This review is based on customer service and not work performed. I dont know their work, so I cant give any feedback.I wanted to do a CUSTOM transom folding seat for a boat that I just purchased, did some research online, and I didnt like the quality of pre-made ones. So K & G was the first company that one of my employees contacted, he explained what we were looking for, and we sent a very detailed picture with drawings illustrating that we have the hardware so well need just the frame. We sent a picture of the location where the seat should be, and 3 hours later, we received a text saying: is cheaper to buy online, just said, thanks, and he replied, you welcome.  So I told my employee to go with me and visit some other local companies. And Im glad that I did, found another shop (not mentioning names, not to create an issue for anybody). After talking with one of the salespeople he wanted to meet the owner, the owner stopped what he was doing and came and greed us. After chatting for a little bit, the owner said, can I take a look on the boat? We took him to the boat location, and we discussed the project, he gave me a price, and he pointed out other things, and we came back to the company. After explaining everything, we close the deal on the seat frame, and we end up doing a new T-top for the boat. Signed the contract and gave him the deposit and in 2 days hell send somebody to take the measurements and start fabrication. My issue with K & G was, the first thing they said was, everything in boat is expansive, asked our budget (something that a customer should never say) and we never received an estimate, just a text message is cheaper to buy online. I hope this review help improve customer service at K & G, and I wish them all the best. We need to support our local business so, my suggestion for anyone reading this review is that dont discourage yourself if you receive this kind of treatment, shop around because there is plenty of hardworking people willing to help you with your project. So I came today to this shop to see if they could fabricate Two pieces of metal for my boat, Very professional guy named Oliver came out and helped me out, 4 hours later I get a picture text with the parts done and ready for me to pick them up! This was the third job K&G has done for me. By far the largest physically. Since I live in NE Florida all fabrication has been based on the diagrams I provided and a few photos shared along the way. All work has matched my specifications exactly. I remain very pleased with their work and will continue to use them although Im 250 miles away. As they continue to grow and get more business, I hope they continue to value their smaller customers like me.

We hired k&g to fabricate fwd support for our Bimini top and they exceeded our expectations. All of their work was super clean and welds were polished so well it looked like one solid piece of stainless. Will definitely hire them for our next stainless job!

I can recommended them 100%. The job was perfect and everything was fine with the installation. It was a process that many people do not know how to do it, but they handle it very well because they know what they are doing it. Great team. Carlos at K&G renamed my boat. I though this was a simple task, but it needs the Gell coat to be repaired once the old name and hailing port was removed. This was a lot of work, as screw holes and glue damage needed repaired, then the transom repainted before attaching the new letters.. They did a great job. Highly recomended. Nick

K&G Marine is an honest and reliable company that will get the job done right, and in a timely manner. I recommend K&G to anybody in need of repairs or custom work in south Florida.I had a different management company overseeing the refit of a 1999 95’ motor yacht, and after 10 months of seeing no end in sight, we asked K&G to take their place and get us across the finish line. They got to work right away and completed all work on-time. Replaced the old teak swim-deck with new non-skid, painted the rebuilt MTUs, fiberglass repairs and paint matching several areas of the vessel that were damaged under the management of the previous refit manager, built a custom stainless-steel electric stairlift, repaired and polished all of the exterior stainless hardware (hauspipes, handrails, windscreen frame, boarding ladder etc), welded a leak in the 1250-gallon Lazerette fuel tank... just to name a few. The list was very extensive.They take pride in the quality of their craftsmanship and have a reliable and respectful team of employees.
