The best coffee in town. Spiced nice with cardamom, nutmeg, milk. They have hot/iced coffee for every palate. Their adeni tea is amazing. The honey comb bread is toasted then drizzled with honey that tastes so authentic and unique. The samosas were perfect bread to filling ratio. This is a must try coffee shop!
If you want a unique and different coffee shop experience, you need to visit my favorite Yemeni coffee house. They have a unique blend of coffee and latte that includes a mix of spices and cardamom. The coffee beans are organic and imported from owner Ibrahim coffee plantation in Yemen. If you visit, don’t miss the sabaya and honeycomb desserts.
Delicious tea, coffee, and sweets. Nieces love the hot chocolate and the geographic designs on the walls. The service is amazing- staff does their best to accommodate everyone when the cafe is busy, which is most of the time. It only goes to show how successful their business is. The owner, Ibrahim, knows my order and it is always done perfectly and from the heart. Highly recommended!
4.8 stars for a reason! Good customer service, reasonable prices, nice environment and awesome Qahwah and honey comb! Definitely recommended for friends and families when youre in the area or just make a quick stop after dinner. Theyre usually open till late. Check their Instagram page for up to date timing.
This coffee shop has the best coffee in the US. Used to be an everyday Starbucks goer, but after trying this place I can no longer find flavor in Starbucks coffee. The aroma and taste of the drinks at Qahwah House are so rich and unbeatable. My favorite place for amazing coffee and atmosphere. The owner and his workers put all of their positivity and energy into this place and really make sure that their customers feel like family. Even after coming here so frequently, I’m always treated with the experience of a first-time customer and my drinks turn out consistent and flavorful every time. The owner is extremely humble and sits with his customers often, and the staff is so friendly and enjoyable to talk with as well. Highly recommend this place and love coming here to hangout and study with my friends.
This place was amazing! It was a recommendation from my husbands coworker and it did not disappoint. The employees were very friendly, it was very clean in there, and the food was super fresh. We both got the Yemeni coffee and honeycomb for breakfast. We will definitely be back soon!
Amazing tea and coffee! Love the tea/coffee pot approach for the traditional offerings. The inside seating is cozy and comfortable. The outdoor seating is also relaxing. 1 star less as there seems to be a ongoing wasp problem with the outdoor seating
My favorite coffee shop in all of Michigan, and I used to be a adamant starbucks drinker. The staff is so friendly and accommodating, and the owner does a great job of making everyone feel welcome. I have never seen them without smiles on their faces. It is my favorite place to study and talk with friends. I would say Qahwah House has the best coffee in the U. S. Everything I have tried has been amazing. Can’t wait to bring more of my friends here. Highly recommend!
Best tea/coffee shop, really cute store. Try the Yemeni tea or adeni chai—delicious!
I love this place. This coffee shop has a very nice indoor and outdoor seating. Their selections of coffee, teas, and pastries is absolutely amazing. Their cappuccino is my favorite. One thing to know is that it is always busy so it will not be very easy to find a place to sit and the noise level is very loud. But staff is great and the owner is very nice. Definitely recommend.
Amazingly delicious and authentic Yemeni coffee and sweets. We had their espresso, Yemeni desert ball, their Arabic coffee, and their tea. All were delicious. My only comment to them would be to let people know that their drinks are pre-sweetened so that people can choose to either forgo sweetener or ask for less. It was a little too sweet for my taste.
Finally, restaurants are open with the ban lifted. Ive been looking forward to this place since hearing about the news. And wow, was I blown away. The entire experience was really soo awesome! Their service and staff were top notch. Lots of seating and room at this location compared to their Schaffer spot. Parking is certainly a warm welcome being right behind the building. But the coffee really lives up to the hype, its a must visit for any caffeine heads. Overall this place will most likely be my top coffee spot in town.
Wow! Had a really great time at the Qahwah house! The tea was so good and they had some nice small sweets that go well with the tea! I loved sharing a pot of tea and enjoyed the lively setting! Would highly recommend!
I used to come here very often and I enjoyed my time, I like the food but it gets extremely busy here. I came here with my friend and I bought about 30 dollars worth of tea and food. I was playing chess with my friend and the owner came and told me no games allowed. I was surprised because I see students spend so much time here and no one tells them not to do what theyre doing after spending money at the establishment. After the owner told me to stop playing chess I packed up my board but I was very disappointed. I felt slighted and disrespected, and after being treated like that I dont think Ill ever come here again and patronize this establishment. I might go to the Schaefer location, I usually get treated with more respect.
Amazing place, tasty delicious deserts & fresh coffee. The decorations in the place is wonderful.
I never knew Yemeni coffee was as good as the coffee served at Qahwah house. The exotic coffee and tea they have here is out of this world! The prices are amazing, youd feel as if you were robbing them. The Radaey coffee I tried is delicious. Cant wait to return and try the others.
A very nice place, just like the older location. Very organized and beautiful, love the background Yamini music. A small menu of specialty Yemini drinks, crafted in a tasty way. Very nice and welcoming staff. Thanks to Ibrahim, the owner of the place, for bringing such a wonderful business into light. I recommend it for all family and friends, and I make sure to stop by very often.
Was actually a big fan of this place until my wife and I got told we can’t sit down and play uno. Literally just the two of us playing Uno! Guess we’ll go back to Starbucks for our evenings out
I was in Dearborn and in need of some coffee so I decided to give Qahwah House a try. My friends told me about it and said I had to try it. I went inside and was immediately impressed with the interior. Everything from the ground to the ceiling is a sight to behold. As for what they serve, the Yemeni coffee was so rich and delicious that I know I will be returning for more.
Very nice place, tasty chai, and kind owner! Requested for my order to be a certain way and it was fulfilled. Already went to this location multiple times due to it being bigger. The other location isn’t bad but there is little to no seating.Impressed.
Yemeni Coffee here is great. I recommend the Yemeni Latte to anyone!
Ambience is great adeni chai is awesome not to mention their Iced Yemeni Latte!! absolutely delicious!
This place is great. Interior is warm, smells like coffee. Theres a patio out back if you want sit outside. The coffee, tea, and pastries are amazing and the prices are reasonable. If youre a coffee lover, definitely check this place out.
This is my new joint, reasonable price..good company nice people
They have the best coffee around. They beat all of the chain coffee shops. A must stop when in the area. They also carry a dessert called honey comb which goes perfect with the coffee or tea. The owner is so nice.
My favorite coffee shop in Dearborn. Amazing and large space with lots of seating and great environment. Great coffee and customer service! They have great pour over coffee but I especially love their small pots of Turkish style coffee. Great place for meetings or spot for studying/work.
Owners did a great job of improving the interior compared to their first shop. The consistency of the great coffee and dessert is still the same. Can get pretty busy on a weekend evening so get there early. I will definitely be utilizing the outdoor seating when the weather gets warmer. I recommend the Yemeni latte and honeycomb for dessert. They have almond milk as an option for some of their drinks if you are lactose intolerant. Im pretty sure Im addicted to this place, but its a good addiction.
The adeni Chai was ok. I need to try their other coffees. The place is a nice to hang out or study
Good coffee which is why it gets an extra star but recently on two occasions the staff making the drinks had no mask. We are in the middle of a pandemic and second surge. Wearing a mask is the most simple and basic thing one can do to help mitigate the spread. Totally unacceptable for those in the food service industry. I thought I’d give them a second chance but it happened again today. If I did not already pay, I would have walked out but at least I know not to come back.
Atmosphere is modern comfortable.Went for coffee and it did not disappoint! Ill go back again
Love the Yemeni tea, my favorite definitely deserves 5 stars
I was visiting this place daily on my visit to dearborn. They offer Oranic Yemeni coffee with full decoration and music from the Yemeni culture. Also Sabaya is amazing with Sanaani coffee. All they drinks are exceptional.
Great coffee and ambiance. Much respect to the owners. Well done.
Took my wife to try the coffee. The coffee was really good. The interior is very nice too. We were going to just get a coffee to go but decided to get a table.
Delicious Sanaa tea, great honey cakes and tempe coffee!
The best place for coffee on earth. My favorite Yemeni coffee and tea is here year around. Ibrahim has blessed West Dearborn downtown by establishing a new branch of Qahwah house here.Thank you everyone
Great coffee and pastries friendly staff. Will be back.
Great place and decor . great coffee and yemnie pastries .prices are reasonable also .
Nice place and cousy with great Yemeni tea. Good gathering spot
Awesome experience! The adani tea is delicious.
The coffee, adorable tea pots, and the ambiance are well worth the drive from Columbus, Ohio
Nice fresh coffee with nice decorations and ambiance.
Uncomfortable seats they could improve . I wont comeback unless they replace their chairs !Coffe and food is good otherwise.
A lovely concept Yemeni coffee and tea shop. A first for many as Yemeni cafes aren’t that common in USA. This location is a visible improvement over the original one in terms of size and decor- with both an indoor dining room as well as a cutesy outdoors patio. Even though the place is always Jam packed, I’ve always felt welcomed by the staff that’s very welll trained by the owner to handle the million questions that novices to this form of coffee always come with. The owner is often here himself, sanitizing the place, interacting with everyone and just being overall helpful. Highly recommend this middle eastern intro to coffee and tea culture.
This cafe is always busy when I want to go in and try their drinks. I finally had my chance to try their coffee. I have to say their Yemeni drinks are pretty good.
Great People and Greatttttt coffee mashallah!
The only place around where coffee is legit amazing. You can tell the grade of their beans are everything to write home about.Abe the owner is an awesome guy as well. Feels like home.
They have the best milk tea I’ve ever tried too bad their cups are really cheap and the lid popped open and spilled everywhere.
Awesome place their Adeni Chai is amazing and it’s always clean and employees are all good people. Their wall inside with the map is very cool, highly recommend if you love coffee or tea and want to try something new!
The place to be! It has a consistent flow of people and beyond amazing Teas
Delicious Adheni Chai, good ambiance, have limited outdoor seating, good dessert options.A little organization/sign to guide the customer to order/sit and little more space near pick up area will make the customer experience even better.
Amazing place for a great authentic cup of Yemeni coffee :) PLUS the ambiance is stunning!
Love it hadi and baydoun are the best workers 😍😍 and Abed l rahman before he gets jealous 🥰
Great atmosphere and great tea. My personal fav is adani tea
Some of the drinks are complex to make, so it might take a minute. But the wait is worth it if you’ve got the time. Love this place.
You literaly have to be rich to afford their iced Latte. Its $7.95, the most expensive cafe in Cali doesnt charge you $8 for an iced latte. Btw, no special milk like cocunot added. Never buying again. So greedy
Ive had better street side in Toronto. Cup falling apart by the time I got to the car, spilling everywhere. Tastes watered down- typical Dearborn cafe, restaurant, etc that thinks way more highly of itself than it should.
Service: the owner is kind but there needs to be a conversation with staff. Every worker was rude, didn’t seem to care when our drinks were messed up three times, and when different people from out group wanted to address the issue “just come back later bro,” doesn’t exactly come across as helpful.Atmosphere: very beautiful but very odd. I don’t understand how groups of people can be loud and others told they can’t use board games because it’s not their “code.”Drinks: when they get it right, they’re good! But if you have to argue that they messed up your drink multiple times, then I can’t say you’re gonna want to sit happily and drink it.I thought it was kinda odd that all other places during Ramadan offer water for free but here to get 6 waters it’s gonna run you over $15.Overall, it’s overrated, rude, and somewhere I can’t wholeheartedly recommend.
Really delicious coffee with some homely service to boot. Unique and authentic coffee experience like nowhere else Ive been. I got the Johwali and the one with milk in it-- somehow the milk one was sweet but there was no sugar! How delicious 😋 the Johwali was very refreshing and will make u feel healthful. My mom and sister enjoyed their chai as well. Must go here for coffee!
-A beautiful and serene place.-Needs more space though.-Staff are good but needs to be more alert to customers (maybe this is explained by point number 2).*Overall, highly recommended.
Great atmosphere. Good people.
Nice clean environment, very friendly staff!
Adani chai and honey cake 👌🏼
Yemeni cardamom tea was great. Their coffee good as well.
I’m hooked. The atmosphere is fun and the coffee is great. I just wish it was made faster.
Best coffee ever. The owner “Ibrahem” is the best guy ever.
This place is amazing the coffee and pastry were amazing the staff was very professional and the owner was really professional and helpful
Still decent but need to work on maintaining quality of drinks
Vibe is awesome - coffee and tea is ok
Best coffee, great quality!
Great coffee, delicious pastries, friendly service!
Excellent place for tea and dessert
Qahwa house is a fan favorite of my wife and I, but the west dearborn place takes it to the next level. Still has the same amazing flavors as the original place in Dearborn, with the added touch of a well designed interior, that shows you the history of the owner, as well as how arabica beans made it from Yemen, to the rest of the world, giving all those coffee addicts their much needed medicine.
A more warm attitude and cleaner silverware make it 1 less star .
Best as always.. May Allah gives them barakah..
