Sephora offers an impressive selection of makeup but fall short a little bit on fragrance selections. Staff all seem friendly and polite. Would be a great fit for some people and not so great for others. Just depends on what youre looking for.

My wife really enjoys shopping here. She saw a new facial moisturizer online and wanted to try it. However it was not out on the shelf. An employee was not aware of the particular product but she asked a fellow staff member who knew exactly what my wife wanted and went into the back room and got her the product. This kind of service is one reason why my wife is a VIB member at Sephora.

I stopped in last week in a hurry to get about 10 items from all different brands throughout the store. It would have taken me forever to find them by myself! Heather was amazing and got me in and out in a hurry AND recommended some new/replacement products that I absolutely love! Thanks Heather!

I went here the other day to get more foundation. They had me use hand sanitizer before I went in and gave me this basket. A staff member took me to some foundations. I found them too expensive for my budget, so they took me to some cheaper ones. They chose a color for me, since we couldnt test them. They color was slightly off for my skin tone, but it works. Props to them for getting it close when we couldnt test the colors. They were very obviously knowledgeable in this area. If you are looking for a new concealer or foundation, but you dont know how to properly chose for your own skin tone, I would recommend going here for it. After that, they offered me some eye shadows, but I dont need any and I had most of those colors already. The other employees were very nice and polite and seemed happy to be doing their jobs. The trip was quick and easy. I gave it five stars, since taking in the circumstances, they did very well.

Went with my daughter and she was happy with her purchase. She was asked if she needed help multiple times and when she did take it, she was happy with the choices provided.

Gross. Everything was made in China. Who would put that on their skin? You can go to TJ Maxx and find high quality American and European products for less.

I was in recently to pick up some new makeup. We had a family photo shoot coming up and I felt my routine needed updating. A young male sales associate helped me pick out a few products and darn it, I look amazing in these photos! He was spot on with matching my foundation and under eye concealer to my skin tone and needs. And he helped me pick out a very easy and neutral eye color for everyday wear. I’ll be back!

I’m not sure why, but I always have a bad customer service experience at this Sephora. Today I had to leave because I wasn’t wearing the “right” kind of mask. I get it, but there were other people in the store that had cloth masks on and typical m95 masks don’t fit my face that well. How is that safer?

I usually just walk-in and look around if I need anything. That evening I decided to purchase a hair-dryer. All the staff were very nice when I walked out with an item. However, when I got home, I noticed that no points were added to my account on my receipt (I should have checked before I left the store), so I wanted to go back to the store to see whether the cashier added my points to the right account. The whole attitude changed. The manager was super rude saying theres nothing they can do to fix that in-store. They keep asking me whether I have multiple accounts and I told them no. They scanned the receipt and the points that showed up did not match the points that I was suppose to have. They just kept insisting that it was the right account. The manager gave me the customer service # to Sephora which I could have easily googled it. I was reluctant because I spent $425 and I just did not want to deal with this issue that I was not responsible of. THE MANAGER SAID, YOU CANT CALL? I came back home called customer service and sure enough, they could not find this purchase under my account. This store has very limited number of selections anyways. I wont be back.

Im an instacart shopper and a guy that never has anything to do with makeup, so naturally when I got an order for sephora I was like welp....Im screwed. I get to the store, person meets me right at the entrance and I was like I have no idea what Im doing. He was like I gotchu. Had everything within 10 minutes and made my day was easier.

It always happens! I went into the store for one item and came out with four! The people are so knowledgeable and they really know their product line, which makes it easy to find what Im looking for. Sephora is one of my favorite stores at the Greene! They carry all the best product lines - it is my go-to retailer!

The staff was phenomenal! They took care of my every need and concern during my visit. They were friendly professional knowledgeable and willing to help! Faith was amazing give her a raise! She recommended a foundation I didn’t even know about and I know it’s going to be my new favorite. She was sweet and knew her stuff we talked makeup the whole time! Great job Faith!

My mom and I went there today. I love Sephora and have shopped there for my every beauty need for years. As soon as we walked in we were greeted at the door- ok Covid, I get it. Followed by what are you looking for? We went to buy a Tom Ford perfume but also wanted to look around so I explained that. We walked two feet and were greeted by someone from the fragrance area saying they were told we were looking for a perfume. I again explained and said that we wanted to look around but would return to the fragrance area. Any time we stopped to look at something we were approached by someone asking if we needed help. I appreciate great customer service but it was way overboard and ruined our experience. They interrupted conversations etc. We weren’t “acting suspicious” in any capacity. My mom didn’t even purchase a few things she picked up because we were being constantly bombarded to the point she just wanted to get out of there. I will be buying online for a while before I return here. Hands down the worst experience by far I’ve ever had at a Sephora. Two stars because they had a really good stock in most things and the store was really clean.

I love Sephora, however, I would like to be left alone by the consultants a bit more. We were there for maybe 30 minutes and were asked 6 times if we needed any help by the same person. While of course, I would like to know their is help if I need it, Id also like to shop and explore without feeling pressured. Selection is good and live the rewards.

Only downside is their return policy changed. I used to NEVER have a problem returning something I didn’t like. Also an employee didn’t put an a check out on my points. So of course they refused to return it since they couldn’t find it.I had to go home, dig through my receipts and return the next day to return this.They were VERY rude about this and kept telling me I did t buy it. They also tried to tell me I bought something at JCpenny when I haven’t shopped at one in years.Low and behold another one of my receipts clearly said it was bought at this store. The manager was EXTREMELY rude about it all.Of course she wasn’t there when I went back with receipts the next day. Would of loved an apology.

This location is wonderful and, in my experience, has great employees! I had a small discrepancy regarding a return and Tanisha (along with two other employees) helped me figure it out so kindly and professionally. I was so thankful! They always have the products Im looking for in stock and are willing to help as soon as you walk in the door (obviously following protocol, buy theyre still always on it)! Ive received some great recommendations and even better customer service at this Sephora location. Sephora > Ulta for life.

You cannot get the staff to leave you alone when you’re shopping, and as soon as you’re ready to ring out, 3 employees will walk by you and notice that you’re standing at the register and do nothing. It wasn’t until I got fed up with waiting and was leaving that an employee finally said “she’s going to ring you out in a minute.”Save the gas money, buy online.

I had a makeover with Justin today, and he was nothing short of amazing. So friendly, so knowledgeable, funny and fantastic at his job. I loved my look, wanted to buy everything he used. Ill for sure be coming back to ask for makeup tips from him.

They tend to have skin care products that I have never heard of like Drunk Elephant. But the sales lady made me a sample and I returned at a later date to purchase because I was so impressed with the sample products.

Actually they have some really friendly and knowledgable staff here .I dont do makeup so I was with a friend .I felt it was pricey she didnt seem to care she was happy .So try it out if you wear makeup .

Every time I go to this Sephora I get followed around immediately, from the moment I walk in the door until the moment I leave, it never fails. I always go in wanting to buy products but it has been such a negative experience my last few visits that Ulta will have my business forever. I even reached out the the district or regional manager and she basically just told me that she was not concerned and that it was company policy to follow people around if they are acting suspicious.

I know nothing about make-up and the staff is always super nice and helpful.

AWESOME!!! My boyfriend and I are both educated skin care consumers and had one of the best experiences with TARA at this location. She was very knowledgeable and honest with not only skincare but tools (such as Clarasonic). She was also super nice and gave us samples to go along with the face wash and eye cream that we were purchasing that she used and recommended. We will for sure be going back for this amazing experience again.

This place has energy, music, an amazing selection of product and fantastic associates who love their jobs. My youngest daughter loves makeup and does quite a bit of research on it and so she knows the brand names Sephora carries and what each product is! Given her age, I was concerned that the associates might ignore her or treat her poorly, but these folks are amazing. They talk directly to her, answer and ask her questions, offer samples, provide information and show her products around the store.We met a gal named Monica today who has been with Sephora for 8 years and she not only showed my daughter products, tried them on her so she could see how they looked, she also shared her experience with the company. She has been trained and has opportunities to move up in the company, which is exciting. The associates here receive training in their craft, so youre not just talking to someone who loves makeup, youre actually receiving excellent customer service form someone who knows and loves their craft.Yes, the prices are higher than you would pay in a drug store, but admittedly the quality is better too. It all depends on what youre looking for.If you sign up for their loyalty card, you receive a small gift on your birthday too!We will definitely return for the excellent customer service and the fun atmosphere.

I have been visiting this sephora since it came to the greene 10 some years ago. The products they sell are great but some not all of the employees on more than one occasion are rude. McDonalds is more polite than the staff at this sephora. Im shopping at Ulta.Be warned....

The staff have always been easy to talk to and answer any questions my wife or daughter has. They are great for teaching how to put on makeup using various techniques.

I took my Mom to this store so she can buy things she needed we walked in and we had what we wanted with us in an empty boxes, so we saw this lady working there and asked us if she can help us locate the brand.She replied: I only watch the floor for lost prevention in the rudest way possible.I take my Mom to these places all the time but this was the first time I feel being disrepected this way.Although, stephanie Was very nice and helpful.So I’m editing this because i got call from the manager defending rather than apologizing for discrimination.what you call it Lauren is yours, but when I’m not helped and someelse who came right after me get help that’s discrimination.I don’t think that was miscommunication from her part !I was really clear about pointing us to the right direction. 2 min later she is setting with someone trying make up !I thought she was responsible for lost prevention only !

Ok I have never had an issue with this Sephora before until now. I walked in with a friend and we went straight back to a section because I knew what I was looking for. I swear four workers came up to me asking if everything was ok and if we were ok which seems nice but then I hear one of the ladies on her little headpiece say “yeah they’re fine I am keeping an eye on them” I was livid. you would think after one time of me saying “we’re fine” they would stop. to say the least we got our items and left. won’t be coming back!!

Worst free standing Sephora I have ever encountered. I purchased a oil based cleanser due to being told it was specifically an eye makeup remover. I believed her without reading the box, my bad. I guess you cannot trust these reps. At home I try to use the product only to realize it is a cleanser that removes Eye makeup. That is not what I asked for. I have a specific cleanser for that purpose. The conversation I had with the sales rep was I need a natural eye makeup remover to use through out the day due to rubbing my eyes during stressful moments. I even went so far as to say I do not wish to use the Sephora brand she recommended due to that type burns my eyes. I explained my position of using a Qtip while at work to remove running mascara. I literally wasted my free time getting the run around, not only that the whispering and rude condescending behavior as I was purchasing the expensive product almost made me walk out. Ok, given I realize superficial girls act in this manner so I purchased and left. When I returned the girl at the register argued with me about the product. That really makes a person angry. What rep argues with a customer? I simply said I was looking for an eye make up remover not a cleanser that removes make up. She insisted on her misinformed quest to be right. Never mind people. I will order online to avoid the rude and unprofessional service at this particular store. This is a common issue with the lack of resources causing the locals to feel entitled as to covet a well know source. Way to go Daytonites. You win.

Worst Sephora store ever! My daughter wanted to exchange a Dior product for another Dior product purchased in Honolulu, HI. Product was barely used. They could not look up SKU number and did not let her change the product.Bad service! So disappointed.
