I just had my floor done by Hugo from Distinctive Carpet and tile. He did a very excellent job. My floor looks so perfect and very beautiful. I loved it. I would highly recommend this company. Paul is very informed and knowledgeable in his field. Finding this company after dealing with another horrible company was a blessing. I had to hire distinctive to redo another companies terrible job. Their pricing was very fair and competed with other quotes. Steve (the installer) showed up an hour early and started immediately. Steve was very professional and a very skilled craftsman. All of his cuts and caulking are perfect. His work area was well kept and organized throughout the whole job. He finished 2 elevators for our property in about 7 hours. I will definitely be using them again for future flooring jobs for any of our companies properties.

Paul came to my house to give me a quote on tiling my floors in multiple rooms. 2 days later I went to the store to pick out the tile I wanted. Paul was very knowledgeable and made my decision very easy as he listened to me and knew exactly what I wanted. I had other projects going on in my home at the same time and he scheduled the timing of installing my new floors with the other contractors working on my house. My latest home project was replacing all of my carpet with laminate. I started my search at the Big Box stores but didnt find anything exciting along with their minimal assistance. This was followed by a large flooring supply store with the DIY approach. I did find product I liked but would have to use my contractor who was going to charge top dollar. Finally, I decided to visit the flooring specialists. Distinctive Carpet was the fourth store... and the last.The moment I walked in I met Paul. He immediately made feel comfortable with all of the flooring choices. We laid them out along with a tile from my home and began the process of elimination. Within a short time it was down to 2 choices. We scheduled an appointment (within a couple of days) for measurements and to check the samples with my furniture.He arrived promptly as scheduled and was very professional as we checked each room and closet. I selected my install date, provided the down payment and he was on his way. Very easy.Shortly after, I received a call that the laminate was in and could be installed whenever I was ready. As I had time off of work scheduled, I kept my original date several weeks in the future.As scheduled Hugo arrived on our set date. He was fantastic! His work was meticulous treating my furniture with kid-gloves. He worked quickly and very efficiently while cleaning behind himself.Everyone was great to work with and I have already recommended Distinctive to a friend.

This is my second time dealing with Paul at Distinctive Carpet & Tile, and I cannot say enough good things about this company. We originally bought laminate from them 4 years ago, and they steered us in the direction of a beautiful, high end product, that was still reasonable (same price through their store as what I was seeing via online discount outlets). When it was time to redo the tile floors, we went back. There is no high pressure sales tactics or push to use their installers. They provide advice and recommendations when asked, and they are super accommodating. When a change in plans caused us to need more tile in a hurry, they called the distributor and had more boxes ready for my contractor to pick up in less than a day. We wouldnt hesitate to do business with them again.

When my parents went to Distinctive Carpet and Tile, I thought this was going to be yet another story of complaints. To my surprise, they were not only extremely happy with the service and installation but they couldnt stop raving about the two owners: Paul and Jason Lieberman. I later found out that this business was started by their father who has since retired so I think this is very special that this store is really family and quite the generations of store owners. They have been around for years and after having met them myself while in the area on vacation, I was also pleasantly greeted. These guys are just down to earth and you feel right at home. Their pricing was very competitive, we waited less than a business week for our flooring to arrive and it was delivered to our house by Distinctives installer. There was no hidden cost for delivery. He took care installing all the base board molding for us as well. We are thrilled with the end result!For those of you thinking of shopping the discount tile warehouse . . . Dont be fooled. Visit Jason & Paul before you buy! We started at the oversized warehouse, shopped on our own without a knowledgeable flooring person to help us make the right choice. It took days, multiple trips in an effort to tie everything together. We purchased from that warehouse and as soon as installation started, we learned the tile was cupped (warped) and made in China. That meager savings was used up in delivery fees and the inferior product cost us every step of the way through the renovation. Dont get me wrong . . . the sales people were very nice. However, they could not offer the expertise and experience needed during selection and installation that Jason & Paul provided.Shopping at Distinctive supports our local economy and that is good for any community. They operate on their reputation and new business is brought in by recommendation. As a result, they take the extra initiative needed to satisfy their customers. Shopping at the big warehouse will save you a few bucks at time of purchase but include the delivery cost before calculating your savings. More importantly, what will it cost us long term. That purchase supports the big corporation that is clearly providing inferior product purchased oversees.
