Went and got my tune up and ended up getting some valuable information about my car.

I wish I could give zero stars. I recently had my car and another car turned in for a engine swap. was told it would take less than two days on a Friday. They tell you itll be done sooner than later to go ahead and get your car in the shop, meanwhile they sit around on work on everything but. fast forward 8 days later and calling every single day being told probably today, most likely tomorrow, by tonight. every single day. The car was able to turn on with the swapped engine and the best I can speak about it. no precautions were taken to make sure it was safe to drive for future reference. PLUS, I was the one that had to provide the transmission fluid and oil in the process! how sway?? even so, the car was having all sorts of issues. my hot air stopped blowing, smoking from the ac, idling high and low without me even pushing the gas, SHUTTING ALL THE WAY OFF MID TURN. I took it back and back again where a quick and negligent fix on the spot supposedly fixed my problem WHICH BY THE WAY EVERYONE IS SMOKING WEED WHILE WORKING ON YOUR CAR. a week later, my car stops on the highway and LUCKILY I happened to be in the right hand lane to pull over on the margin. the mechanic named TERRY who was the one working on my car all along has been very lackadaisical about the whole thing, has other priorities after my $1000 dollar fee plus extra $100 to provide fluids has been spent. barely answering any of my request to check out my car and could probably care less while Im out of a car to get to work. You literally have to hunt this man down and I bet you nothing efficient will still come of it. Please, steer clear, ghetto and run down shop and lord forbid something happens with your engine. No one will care and its now a whatever situation from their side.

My car broke down on Saturday at the Junction of Candler Road and Glenwood. The 107 Autocare was the nearest mechanic shop I considered for repair. When I got in the shop, a mechanic came to check my car and another one was holding a receipt for me to sign. Just to check my car they charged $25 and additional $2.00 for using their machine to swipe my debit card. They listed like ten problems my car was having and expressed they cant fully solve the problems of my car unless I buy a new engine since it was knocking. When I asked them to check for emissions, they were so reluctant and eventually said that the emission was down. They later agreed to fix my car after but they gave me conditions. The boss there said, you have to pay in cash. That was a very poor customer service knowing that they swipe credit cards.I drove my car back with the disturbing sound from the engine untill I got to another mechanic in Atlanta who gave me the right diagnosis.I cant refer or even recommend anyone to this shop.....I dont like posting negative reviews but they are responsible for their actions. They didnt even care to give me a ride home (which is 15mins). God forbid, please have some integrity in your job and value human life.
