Cole and his workers are awesome. I called about a bike that was in stock and I picked it up the next day. As soon as I came in I was greeted with kindness and taken care of. Not my local bike shop, but I wish it was. Clean shop, well stocked, and good people. Anything bike related, go here. Thank you so much for a worry free experience. While I didnt physically visit the Spin City store, I had a bike shipped to me a few states away. It was a bike that was in short supply and in incredibly high demand. I worked with Kyle and he could not have been more helpful, quickly communicating and coordinating the entire shipment process to another bike shop. Bikes, clothes and all the like are just things, but I like to do business with good people. Kyle and the Spin City staff are GREAT people!! If you need anything at all bike-related in Illinois (or beyond for that matter) Spin City is the best choice you can make!

Backstory: A few years ago when I lived in Champaign, IL, I bought an on sale Giant Defy, but they didn’t do a fit or any of the things that you should do if you want to provide a great customer experience. Basically they pushed me out the door as soon as they could. I came back a few weeks later with some questions. They quick ran through some things and guilted me in to buying some bike tubes because I was “getting away cheap.” My thought was that if you’re mad that I bought the bike for the sale price you listed, maybe you should have charged more for it! Don’t make the customer feel bad about paying your asking price!I posted a three star review here, and the new owner responds. He goes back through his sales log to find my sale. He couldn’t find it (but that’s not really any of my concern). Regardless, his effort shows quite a bit of commitment to getting to the bottom of things. I appreciate that, so I’m giving him an extra star based on his effort to understand things.

Great service and friendly staff. Helped me with a helmet for my daughter in a pinch. I will be back!

My husband and I both love Spin City! They are a great asset to our community! They have a great selection, and if you dont see what you want they will probably special order it for you. They are full of knowledge, kind and genuine.

Ive worked with Spin City enough that we are friendly now and I do enjoy supporting local businesses, however, Spin City does not do much to help the would-be cyclist. Theyre the best bike shop on this side of town, but beyond their location, there is no aspect in which I prefer them to Decatur Bicycle Shop.

Great bike shop and excellent service! What keeps me coming back is that SCC does a fantastic job of coordinating fun events to keep people riding their bikes together! I drive up from out of town to join them as often as possible.

Kyle and his staff go above and beyond to meet customer needs and satisfaction. Whenever I have a problem, or question, about a bike I go to them. They have fixed my bike, cleaned and tuned up my bike in the off season, and special ordered items for me.We live in the, “Amazon Age” where everyone blindly orders things online. It is nice having a local bike shop where I can get sound advice from people with experience.Additionally, Spin City is active in our communities by organizing rides and being involved with different events. They epitomize everything a local small business should be. Without hesitation, I recommend them to everyone.

Spin city cycles are really good. They have excellent customer service, maybe the best Ive seen, and they also have some of the best variety of bikes. They let you test ride some bikes and they make sure that you are happy with your choice. I definitely think that this store is the best bike store in all of Decatur. I give it a 4 star because of their prices, they sure are pricey, but I guess its worth it.

I dont really think of Spin City as a business, they are more like family members. They have helped me achieve a love of cycling that I shall carry with me and share with my family for many years to come. They have helped me pick the equipment that is best for me, not necessarily best for their bottom line and they have consistently been there as I question what I need and where I go as I progress in the sport. Kyle, Aaron, Sam and the others are always going above and beyond in making sure I am where I need to be with the right equipment while also challenging me to improve and grow. Whether you are new to the sport or a seasoned master Kyle and the others at Spin City will treat you like family, with a health dose of respect and professionalism.

Great place, very knowledgeable and helpful staff! They helped me find the right bike, help me keep it maintained, offer free maintenance workshops, and lots of good advice.

Ive shopped with these guys for several years. Its the perfect blend of a small town shop where they remember your name, preferences, and even bike measurements. They also have the bigger city feel too with the different brands they carry. The shop has a really cool atmosphere and the guys are very professional too. I highly recommend them for all your cycling needs.

Best place to buy bikes and athletic clothing in Central Illinois. The staff is really friendly and always available to answer a question. SCC also puts on a lot of group rides, so theres always someone to ride with. They also organize several charity events for the community throughout the year. If youre thinking about getting a bike, give Spin City a shot.
