Only have some pictures of different fabric to contribute, but I am always amazed at how many different products for different hobbies/crafts Joanns has. Was particularly impressed with their Fall decor items and the quality of them. All the staff was very nice! I will say I wish the AC was on more since masks are required right now. Got a little hot! But overall wonderful store and experience.

I have never encountered such helpful and knowledgeable staff in any retail store. From the minute I walked in, to the minute I left, I had all the assistance I could have asked for with employees who knew very well about the things they were helping me with.

It was good. It seemed to be bigger then ours in Ocala, Florida. Just not happy they did not have any NFL fabric.

I needed Fiskars replacement blades, a middle-aged lady with blonde hair at the yarn counter helped me. She was fast and efficient and immediately helped, no questions asked. Thank you!

I love any craft store and this ones the best as far as variety goes and I really love that. You can get a much larger variety of really beautiful products there compared to other craft stores and thats nice. However theyre really overpriced unless you buy something on sale or clearance. I went to get a new ruffler presser foot which is around $25 online for the singer brand and as low as $7 for the off brands, but they wanted around $40 for it. Its nice to leave a store with something you need right then instead of waiting for it when you order it online but when its almost twice the price I just cant justify buying it.

This store is always clean and organized. The staff here are friendly and they always say hello when I come in. Be sure to use your coupons because the regular prices are above market. There are always good sales around any public holidays. The only issue I have with this location is the lack of bathrooms. There are only 2, one stall for women with a changing table, and the other one unisex. They really need more stalls.

Great store. i came here to buy materials to learn how to bead weave and they had delica beads out the wazoo, and they were half off. they had everything i needed for this craft. half priced books next door also rocked, i stopped there after i got my craft supplies. i’d recommend.

I went into the store today. There was a section with a 60% off sign attached. There were approximately 9 bolts of fabric on the top and the same on the bottom. I choose 2 bolts from the top with the sign. I scanned both bolts; they did not scan at 60% off. I choose a 3rd bolt, it did not scan at 60% off. I told the manager, he came over and removed the 60% off sign. He then advised me that I should be looking at a completely different rack to the left which had a 30% off sign. Rude and poor customer service.

A good overall experience. I visited to make a last minute fabric purchase for my first sewing class. I found everyone I encountered to be pleasant and helpful. The check out experience was the only area that could use some help. It was extremely slow and inefficient, during this visit. However its nothing that having two cashiers couldnt help improve. I plan to do more projects and will definitely be coming back.

Staff needs to be trained on the products that the store sales especially Ben. If youre going to stock the jewelry section at least learn about the products, instead of telling customers to look up a YouTube video.

The time posted as closing on Sunday is 7pm. However, they were closed at 6:30pm and other people were waiting outside trying to go in. DO BETTER JOANN FABRICS!!!

First time in this fabric store I went with a friend really didnt find what I want but it was okay

I brought my kid by here as a result of getting a last minute laundry list of needed school supplies. We searched for everything in this store as it is well stocked with a lot of variety that always gives me and my kid plenty of options.. We took a look at the seasonal items. The store was functional and clean without obstructions in the aisles. I stopped by the restroom while I was here and it was extremely clean. A seamstress here, named Jazmine, was extremely helpful to us trying to locate the items on our shopping list.

Such cute cotton fabric! And home decor and outside fabric! Lots of yarn and embroidery thread! They will give you sweet coupons when you check out. Keep that in mind. Sometimes coupon flyers are available at front register for 50% off. It is worth inquiring before you shop. Joanne runs sales consistently. 4 stars because they have been sold out of quilting needles the last two times I have been there. Friendly helpful people working there.

Cashier stated they do not price match Michaels products even with a sign behind register. I looked up the policy online. She then went to speak to a manager about it and the manager says they do price match. It took over 15 minutes to check out. I have 4 stars because other than the cashiers lack of good customer service, the shopping experience was a pleasure.

Exactly what you would expect from Joann Fabrics. Nothing more, nothing less.

Always a bit on the busy side but the store is clean and say to navigate.

Great prices on sales

If you are going here for crafts save yourself some time and go somewhere else they don’t have much. Asked and looked for mason jars and craft paper to make gift cards and negative on both. Variety of some home decor is cute but not much for creators. Lots of fabric of course which they ate known for. People are pretty friendly.

Hard to find some things. Poor woman at the front was alone so many of us stood were in a long line and some people just cant seem to follow 6 feet rules. A faster line would have at least helped although Im fine being vocal about my needs to customers for them to step back.

This location has a very sparse inventory and its disappointing that the powers that be does not stock this store as they do the Duluth and Alpharetta. It definitely needs a makeover on top of needing more inventory. I had to go to another location because they did not have most of what I was looking for.

Amazing huge selection of fabrics and they all felt so nice. Only thing missing was the wide elastic we needed. But staff was kind and everything was at a price decent price on sale.

I went in JoAnn not knowing else except they sold fabric. Almost 1 hour later I left skipping out the store. I was pleasantly surprised with all the other craft ideas thet had. From Baking pans to Resin mold. Joann has alot to choose from. Im a painter, so I like the various paint they had. I will surely be back very soon!

It was the after Thanksgiving sale and the place was extremely busy. Lots of bargains (50-70% off) however I thought I was paying $5 for an item but paid $20 (didnt notice until I got home😡). Wanted to get a sewing machine for a Christmas present but no one was able to help me (apparently no associates sew🤔).

Worst Joann ever! Store opens at 10am and at 12pm there is no change for $100 in the store. Should have a sign says debit or credit only. After purchase the cashier or manager couldnt find $66 better 2 registers!

This new beautiful store is amazing!

I usually have a wonderful experience at this location. The African American elderly woman Sonya was very unpleasant and unhelpful. I was looking for a specific type of cording. This woman told me 7 different ways why she could not help me and I can get online and find the sku number myself. Shes very snappy and rude. I watched her treat a custo.er in front of me the same the lady just wanted to share a picture with her about a project she finished. Another customer offered to help me find what I needed. Perhaps Sonya should retire if she doesnt want to be in customer service and the customers irritate her.

Was there to get some fabric and flowers for a table runner. They were very helpful with helping me select the right fabric for my project.

Good clean store. Seemed like they were short staffed at fabric counter but overall good experience.

I wished the item I ordered online are available when I do store pick up.

More customer service skills

There were lots of months flying around in the entire store. Id really hate to take one home... They are hard to get rid of. I probably wont shop here because of the moth infestation.

This is by far my favorite Joanns because of the following reasons:1. Convenient parking2. Huge in-stock selection, better than many other Joanns I have visited3. Friendliest, most knowledgeable staff I have ever met at a craft store, that would not only provide you with insight, ideas and inspiration, but also go out of their way to help you with selections and discounts.In general, Joanns has a superior quality of materials than any other popular craft store chain if you are into making quality, professional-looking crafts. Joanns also offers a great discount cycle for the craft category you use, being patient and keeping an eye is the key :)

Decent crafts

I registered for a class a few months ago and they canceled it, but offered me a class open that Saturday. I could not make that class. So, I registered for a class this month. With all the activities going on this time of the month it totally slipped my mind that I had this class coming up and I missed it. I called the store and the customer service is horrible. It took me a good 30 minutes to talk to someone. I go hung up on not once, twice, but THREE TIMES. All I wanted was to reschedule this class which I paid more for then for the first time I registered. The first time I registered, they had a special. I was told they could not do that. What a way to treat your customers. I was told to call customer service and was pretty much told that would probably not result in much. Obviously, an employee of this company knows how horrible customer service is with this company. I called customer service and the attitude of this lady let me know I was going to get known were and these people are coached not to help anyone. Such a shame. Where has the customer comes first gone.

The decatur Joann is a great location. It is new only a year or two old and has a great selection of crafts, art supplies, jewelry making supplies, etc. The place is also in great location right in the shopping plaza where there is a book store ( Half Price Books ), Ross, Home Goods, Starbucks and Walmart. The parking is ample and the area is kept clean. I would recommend this location because there shelves were pretty well stocked and they had a great selection of fabric patterns.

I went in to buy fabric to make a tablecloth for an event. While I was there I found a lot of new Simplicity fabrics that I decided would make adorable aprons. So I bought 8 different fabrics and started sewing! 4 done. 4 more to make. Helpful customer support staff and lots of cool items that I added to my shopping cart.

If you need fabric for any DIY or craft project go to Jo Anns! The selection is huge at really reasonable prices. Unlike Hobby Lobby, Jo Anns uses a machine that measures the fabric down to the inch before they cut it. I recently purchased fabric at Hobby Lobby and when I got home it was shorter than what I had paid for. The lady at the cash register even suggested downloading the Jo Anns app to get an additional discount over the already marked down prices. Excellent customer service.

This store has a nice variety of fall and Halloween 🎃 home decor.

This place is wonderful. Well stocked, great selections, friendly and helpful staff. Area has been revitalized, plenty of eateries from Cajun to Pizza to Asian. Stores like Home Goods, Half Priced Books and Walmart. Also Sprouts and Whole Foods. Hospital nearby. As far as travel, traffic is bad, might want to consider the bus not far from Decatur train station.

Shayla is such an incredible employee and cares so much about her customers experiences. I am so grateful to her and her team for all of their help!! We couldn’t have held our event without them.

Every selection of fabrics, notions,threads and more are a bit over priced, but the coupons help a lot. The quality of the products are better as a posed to other fabric stores in the area, and they have gotten much better with the customer service which for me is very important. Teaching new students the art of sewing is made a bit easier when they shop here and ask for help, they will receive the help they need to purchase the proper things for their projects.

Rebecca was so kind and patient while a customer was asinine and belligerent about coupons and sales. She handled the situation very well, solving the customer’s problems as they arose and called for backup to deal with the line that ensued.

Great customer service and helpful

I went to Joann to purchase an item that was $100 and I had a coupon for 60% off. That would make the total around $40, comparable to the price of the exact item on Amazon. However, apparently, the item was on sale for a whopping $78, double the price with the coupon and the price on Amazon. I probably will not shop at this overpriced chain any more. The employee wasnt even willing to call in a manager to discuss. Completely ridiculous.

I had such a great encounter with one of the employees at the fabric cutting station. She was an older Asian lady who was so happy & friendly. Her cheerfulness was contagious; thats the kind of person you want in customer service.
