Hello. Ok my friends, this pier is weird!! You have to go through the Crabby Joes restaurant to get too the end of the pier. So you know what that means right?? Yes, everyone walks straight through the restaurant to get to the end of the pier. If you are eating, people will be walking right past you and Ive seen dogs go through as well. The pier is nice. I do suggest that you go early during season and or during the week. Best time is when its off season and there is no special event going on in Daytona Beach. Raising is good and the food is not too bad. Hope you enjoy! 😊

Decent fishing pier. Good prices to rent a rod. Fun time for the family. Pier is a little on the small side and has limited/no seating. We did catch some good fish though and met some cool people while fishing here though. Would go back.

My family and I really enjoyed this place. The parking is free and if you get here early there is plenty of available spaces. The view is breathtaking. My husband caught barracuda right after dropping his line into the water. They have reasonably priced bait.Highly recommend!

We love the staff and the people here. We dont appreciate the management always running out of so many items on a Thursday and still didnt have any of them when we returned on Friday and spent the day.They were out of....Hot chocolate, apple juice, orange juice, corn flake french toast, chocolate chips for pancakes, blueberries for pancakes and that was just our table.I find it insulting that the same industry that has been desperate to keep full didnt use the half full time to fine tune the systems and cleanliness of most restaurants and this one was unfortunately no different.Volusia county could take some self pride for itself and clean the public water parks. The boardwalk desperately needs a coat of paint and just better sanitary conditions.Again the staff was awesome 😎.

The food there was fantastic.. Best place to eat on the pier. We didnt have our waiter..Always ask for John. Best waitier in Daytona... The managers are fantastic... Go by and enjoy a fantastic meal..

Always nice place to stop by. A wash off shower/ restroom at start of the pier would be wonderful. Numerous people come off the beach all day to get a cold refreshment and a bite to eat. Ill be planting my chair near the pier many more times in the future

We visited Crabby Joes and it was awesome!! We sat outside on the pier. I ordered the Mermaid Fish Ruben and it was incredible, also they have the best pasta salad I have ever had. We loved it so much that we went back 2 days later. Also, you must try the Peanut Butter Pie.

First time going to this pier. It is very short as the restaurant sits halfway through it. That is both good and bad in that food and restrooms were close but didnt have much fishing room. They also have a nice little bait and gift store. It was low tide so we didnt catch much but everyone was friendly and it was very relaxing.

Wasnt there long, we walked down and saw dolphins. Good peir. Lots of people fishing

Good fishing and only 7 dollars for an all day reel rental. Locals also very friendly and helpful. The only negative thing I can say is that there isnt a restroom at the pier. So you have to walk all the way to the entrance if you need to use the restroom.

No fishing license required, rental bait and tackle available right on the pier as well as the sea food restaurant Crabby Joes also located right on the pier itself. If your catch is legal and you wish to keep it and have the time, for only a small fee the restaurant will cook and prepare your catch for you. Great for tourists coming down for a short stay and dont wish to purchase the 3 day temporary license required in the state of Florida.

Had a great time not to crowded. Son caught 2 fish he was happy. Friendly staff.

The pier was full of friendly people today. Blues, whiting, and catfish were pulled up today. Lots of fun. Good times.

Taking wagon through restaurant was difficult and uncomfortable; only, to get to an over crowded peir with not a lot of space. View was good, however not a great place to fish with family or group.

The food was amazing, if i were a local i would eat here all the time.

Decent fishing they have their own little baby tackle right on the end of the pier and good restaurant and the middle fishing Fortune is a little small

I had a great time here the staff was amazing and on their job ! It was very crowded but thats ok . I was a little scared lol when it would move being on beams over the ocean and all . I do wish they would have cooked my chicken wings like I asked didnt complain about it because they were so busy I just know next time not to get them .

Food has become expensive here but the ocean views are spectacular.

This is not only a pier for fishing it also has a reastraunt called Crabby joes . Do not mistake this for the famous JOES CRAB SHACK which cost an arm and leg to eat at for 2 people joes crab shack to just get a simple dinner was over a 100.00 but at Crabby joes you can go get a meal for 2 with drinks was 50.00 This is a great place to go you can either eat inside or outside on the pier under the stars & moon or out over the ocean during daytime & watch the surfers & Pelicans and the ocean waves. I am also a smoker so out on the pier they offer ash trays for those who are still smokers

Fun time for 7$.

They dont tell you till you are most of the way out there, that it costs $7.00 to fish from the pier. Being, as it is, listed as a free fishing pier...... Still, it is a fun place to fish, with pole rentals, bait, and some rigging available. Plus, the bonus is a great restaurant called Joes Crab right there in the middle of the pier. You actually walk through the middle of it to go fishing. All in all a great place.

Great place to bring your kids to do a little ocean fishing at a very cheap price. They have low rates for kids and they provide the gear. If you stay on the pier you dont even need a license. Most of the long time fisherman on the pier are super nice and helpful. We met a great guy from New York who was the best. Helpful. Tolerant of kids. My two boys caught sharks and even a stingray. It was awesome and very cheap. Great super memorable experience.

The food was good, But the service we received from our waitress Amber was AWESOME, That young lady was on top of her game. Amber was very pleasant & very knowledgeable of the menu, she was so great cant say enough good about her. We will be back & we will definitely be requesting AMBER as our server.

Took my son there for a couple of hours. Pier is a lot shorter than it used to be, lost 180 after hurricane couple years back. A little crowded. Rented 2 poles but line got stuck twice and broke the rig off. Was told by locals all the wood from damaged pier was still in the bottom of ocean so your hook may get caught up in it. Then lady at rental place says they only do 1 free re-rig ...nice to know after the fact

Dont bother trying to fish there the pier is shut down because its broken, so now its only a restaurant. Also its a very short pier compared to others.

This was a very awesome place to while I was in daytona. I really wish I could have fished off the pier while I was there but I didnt get to. But I did get to see others catching fish and I thought it was great! The kids loved it!

I kissed my wife for the first time about 15 years ago in the parking lot here after fishing with her and her family. This is something I will never forget. Thanks for the great memories

I loved this place. Got there as soon as it opened and caught fish all day including crab pompano and a almost 4 nurse shark. And the bait is pretty cheap. 7 dollars to fish plus 7 for a rod (you can bring ur own and not pay that) and like 3 for a good amount of bait. I had a great time and would recommend it to anyone looking to do a little fishing or take there kids fishing. Its a great place.

Love this pier. Friendly locals and happy tourists. Kinda small since the hurricane damage, but they are going to rebuild and it will be awesome again. Restaurant has some pretty good eats that you can eat inside or out on the pier while fishing.

Nice pier with reasonable prices to fish. They offer pole rentals and you do not need a license to fish here. There is also Crabby Joes on the pier who has great food or offers to cook your catch. Spectators are often treated to great wildlife views as dolphins and manatees swim by regularly.

Pretty nice pier to fish on or just take a walk on. Many nice people there. I personally didnt catch a lot of fish there but I cant blame them for me not catching much😄.

Its a great place to fish if you dont have a license to fish off the shoreline. Would be 5 stars but the pier is a lot shorter from storms than it was when I fished it as a kid.
