Surprised to see so many 1 star reviews (and most without an explanation). Ive been to this store a few times and always had a good experience. The selection of books is good for our area.

I would take the negative reviews here with a large grain of salt. I have been to this location twice and have experienced nothing but courtesy and professionalism from the proprietor and his staff.The store has a fantastic collection that would satisfy a casual customer as well as an avid collector. I definitely plan on returning in future.

So rude . I called to ask a few questions and they wouldnt answer anything unless I paid $20 ...VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL

I went into Kubik Fine Books the other day for the first time and this book store is absolutely magical. Sure, book store owners can be dry, but Owen was gracious and searched his store high and low to find me the subjects I was searching for. Stores like this are becoming rare and we should be honored we have a wonderful place like this in Dayton.

I dont understand a couple of the other reviews posted here- anyone can see they are juvenile- if not spam- and shouldnt be posted. I ventured here 12 months ago and bought a few antiquarian books and had a very pleasant experience dealing with the owner. I would venture here more often if I lived closer. Dayton is lucky to have this business.

Watch out. This man is rude. While at a function across street proceeding Dayton children’s hospital, i parked behind his store. ( not one no parking sign or a sign that read private property). He comes raging over across street looking for me and gets in my face at holiday open house at little exchange and yelled at me in front on of everyone!!!! Embarrassed and humiliated, i of course moved my car but he could have asked me nicely!!! Don’t ever do business with this man. The one star I️ gave is was over generous and undeserving.

I bought a very rare set of books several years ago (Tichendorfs Novum Tesatmentum 8th edition, first printing). I found Kubik to be wonderful. I purchased the set at a very competitive price and they took the time to package the books very very well. They also spent time on the phone with me to explain the order process and talk about the books before I purchased them. Great seller! Thanks for being an antiquarian book dealer in a society that is caring less and less for this important thing!
