I am sad to report that I stopped by the good ol’ CD Trader yesterday and half of the shelfs were taken down and the owner said they are getting ready to close for good soon due to a personal family emergency. This one is definitely a bummer because this is one of the ONLY places that ever offered fair prices for trade ins and has fair prices for what they sold in store. I forgot to ask when their official closing date is but regardless you should stop by sometime before they officially close and maybe grab something on the way out. Support local business!!

His attention to detail is so great that once he received an item that he knew my husband would love and saved it for him. I highly recommend this store!

This place is amazing! The owner is a real gentleman, and their selection is incredible. They have new and old games, lots of DVDs, blue rays and plenty of cds and records. If you ever want to find some real gems you should definitely check this place out.

CD Trader always has awesome modestly priced media, friendly staff and owner. Been shopping at CD Trader for over 20 years now and theres a good reason theyve been in business so long. Must stop in if youve ever wanted any vintage games.

Beyond phenomenal service by all of the employees, especially the manager George. He was willing to put an NES on hold for us without any issue and was extremely helpful, informative and kind when it came down to getting it to work when we had problems with it since its such an old console. Angel was also very helpful and informative about everything as well. CD Trader will be my go to place for retro video games and I highly recommend coming here for games, movies and CDs. 100/100

We absolutely love coming here for the antique consoles and games, but we also find a lot of music and movies we cant find elsewhere (in person). They also have an arcade machine with retro games you can play, and snacks and drinks. Such a great time.

Great local store for Used Video Games, Gaming Consoles and accessories (current, retro, imports, etc..), Blu-ray, DVD, and Vinyl. George is great and pretty fair with trade-in offers. Hes even kind enough to suggest when you may want to keep an item based on the current market value. Support your local shops.

Literally the best prices Ive seen in south Florida for retro games, vinyl & everything else, as well as excellent customer service. Ive purchased tons of things from them & every disc has been pristine. Cant recommend highly enough.

Will not bother to trade to them again-- you do not get much of a deal at all! They can and will also reject your items if you have a multiple and or just plain out they do not want them (even if in wrap still and or perfect condition and a good CD or DVD (expect a lame excuse why)). Their selection is average. The vibe aint right and the employees are not that warm and inviting-- kinda fake, borderline rude and aloof. The place is clean and parking is ample. IF you can find it (none of the signs stick out to find it high key difficult). I will Never buy from them. I will Not trade to them ever again. Not worth it at all. Not worth the travel. Zero star.

Best Retro Gaming store in South Florida hands down! Multivest in North Miami are outrageously expensive! Go look for yourself. Cd trader doesn’t have a very big selection, but their prices are very reasonable! From time to time they will have some very good/rare titles when you least expect it. So it’s good to check on their social pages for updates and recent trades. A good mix of retro and modern stuff, but mostly retro. CD trader is THE ONLY PLACE TO GO FOR YOUR GAMING NEEDS in South Florida.

My girlfriend and have been going to CD trader for years, before it moved to the new location. The staff is always very helpful and friendly. The vibe of the atmosphere is so chill with the pictures and the music in the background. George is a great guy to get to know while visiting CD Trader because he takes the time to help everyone even though he is the owner, thats how welcoming he makes the shop.

Support this local shop please. I visited another one like it in some god awful place and everything about it made me want to write this review. The pricing and the service, the owner here is a beast and knows his stuff. We had a conversation about fake GBA cartridges and I wish this person can just tell me everything he knows. Everything is just priced amazingly and just overall a breath of fresh air. I will never visit any other place going forward just for that level of consistency. This store is simply amazing. The first time I went there based on a recommendation from a friend, I was extremely skeptical, but this place simply defied my expectations. Prices for all of their products are fair across the board, and they have a surprising amount of retro video games for sale. I regularly drive down from West Palm because I simply havent found another store like this one. It also helps that the service is great too.

Finally decided to come here to dvd hunt and I am so glad! Large selection of movies both new and older and had some great kid classics! Movies seem to range from $2.99-7.99 but all prices for specific DVD’s were very fair! Will be returning for sure atleast once a month now. Oh also the staff was very nice and helpful which is big for South Florida!

Low priced DVDs. There are hundreds of titles and all at a good price. I got all 8 seasons of Dexter for $40.00. You cant beat that with a stick.

In this store they sale records sealed with nylon when you open the disc can be broke and scratched, it happened to me, they stole the money of the costumers. I asked to the sales person and he told me he warranted those vinilo. I was reading the reviews and they are lying is not true, be careful !

Im glad that theres still a place that I can go to for classical as well as modern gaming merchandise this day and age! And their movie collection is insane! I wouldnt go anywhere else for Blu-rays.

Its easy to get to, theres plenty of parking, and the plaza is clean, well-lit, and safe.The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and obviously PASSIONATE about their jobs. Theres a games specialist on staff who is crazy into 8-bit, 16-bit and early CD-based systems. This is THE PLACE in Broward for classic gaming.Ive sold here, and always found the prices to be fair, if not generous. Sure, if youre bringing in something that sold a billion copies and can be found anywhere, youre not going to get much. But that stuff doesnt SELL for much, either. On the other hand, Ive sold rare video games for more than I ever expected. Of course theres got to be room for mark up, its a business after all, but Ive never felt cheated.And the other side of that coin is, of course, GREAT PRICES for the vast bulk of their stock. Most DVDs are like $2.99. That cant be beat. Theres a TON of music at that price, too. CDs and vinyl, if youre into that.

They have just celebrated their 25th anniversary and while it is hard to believe I have been visiting their store for 25 years. This place is good if youre looking for some form of an optical disc formats or old video games. They dont have a great selection of vinyl records.

Best place to get deals on movies, CDs, and games. I dont even live in the area but illae the effort to drive by here and see whats up. Im not much into gaming anymore but its way easier to get CDs here than to dig around at the swap shop or at Goodwill.

Best place I have found so far in south Florida for retro games. Prices for retro games are way better then GameStop online but GameStop consoles are a little cheaper and refurbished. I wish they had a larger selection but there is a cute woman that works there that can talk video games so that makes up for the small selection. This will be a better place as long as you tell your friends to trade there stuff in here so I can buy it. Oh and hopefully they change there name so we can understand that they do retro games and systems without searching so hard because Im lazy.
