A great place in such a nice area with incredible prices. They have fit my partner in as a walk in both times (got lucky). They are always so nice and she comes back learning something every time. They are quick when it comes to trims and styling. This is a go to spot to get prepared anytime we come for an event around Sacramento. The bumble products are reasonably priced and she has loved each one we have tried so far. Highly recommend coming to this cozy little spot in Davis.

I waited 3 weeks for my hair to get done and when I finally went in for my appointment the stylist told me that my service would require more time and she booked all day. My hair is short length Keep in mind I went in @ 9:00 am. Then I told her 3 times how I wanted my hair lights done she said how do you want it done !? Like she didn’t understand So I I just said ok. Well I walked out quietly. Told her thank you.Never again I will mention to my family and friends my experience and co-workers and government co-workers.

I have been to many salons in my time, but by far Elizabeth Picasso is DEFINITELY the mecca of all hair salons. It is the epitome of what a salon should and can be. Picasso is where you walk in. look around and say, I have finally arrived. My wife and I were so impressed how all the hairdressers there are truly masters of their craft. They are INCREDIBLE!! It was amazing to see how Deyda, so patiently transformed my wifes limp head of hair into a Picasso work of art. The salons owners Elizabeth and Steve are also extremely knowledgeable, always professional and always so very happy to see you. Consequently, the salon is lively, filled with happy patrons as they see their hair go through an amazing transformation! Please do yourself a favor and go to this absolutely wonderful salon. This was my first time coming to this salon and getting a balayage. The service was amazing and everyone was very welcoming! Deyda did my hair and it came out amazing. Better than I expected! She’s amazing and very outgoing so that’s a plus!! Definitely going back soon!

Got an appointment after hour at 8pm with Max. We arrived a bit early and waited for 15 minutes. No one showed up! I texted and called and no answer, and no follow-up whatsoever. I would understand if the stylist wants to cancel last minute but please let us know!

Visited for my first time. Originally cut by Mai and finished off by Elizabeth. Both did a fantastic job with the huge chop. Extremely nice and I believe I got a discount for the appointment being a bit late (I called in the same day though so that wasnt super surprising). Excellent service.

Liz has been doing my hair for quite a few years now. We have been through many styles and cuts, she has never disappoints. Best salon: expert service and warm, friendly stylists!!! Definitely worth the visit. Great product line too! Not expensive compared to other places.About a month ago, I decided last minute on a Saturday to cut my hair short. I called, and even though they were booked solid for the day, offered to squeeze me in within the hour. Deyda was a sweet heart, and so professional. She washed, cut and styled my hair within half an hour! I absolutely loved it! It exceeded my expectation and I immediately received compliments on the style from friends and family. Phenomenal customer service! I love this place. Today was the 2nd time I had been seen at Picasso. My first time I was seen by Mai...she’s pretty awesome...and is the reason I ended up going back. I thought I had made an appointment with Mai but it turns out that she wasn’t even in & that’s when Elizabeth steps in and offers to take over and I gladly accept. Elizabeth definitely knows what’s she’s doing...she listens to her customers, she’s patient and very friendly as the other hair stylists. Im a hair novice. I tell every stylist Ive ever had, I want something that requires nothing more than a blow dryer to style. Other than that, youre the expert here, and Ill basically say yes to anything you ask.With my limited instructions, Maria did a FANTASTIC job. Easily the best haircut Ive ever had. Plus, the products she used smelled fantastic.Maria was also kind enough to give this novice a small education. She taught me what types of products to try out, how to style my hair in some other low-stress ways, and even what to ask for from future stylists since I liked the cut so much.10/10 will visit Maria again.

I had an appointment with Deyda today and it went so well! I wasnt sure what I wanted exactly, so I showed her a series of pictures with the hairstyles I was interested in and in the end she gave me a cut that I left the salon feeling confident about. Great haircuts for men! Ive gotten a haircut from Picasso a few times and each time I really enjoyed my haircut. Any length too! I went after not getting a haircut for a year, so it was pretty long and Ive slowly been getting shorter and shorter haircuts. Never dissapointed!

Elizabeth is awesome!! I called her on a Thursday to see if she could trim my hair on the following Saturday morning and she got back to me almost immediately. I explained that I am a black woman with very curly hair and asked if I could come in for a trim with my hair already straightened. Long story short, she got me in at 7:30am that Saturday, before she opened at 8am.I have had negative experiences over the years with several hair dressers in several cities. I have a hard time trusting people with my hair because of bad haircuts, bad blow-drying techniques, and just bad customer service overall (showing up an hour late, overbooking and putting clients on the back burner for others, and burning my forehead!!!)Elizabeth has a very gentle and structured cutting technique, and listens to your requests and delivers! She is polite and very personable. I enjoyed talking to her and watching her transform my damaged split-end infested hair to a perfectly cropped mane. It has been years since someone has cut my hair with such skill and care. Plus, she finished, with no rush, in time to start on her 8 oclock client on time.I will be coming back and will try other services offered by Miss Elizabeth, who assured me that she can handle my curly hair.Thank you, Elizabeth!

I came here for the first time today, hoping the reviews were accurate, and I was quite happy! I saw Deyda for a men’s color and cut. She’s delightful, and I’m very happy with the service. The salon has a homey feel: it seems like a professionally repurposed house, with a handful of the staff’s kids hanging around. It’s a really nice atmosphere. And the price was great! Highly recommended.

I’ve gone here for three years. Elizabeth knows how to cut asian hair. I find it really hard to find a hairdresser who can manage my thicc hair. I have so much hair that I only cut an inch but the entire floor is covered with hair. I’m surprised I haven’t broken any scissors yet. Elizabeth is also really good at telling what kind of hair you have and what works for your face. My hair is straight but puffs up if too short so she always layers it well and makes sure not to cut it too short. I love how relaxed the environment is. I don’t feel stressed out and the music is fun. Hair is always a stressful time for me so I’m glad she makes it a better experience each time. I need to get a hair cut soon. Should stop by but that midterms vibe lol

I got the best Brazilian blowout and highlights, my hair color turned so beautiful smooth and shiny the stylist use olaplex to ensure my hair stays in good condition, she was very fun to talk to, I made my appointment last minute and the stylist stay after hours tp accommodate me due to my work schedule, this is the best salon in Davis wonderful costumer service

Apparently they don’t “specialize” in black peoples hair. I walked in to get a roll & set blowout and the lady tells me “unfortunately today (out of all days) i don’t have what i need to do “your type of hair.” Honestly appalled. I wish i would have said more but i left in disbelief.
