Yes, the Manager. Mark was so kind and professional and sent his crew member, Kevin to my home who called me, letting me know he was on his way, as I requested. Kevin arrived on time took measurements of my window glass that needed replacing (due to seal broken causing fog and moisture in window). Then, explained how I would get a quote sent to me from the office later that day, which I did. To make a long story short, I appreciate that the Glass Doctor ensures that measurements are correct and if they are not, they retake the measurements and order the glass to be cut to exact measurements. Then, same crew member (Kevin) came back to install my window glass, (it was not a totally different person). Kevin was so polite and respectful of my home, knowing it is a no shoe zone, Kevin was always sure to put on and take off shoe covers when going in and out of my home, without being asked. I will definitely do business with The Glass Doctor, for all my Window Glass needs, as their prices are very reasonable, their crew members are professionals and their service is 5 star - top shelf! I called the glass doctor to have a window replaced. The seal was gone on mine. They came out and gave me an estimate. I called about 3 weeks later and ordered it. I went to their office and paid for most of it. They. Came out a few weeks later and replaced it. In the process. They chipped the contract paper on the frame. I had paid them in full. My mistake. I called the office and was told that was between the repair guy and me. When I call I get transferred to his phone. Get told how he hasnt had time to go find it. The office does nothing. I will not recommend it to anyone. They should at least give me some money back and apologize. Ive got nothing. Well here it is. November 2. Still havent heard from Bob the installer nor the glass doctor. Nobody wants to take responsibility. If it happened to me. Its happened to others. And Im sure it will happen to more.

I set up an appointment for my stepmom to have a chip repaired, a real person answered the phone and explained the options. The day of the appointment it was raining, so the technician said hed be back the next business day. When he came back he could not find the chip and reassured her that if he couldnt find it, it wouldnt cause her any problems. Great service, kind people. Will be recommending to anyone who needs glass repairs.

I hired Glass Doctor of Dearborn Heights to replace 5 windows in my house that lost seal. I am in the process of selling the house. It took them 2 appointmentinstallation. all the windows and about 4 weeks from ordering to instalation.First disappointment was with mix up of my appointment time. I had written down 11am to 2 pm, and according tothe installers it was 8 am to 12pm.I rushed to the house, the installers arrived without the right equipment, and did not have shoe covers or masks.First they offered to reschedule for next week and I explained that this job has to be done today. They went back to the store to get all the right equipment. Came back hour and a half later, and this time I was informed the windows were the wrong size. Also, even after I requested installers to wear masks inside the house, they disobeyed my request and did not wear masks inside the house. At that point I was so frustrated with all the unprofessionalism that took place, that I decided not to replace the windows and cancelled my order all together.As a result, in my sale contract I am obligated to change the windows, which puts me in very bad position with a buyer, but I can not trust this company to do this job any longer. And I have to disinfect and clean the house after I had installers inside my house without masks even after I requested them to have masks on inside the house. Plus I have a huge sign in front to wear masks.Very disappointed and would not recomend this company.

Very disappointed. They replaced 3 of my home window panes using the existing molding that was water rotted, broken, and missing portions. Very poor caulking around the windows. Caulk smeared and caked on. They left stickers on the windows. I called them to complain and after our concerns were expressed, they said they would come back out to fix the issues......they have cancelled the scheduled returns twice now and after three weeks, im still waiting for them to come back and fix them!

Very friendly staff, if you have a new car without any trim I think they will do a good job. Take a picture before they start, if anything isnt just right be ready to finish the job yourself or find another professional. Ive tried to have work done here a couple times now on classic vehicles. Both times Mark refused as soon as he saw a little surface rust, which is common in Michigan.The first time they had already ordered the windshield so I had to have the job finished myself. On the second vehicle he had already removed my windshield before quitting. He left me hanging - stuck with a car that could not be parked outside, they then charged me a removal fee. Im glad he did notice the rust and did not incorrectly install a windshield over a rusty spot which could cause problems in the future, however if he wont provide a necessary service then at the very least he should give some references for someone who can help. Maaco and other local business will restore a window frame, it seems like these guys dont want to admit that others will provide a service they dont.Ive removed one star because more recently Mark reinstalled the windshield and did not even try to reinstall any of the chrome-trim or the window wipers which he previously removed. I left work to meet him at my house and he worked for less than an hour, so I have to assume he did not try very hard. We had specifically discussed the trim before he started. He also was missing one piece from his removal, which also nicked the headliner and edge of the dash. Again I finished the job myself, he did replace the top-chrome-trim with a piece of black rubber, I will ask sandy next week if she can find me a replacement for the top-trim piece before checking ebay myself.Ive removed another star because Sandy (who is also very nice) previously told me a driver-side window was not available anywhere in the country, only after I told her we found a used one locally she explained she only checked one supplier. Unfortunately broad comments like this from a professional can be the difference between a customers car ending up in the junk-yard, or someone enjoying it for many more years.

I have an Audi. I made an appointment for Saturday morning, brought in first thing. They called me later to inform me that their tech with 10 plus years of experience couldnt figure out how to change the windshield. When I picked it up I noticed that the windshield now had a crack in it ( I was originally replacing the windshield due to a mirror replacement issue)The tech rescheduled an appointment for Monday when another 10 years plus experienced tech could be consulted. Again dropped it off first thing. I came in 1:2 hour before close to find the windshield had not been replaced because the two techs couldnt figure it out or consult a manual or YouTube.They recommended going elsewhere. I inquired about the crack they made to my windshield and the guy stated he didnt know what to do about that but I was going to have to replace the wind shield anyways.Their web site states all makes and models. I guess they will be changing that to all makes and models except audi.Btw asked to speak to district manger -- no call back as of yet.
