I never thought I would be making a positive post about an experience at a Pawn Shop, but Ive been having trouble finding a nice camera because of availability do to COVID.I found a great camera by calling Peoples Pawn and the experience was great.They gave me the time I needed and were all around helpful.I highly recommend them.

Walked in just looking, asked about the laptop selection and was shown what they had. I asked to power on the device so I could see a component, the device was dead so I requested the adapter. And I was asked are you sure you gonna purchase it?. I (came, saw and money in hand) explained that if I could see it power up and if the device had what I needed I would purchase it without a doubt. The guy was still a little reluctant to go get the adapter. So I offered to go to my vehicle and research the device based on the limited information. While in the car I was able to find the same device due to Google search much cheaper and I was able to order it without the 21 questions. I dont know how they have remained in business treating potential customers like that. Maybe he didnt like my mask or trust my patronage.

Great offers and prices .... Lady and gentleman I dealt with were straight shooters and gave me the best price right off the bat ... Had to go to 3 other places before coming here, and ended with 15 dollars of a difference. Easy to Negotiate with and there is a reason its called Peoples Pawn. Again great staff and best price possible is given right away, the employees even take the time to show you what your item is going for on EBay auction, and they tell you the maximum and minimum they could end up making themselves.

Came here 2 weeks ago to get prices on used jewelry. I was quoted $240 walking in. No deal or negotiating, just walking in. I walk in today to question the same piece of jewelry, they quote $300. I make a deal for $200, they come back with $250. I dont understand their pricing strategy, especially if the gold price per oz has decreased. When I went originally it was $1331 per ounce and today its at $1320. How do your prices go up and the pennyweight is lower? Then I tell the gentleman he is over pricing his quote and he disregards it. I dont know about the rest of their merchandise, but I certainly dont think their pricing on jewelry is ethical. I wont be returning anymore. Its a shame, they have pretty things.
