect was blonde birch, but there was no label so I was not sure. Blonde Birch is not a good quality wood for my project. I asked what type of birch it was and the employee could not answer my question. He then called the supplier and the only info they could give me is that the birch was imported....WTH...needless to say I left empty handed. I gave two stars because the employee did what he could to get info for me and they were courteous.

Be ready to have a very poor customer service.. Plus a increment on price by %50 just in one week.

This is a great one stop shop for commercial contractors. It would be even better if they offered some higher end products.

So came in to find out information about glass railing. Jeff was not familiar with the product but suggested he wil call the company who produce it to find out pricing and how can a gate be installed .20 minutes went by.......nothing. He showed back up when a customer was making and exchange. Didn’t say a word to us just started helping the client.Then when saw we are not happy, asked his co-worker to answer to our questions regarding glass railing.What kind of customer service is this?Actually there was NO customer service.Unprofessional, just unprofessional!!

Most of the time I find what I need their prices went up a little bit but it still reasonable its definitely worth taking a trip the personality on some of them is a little bit atrocious sometimes they could be nice but overall if you need an item its most likely to be here

Was a huge corporate customer for our business, however after watching their TV commercial I am done. The reason they are pro illegal aliens is cause they have so many working there as cheap labor.Stay away, purchase your wood elsewhere with a real company that supports our immigration laws and rules. ILLEGALS are illegal unless they have the proper paperwork and Visas.
