From the beginning Drew explained every detail of what would happen during the process. When Michael and Joe arrived, they quickly got to work. The entire heat and AC system was installed properly and promptly. Im very happy with all that was done. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and courteous. Kudos to all involved.

We have been using McAfee H & A to maintain our in-home heating and air conditioning for about 3 years. We have been very satisfied with our service and planned to have them replace both systems in the near future. Unfortunately our furnace decided to expedite that decision at the end of February and we found ourselves in a COLD house. We reached out to McAfee and someone was available to quote the new system/s the next day. Drew E. thoroughly discussed all options, accessories, installation inclusions & costs. We were put on the next available date on the following week. On the day of the installations, our technicians, Michael F and Ken S arrived on time and got right to work. Care was taken to cover traffic areas and their work was done expeditiously, with attention to detail and workmanship. After all installation was completed, another employee, Chris, availed himself to cover in great detail the new, sophisticated thermostat control for both systems. We were thrilled to put away our “space heaters” and enjoy the comfort of a quiet and efficient furnace once again. Special thanks to all who were involved in making that happen. A Customer for life. Their experienced salesman Danny P. provided the right quality system for our needs which included a dehumidifier. Their on site metal shop custom made our HVAC base for a perfect fit to ensure no leaks around the base of the unit. Installers Michael F. and Joe C. were responsive to our questions and feedback doing a superb job ensuring a well sealed, clean installation of both interior and exterior units. We also took advantage of their monthly maintenance plan which includes all filters, check ups and repairs FOR LIFE, at about $40 a month. Why go anywhere else?

I must say this was the best experience Ive ever had. Mike and Joe did an outstanding job. Very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. They went over how and what they were going to do. No pressure on other products and services but did mention about them. Good stuff here folks.

McAfee sent out a technician the same day I called. An approximate time of arrival was agreed upon, and Robert (the technician) called me 15 minutes before he was going to show up at my house. Robert assessed the situation quickly and explained everything in easy terms that I could understand and we discussed a couple of options. Robert was very down to earth and easy to communicate with. Furthermore, Robert was professional and very respectful of my home, and wore shoe coverings before entering. I dont have a single negative comment to add to the experience.

Mike and Joe were very nice and friendly and done a great job cleaning our air ducts and they even suggested a air purifier which I purchased. The I waveR and they installed while they was here. I recommend to all my friends and family to use McAfee. We just bought this house about 4 months ago and the McAfee system was here already so I called McAfee and we got on the family comfort plan we had them come out about our humidifier. It needs a new solenoid which I will have installed in the fall. I also made appointment to have the A C tune up done in a few weeks. Thank you so much McAfee you are definitely the best.

We had our air ducts cleaned out by Mike and Jason. They were very respectful of our home and pets and did a very thorough job. They took some before/after photos of our ductwork that were pretty incredible. We had decades of pet hair buildup and the guys were able to remove it in a matter of minutes. On March 4, 2021 Michael F. and Ken S. installed a new heating/air conditioning/thermostat system in our house. Professional, friendly, knowledgeable guys. Sloppy and non-user-friendly business practices. Spring checkup showed the A/C contactor needed replaced and the condenser coil needed cleaned. Approximately $350. Service tech suggested a package for $387 to include also replacing the capacitor. Approved. Wanted payment on completion by either credit card or check. No Itemized bill available to document the work done or to explain the actual end cost of $398. No receipt for the check I wrote. Very sloppy, unprofessional, unacceptable.

I do not recommend this company whatsoever. They were at my house for less than 10 minutes upon arrival and refuse to leave an estimate due to the fact that we had an appointment later on in the day with another company for another quote. Also the fact that both my husband and I were not present they would not leave a quote with just my husband. The salesman stated that they are extremely expensive and if we are shoppingaround then this is not the company that we would want to go with. I spoke with him on the phone about how I was not happy that he wasted not only his time but my husbands time by not providing an estimate. He was extremely rude and not professional. I called the office to speak with his manager to let her know how disappointed and unbelievably blown away I was by his unprofessionalism and disrespect that he had with me and my husband and did not satisfy my needs as a customer looking for a new business to install hour heating and air units. I was told she was too busy to speak to me and she would call me back and have yet to hear back from her. I have never experienced this kind of customer service from any business before and I am in shock for the way that they handled this. I would say to keep looking do not even give this company the time of day to be treated at such a level especially for how expensive and the amount of money that you would be handing them!

Wonderful experience. Had my ducts cleaned after a remodel. They took before & after pictures & what a difference. Mike & Ken worked hard & very knowledgeable. Would use again.

AC circuit breaker was tripped and my safety disconnect burnt. Called them in the late afternoon and was given an appt for the next morning.Troy showed up shortly after giving me a call he was on his way. He confirmed the issue with the safety disconnect and went to work repair after providing what the cost is. The diagnostics and repair took roughly a hour and half. Troy was friendly and answered my question throughly.Was offered their Care Family plan for $20 which also provides a discount on the current and future repairs as well as them coming out twice a year to tune up the AC and furnace. I bought the plan to stay on top of maintenance. If I don’t find any value in the plan then I’ll call to cancel it.

The service was great. Michael F and Steve L were great. They were on time, very professional and friendly. They explained everything that they were going to do. When they finished, they cleaned the area and left it as it was when the arrived. They gave a great education on furnace operation and the thermostat.

Our heater went out around midnight on the coldest night of the year. After calling several companies for emergency services (several which claimed to be 24 hour and never called us back), most of which either didn’t have the part in stock at the moment (an ignitor) or couldn’t be there until the next morning- we finally called the company we should have called first. McAfee not only answered (a real person), but had someone at our house in less than 30 minutes. The repairs were made quickly and the technician let the heat cycle a few times to ensure it was working properly (about 15 minutes). Even better, they beat everyone else’s prices for emergency service and repair. The technician was professional and courteous. We are loyal to McAfee now! Thank you for such amazing service!

What can be said about this company that hasn’t already been stated? Our furnace was acting up and we decided to call McAfee to take a look at it. Well the furnace was on the last legs (20 years old). The technician that came out stated that he could fix it up, but it was only a matter of time. We decided to have a sales person come out and give us an estimate. Upon arriving he gave us many options and saved us money by recommending what was appropriate for our home, because we thought bigger was better. I also asked him to look at our dinosaur of a air conditioner (31 years old). Once again we thought bigger was better. The salesperson let us know he would happily install a more powerful air conditioner, but it wasn’t needed.We did end up replacing both units and enrolled in their amazing comfort club. EVERY person that came out from McAfee (Tyler, Justin, Mike, Conner and the others that I forgot) were professional, punctual and well trained.I can not say enough about this company and it’s employees. Also the owner does so much for the Dayton Community we decided to stay local and support local.

I called Mcafee at 8:45 am on a Sunday after waking up to find my heater wasn’t working. They sent a great tech (Troy) who had my heater working by 10:45 am, and for a very reasonable price. I’ll definitely be using Mcafee for my HVAC needs in the future.

I just had my air ducts cleaned and I am extremely satisfied with McAfee. From the First call to schedule the appointment to the service technicians Mike and Cody everything was done professionally. When I first called the receptionist was professional and asked appropriate questions about the number of ducts that my house had and I had 14 and was quoted $675. When the technicians came, they were professional and wanted to keep me safe during the Pandemic and were very careful about distance and working throughout my house. When they started working they found my vents glued down and had to move to the attic. I had 1 duct in my kitchen that was very dirty and they allowed me to clean and continued doing other work to allow me time to clean it. They clean up after themselves also. Extremely professional. If there was a higher number I would give it. Great experience and will highly recommend to family and friends.

We are members of the McAfee Comfort club so when our heat went out we utilized our membership and called for service. The repairman and salesman came out the next day. We chose to replace vs repair a 22 yr old system. We were able to upgrade to a high efficiency hybrid system with a heat pump and air purifier for $3000 less than the other online quotes. The service technicians were right on time, very courteous and professional. Michael is obviously an expert in his field and believes in the products. Both he and Ken were friendly and patient with our many questions. It’s such a relief to know the pros are only a phone call away when we need them.

Mike and Cody provided prompt, exceptional service, especially during difficult times. They were fast, informative, and helpful with explaining ways to maintain good air quality in our home. McAfee is great! Our furnace stopped working on Thursday night. With two small kids, it was important that we got our heat working as quickly as possible. Someone called me back early Friday morning and we had a technician at our house that afternoon. Charles M. was awesome! He was very friendly and personable. He quickly diagnosed the problem and wasted no time getting it repaired. He was also very open and honest about how much longer we had on our furnace. Providing honest advice that we will need to replace in the near future. In addition, we had yet to have our yearly maintenance done on our furnace. Since we are part of the Comfort Club, Charles went ahead and completed the maintenance so we wouldnt have to schedule another appointment to have that completed. I just had my spring checkup with Daniel and he was great. He was efficient and knowledgeable about the items he was working on. He was also considerate - he knew I was working from home and asked permission before bringing in his shop-vac to clean up a few things under our attic entrance.

I had my vents cleaned using their service. There was a little confusion on the time of arrival but they were very responsive when I called to confirm. Customer service is obviously important to this company. After calling around in the area, their price was the best and then I found a coupon on the website. The guys that came out, Mike and Cody, were experienced, friendly, and helpful during the entire process. They were even concerned with my cat getting out during the process. I knew that ducts in my newly purchased home were pretty bad since I would clean and then find dust and dog hair all around the vents. They showed me before and after pictures, which I appreciated. Im sure that my heat pump will need replaced before too long and Ill definitely be using McAfee, based on this experience.

Our thermostat was showing an error that was locking out our cooling just as the temperature was turning hot. McAfee had Charles out within a couple of hours (fortunately he was already scheduled to be in the area) and he got things fixed very quickly. McAfee has always been great to me, very reasonably priced, and the technicians have always been knowledgeable and charismatic. One technician actually said God Bless after servicing my AC. Definitely made me feel comfortable, he didnt try to upsale me, it made me proud to be one of their customers. I will be using them for as long as I can.

I cannot recommend McAfee Heating & Air Conditioning highly enough. They just completed our winter Comfort Club inspection, and as usual they made it an easy and pleasant experience - from scheduling the appointment to the technicians completing the service. I especially appreciate the efforts that are made to communicate with the customer in multiple ways (phone, text, and email) so I knew what to expect and when. Nathan and another technician called in advance, arrived promptly, and were both friendly and completely professional in their attitude and appearance. They went straight to work, did a thorough job both indoors and out, and left our home as clean as they found it. One issue I pointed out to Nathan (an odd vibrating sound) was addressed quickly and was found to be a quick, easy, and free fix (a piece of insulation touching a fan blade). I appreciate the honesty in this situation, as some companies surely would have diagnosed a much more expensive repair. McAfee knows how to treat customers, and is a model of how businesses should operate.

My A/C went out last night and was blowing hot air. I called first thing this morning. A happy voice picked up the phone and scheduled my appointment for later in the day. Perfect! Ended up getting a call about an hour later cause another appointment dropped so I was able to get service sooner. That was great to hear! Jason called to let me know he was on the way and did an absolutely fantastic job! Walked me through everything ensuring I knew what he was doing. He has great people skills and great customer service which, sadly, is something you don’t see these days. He had me up and running and actually cooking my house a few degrees cooler than before! We had great conversation and honestly I enjoyed the service that was provided! Thank you Jason, you represent your company well.

Charles spent about 90 minutes checking our system end to end and found it to be bone dry. He filled it and said it should work fine; however, if it should fail again it would likely mean an outdoor coil replacement (approx. $2,700). He was professional and courteous the entire time. Heres hoping his repair works!!

We had a problem with our return vent and I thought of McAfee almost immediately because I had heard good things about them. Called on a Friday afternoon and the pleasant lady answering helped us out and Troy and Zachary were here in about an hour .Very professional guys who were honest about fixing the vent gave us a quote and did great job. Jason James came out to do a diagnostic on my heating unit and he was very knowledge and professional. He took the time out to explain what what may be going on with it and why it could be icing up. He also took the time to go over the thermostat and what would be optimal at certain times. I would highly recommend. Looking forward to having a well working unit for the upcoming winter!
