5 stars for White Allen Volkswagen Service Department and 1 star...wait wait NOT EVEN ONE STAR FOR WHITE ALLEN HONDA. I will explain, a long short story...Youngest Son needed a car and he spotted a 2016 Volkswagen Passat on the White Allen Honda used car lot. Took it for a test drive, liked it and of course heard the whole...this car has been through our multi-point inspection and should be good to go. ok, bought car, all of sudden, just a few weeks later and after ONE CAR PAYMENT, car troubles. took the car to White Allen Volkswagen and got the oil changed and yep you guessed it, ANOTHER MULTI-POINT INSPECTION. Everything seemed to be fine. Then the REAL trouble began all kinds engine related bells and whistles going off. Took it back to White Allen Volkswagen to have them take another look.Well, this is where Zach comes onto the scene. Zach from White Allen Volkswagen gives me a call after they had the car for awhile and gave me the news NO new/used car owner wants to hear...Sir, your car needs a new engine.... Needless to say I was ticked off. I apologized to Zach for giving him the brunt of what I had to say. And let me tell you Zach handled the entire situation with such professionalism and compassion for the customer it was unbelievable. Really calmed me down and then I knew Zach was at work trying to come up with a solution. So, head down to White Allen Honda. Sales manager calls Zach, Zach gives him the low down. All of sudden the sales manager hangs up the phone and heads up stairs to talk with someone else. Then comes back down stairs and gives me the news I wanted to hear...we are going to cover the cost of a new engine,it will be a process but, it will cost you only 100 dollars. Ok solution found thanks to Zach Kirk at White Allen Volkswagen.10/19/2021Fast forward to today. I really have to thank Zach Kirk at White Allen Volkswagen service department for seeing this situation through to the finish. His commitment to customer service was stellar. His attention to detail I think was instrumental in getting the insurance company to accept the claim. Just an awesome job Zach! My family and I greatly appreciate you and although we will never go back to White Allen Honda, we will certainly continue to bring our Volkswagen to your location for service. :-)Again, thanks Zach!!
This place is great I love the attitudes on the employees, they helped me out the best way they could, although I didnt get every problem fixed due to my warranty not covering everything but prices werent as bad as I thought but when I get enough money I will be coming back to get it taking care of, the caring and understanding personalities is what attracted me to them the most I didnt feel out of place like most car places make you feel and I didnt feel like I was being taken advantage of, they told me exactly what was wrong with it so next time I dont have to get a diagnosis and waste alot of time and money, I want to especially Thank Zach and Kenny for theyre hospitality
We worked with Tony and could not recommend him more. He was very helpful, accommodating and went out of his way to help us and make sure everything went as smooth as possible. He was friendly, fair, and very personable. He was straightforward and told you the truth, not what you wanted to hear. He was black and white and did excellent! We would recommend him to anyone!The dealership was great, very clean. But the management we worked with were less than helpful or impressive. Starting with wrong information everywhere on forms, to getting the registration filled out with the wrong name. Instead of taking responsibility, the sales manager who made the mistake, Rob Osburn, told me the wrong name on my registration was tied right to the social security number provided. The 5 stars are for Tony Townsend and him alone.

The service department here is absolutely fantastic. We had a warranty issue with our Atlas and we called them and from the second we contacted them to get our car towed until it was done they were great. Charlie was always friendly and professional and made us feel like he was there to make sure everything was getting taken care of.

I went in for a recall repair and there was some miscommunication about the length of time I would be waiting. I brought my dog to hike at the metropark across the street and was told it would be much longer than I was originally told. They were super flexible and offered a shuttle car if I got done early and needed to kill more time. They ended up getting the work done quickly and all of their efforts were for a recall job i paid nothing for. Much appreciated and would definitely recommend them for their customer service :)

Will I take my wifes car back to this dealership for any more services probably not. When I took my wife 2008 beetle in for a tramssion fluid change service. I was told that the transmission fluid and filter would both be changed. I went home checked on the bolts holding the trans pan, still bolts still rusted in. Then I checked on the receipt it only charged drain and fill with 5 L ATF fluids, no transmission filter change. FYI, it would take less than 10 minutes for the tech to change the transmission filter. This actually is important because it verifies that the older fluids isnt just left in there and filled up but drained and refilled.There was an more serious problem I encountered. There is a Hunter alignment check in the service entrance/drive through. My beetle was checked for alignment, the printout indicated rear camber alignment failure, it is outside of the specified range at -1.64 . I agreed for the realignment when the sale rep asked me. After the car was given back to me, the printout of rear camber has a -1.63 angle, the tall service rep tried to convince me that it is not a problem. However, I insist that they run the beetle through the hunter alignment check again. The alignment result showed alignment failure. Their arguments was that the camber angle on 2008 beetle was very hard to adjust, they took 25% off my total to solve this issue. I didnt want to argue with them, so I took the deal. The grand total for fluid change and alignment come out to be 427$-110$ discount. The alignment sorry to say is a sale scam for me, good luck with your. The tramssion fluid change was questionable, did they just refilled it back up, or did they really drained and refilled, it is a mystery since they didnt remove the trans pan.

Very friendly and very helpful.When I got to the dealership, Ernest took over. Again, very friendly, knowledgeable and kind.Finance guy I had (name is escaping me), was again, just as helpful.Its a shame I live in Indianapolis. I would Def do the maintenance here. When the lease is up, if Im gonna get another VW, Ill reach out here first.Overall, an excellent, no pressure experience. Couldnt recommend enough.

I came here to get rid of/trade in my previous car that I purchased w/ my ex-fiancé. It was my first “big” purchase solely on my own. When I first arrived I felt like royalty because a gentleman opened the door for me and welcomed me. I literally felt like The Queen of England walking up in there. The storefront was clean despite all the salt from the snow we had gotten. They offered Ed me coffee/water/snack while I waiting for a representative. I really felt like royalty before I was even connected with a rep. Then I was connected with Ernest H. and I really respected his knowledge of the financial aspect of buying a car and the specs of the car I was purchasing. He made what I thought would be a long and stressful process so effortless, I was in awe of how seamless it went. I cant say enough good things about our sales person, Frank Massinople at White Allen VW. My husband and I have been in the market for a larger SUV for a couple of months. We decided to lean towards the VW Atlas. We scheduled a time to visit w/ Frank. He was very friendly and knowledgeable of the vehicle we were considering. He was also very low pressure sales tactics, which my husband and I both appreciated. We left the appt not with a vehicle but a lot of good information. He was very quick to provide finance/lease options once we were back home. I had a few questions for Frank the following day. Again, he was very responsive and answered all of my questions. We made a final decision on the Atlas, and Frank handle the remainder of the process over the phone. All we had to do was show up and sign. We drove away in our new Atlas.We have been through the car buying processes a few times and Frank was by far the easiest car sales person we have ever worked with. We would definitely go through the purchase process again w/ Frank and highly recommend him to family and friend who may be in the market for New VW!!!

Great experience purchasing a new GTI.Negotiated a very good price over email and phone from home in TN, then drove up to complete the purchase. Everything was as described, there were no surprises or changes to cost. The team worked hard to get me ready to go in a short time so I could drive home.Would gladly buy another car here.Oh, and my GTI is awesome!
The staff was friendly and the repairs were completed in a timely fashion. Unfortunately the cost was ridiculous. To change a light bulb and replace my battery it was $400 - That is insane. They charge $150/hour for labor which is at least $50 more than any other automotive shop. I do not plan to return.
Sad I have a recall open on my Jetta, but these guys always take care of me with the best service ever.

Nothing but a pleasant experience so far. Went it looking at a car I was semi interested in, and found the exact car I had been looking for locally for about a year. They made it fit in the price I was wanting to pay.IPaid off my old car with no hassles.Matt Griffin was my salesman and he made sure everything was on party for getting me the best deal.Most times when buying a car, most people will walk away feeling like they may have been shafted. I think thats human nature to go into something that were unknowing. I went in with a firm price I was willing to pay and thats what I got without too much dealing. Did I get the best deal possible? Who knows? Did I get a deal Im happy with paying for? Absolutely! Thats all I can ask for. Businesses are in business to make money, not lose it. Do youre homework before you enter the store and youll know when youve gotten a good deal. General rule of thumb: When both people think theyre getting ripped off equally, its probably a good deal.

This is our fourth volkswagon and recently a new $50,000 Atlas because of how great our experiences have been with Kings. Our first experience with White Allen Service Center on our bumper to bumper warranty is refusal to fully cover a broken part because they think we are liars. Ill update with names and final solution once its resolved.
We had our GTI inspected here because it was running a bit rough. We did not purchase the car here, but this dealer was closer so we thought wed give them a try. They did have the car for several hours, but it turned out nothing was wrong with it. They could have unnecessarily changed filters or spark plugs or done any number of things that would have made them money, but they were honest and did nothing that wasnt needed. A far cry from all the oil change places always trying to sell you filters and get you to pay for service you may or may not need! The service guy Tom seemed to know everything about our vehicle, and took the time to answer every question we asked. I was very impressed with them, and will certainly not hesitate to go there with any of my vehicles.

I felt like everyone at White Allen was working with me to find my dream car and at a good price, as opposed to a high pressure sell/buy situation. After my experience at White Allen Volkswagen today, I have come to some conclusions. Although quite expensive to have repairs done like this (Im used to doing my own), I will:1. ALWAYS own a Volkswagen.2. ALWAYS have it serviced at White Allen.3. ALWAYS trade-in or buy up at White Allen.They ALL made me feel like the only person on earth. This location offers amenities to soften the blow (ha ha!) and there were comfort measures to keep the wait from being painful.The time to wait PLUS the amount charged were BOTH as promised or very super close. The location was clean and the atmosphere pleasant. I cannot say enough good about White Allen Volkswagen. I smiled all the way home and felt like part of a family...or a princess...ok, lets go with that...I felt like a princess! :)

Great buying experience.I went to buy an used BMW posted at their website. Inspection and test driving was good. Financing and usual buying process was smooth. What’s exceptional happened after. After closing the process, they found out the coolant lamp went off. They offered me to fix it free. I was offered VW Jetta until the repair was over. It took over a week for the part to arrive, and another several days for repair. All of the staffs have been very professional, patient, and passionate. Really appreciate everyone especially Stan who took care of me and my car. He took care of me as if I was buying a new car. Paid much attention and detail about everything. When I have to buy a new car, I’ll come back. Definitely recommend to anyone who wants to buy a car used or new.
The sales department is awesome. Jamie, Ernest (sorry I cant remember her name) the leasing manager. All my questions on the lease were answered over the phone so I didnt drive 40 minutes for nothing. When I got there everyone treated me very kindly. I have already recommended some people to check them out. I love my new Jetta too!

I had an engine light on and got diagnostic for 125.00 dollars. I was told 1500.00 to fix what would cost 750.00 on any other car in parts. Had the parts replaced at a private autohaus. After the parts that the dealer said to replace have been light is still on. It cleared all codes except a code saying the gas door is open and engine light is on because of the gas door? I would not recommend this service center. They also pressure you to give them 5 star reviews and called me the next day insisting a great review.
Have had nothing but issues with my 2019 VW JETTA, from a grinding noise to electrical malfunctions. Service dept scanned for faults and found none within a month of purchase. 4 months later every warning system showed, took vehicle back low and behold faults found. 9 months after purchase found fault evap high purge flow, they had to go into steering column to fix, alignment is off, vehicle goes to the right when steering wheel is center and they wont fix saying it could be from a pot hole! Ive had to request 2 recalls to be fixed because the service dept wasnt aware of recalls. I trusted my old 2005 ford focus more than this 2019 VW JETTA. My job requires me to be available overnight oncall and I wanted/need reliable transportation. I regret not going with a new Focus or Toyota. This has been nothing but a nightmare

If I could give 0 stars, I would! If you do not care about your car, then take it here!! My car was towed in after hours when the car was over heating. When filling out the paperwork to explain what was going on, we specifically asked that somebody call us with their findings. The following day I called 3 times between trying to get a loaner & getting no returned calls like promised, never once during this time did anyone tell me what was going on with my car & nobody else called to talk about it. Upon going to pick up my loaner car I was told my car was ready! What?! Nobody called me! I was told my standard service was done..um, did you take care of the real problem however? Asked to speak with the service manager, whom assured me there was nothing wrong with my car. I am sorry, however cars do not just overheat for the heck of it! Told me there was nothing he could do & sent me on my way. Needless to say, I was unhappy with this, but not much I could do. I got less than a mile away, where my car overheated worse than when it was towed in! I called & told them I would be coming back right away.When I got back I was told by the service manager good thing this happened when you were close! He was condescending & rude.I left my car there that evening, as it was the end of business day, however after doing more research on the service department there, I had a tow truck come & tow my car the next morning to Audi Connection.Having my car towed was the best thing I could have done. Within no time of getting my car, they had diagnosed it (which was exactly what we had been telling White Allen we thought was wrong), had the parts ordered & it was back, as good as new in 24 hours!White Allen was a HORRIBLE experience! I cannot recommend it to anyone, for any reason...well, at least if you want knowledgeable people that will take care of your car!
Had a recall service and they were all very considerate and professionall. Buy all my cars here and they have a new service and sales building which was a nice change.
I got to my 30,000 maintenance appt. at 8am. When i made the appointment, I told them I would wait but they had me down to drop off. The woman who signed me in, said no problem we can set you up with a loaner for the day. I quickly got very nice loaner car (2017 Audi Q5) and was on my way. About 4 hours later, I got a call that my car was ready. Everyone was pleasant and with the loaner car, i was not inconvenienced in the least and am now actually looking into buying one because of my experience.

Gave false pricing and warranty over the phone, drove 2 hours to purchase it and realized the price was wrong and that there was really no warranty!! Furthermore, the car was supposed to be detailed and ready to go... far from it. Car was filthy inside & out. Not impressed!

I have been using both the Audi and the Jaguar service centers at the White Allen dealership for about six months and am very pleased. They are very thorough and efficient. Their waiting area and services are so impressive that I drive about 30 miles to get there when there are two facilities withing half of that distance for me.
I was denied a loaner for a recall that was supposed to take less than an hour. Two and a half hours later, I finally left, I even declined the free car wash to save some time.
I recently went to test a used vehicle that was on their car lot. When I arrived everything was great the salesman met me at door and immediately brought the SUV to the showroom for me to look at. I then looked everything over which you could tell someone went over all the dents and scratches with touch up paint. Finally the test drive, we get on the road and when I hit the brakes the vibration was so bad that my teeth chattered. The salesman acted as if he didnt feel it but after the next red light we had to stop for he admitted he felt it. We turned around and headed back to the car lot. When we arrived back I told the other salesman what was going on with vehicle and his response was he did a 17 point inspection and that that was the best he could do and this was after finding out they already did brake work to the vehicle. WTH?.Careful buying from this car lot peeps.
I knew what I wanted when I walked through the doors, and the staff couldnt have been more delightful and accommodating - I drove in with my old car and drove out with my new one in short order. It was a pressure-free experience and well worth the drive from Tipp City - I would recommend this dealership to anybody looking for a VW. Just be mindful of the traffic around rush-hour...
