My daughter was in one of his tractors when it caught on fire (Literally flames coming out of the engine). Instead of being the “man” he claims to be and taking responsibility, he acts like it is no big deal,since no one was severely harmed (my father in law got burned trying to put the fire out) He waited weeks after the fire to even come get the tractor… and is now acting like a child and making mean Facebook post because he is actually being held accountable for his mistakes.

I bought a tractor from Fredricks. I called them on Sept. 8th needing them to pick up the tractor due to it catching fire. After 3 weeks worth of calls and no response I left a review on their facebook page about the service I received. The owner Tom Fredricks began bashing me on that post and then shared it on his personal page with the caption of me being a Karen. I paid $35,000 for said tractor and simply wanted it looked at. He doesnt care about his customers. I will share my comment and his response. I would have never done business with him had I known his character or the way he conducts business.

I bought a brand new outboard motor from them in May and had to follow up with them on something and their customer service has been incredible.I dealt with Rachel specifically and she is knowledgeable, smart, tech-savvy, and professional.

The team at Fredricks Outdoor always goes head and shoulders above any other service team that I have dealt with.I own a small business, and they have taken wonderful care of my lawncare equipment every time I have needed them. From purchasing to servicing, I highly recommend them. And when the lawn care equipment has had an issue, they have stopped whatever they were doing to help me get my equipment up and running so I can get back to work. Ive never seen anything like it. Its simply amazing.And ever since the first time they helped me with growing my business, I knew then that they were my go-to team. I cannot thank them enough.You make me feel like we are part of your team. Thank yall for all you do.

Went to the Trace Adkins concert at Fredricks with my daughter Saturday November 7th. We had the best time. All the staff and law enforcement officers were very helpful and friendly. The setup was very good. The area was very clean and neat and well laid out. And the T-shirt deal is absolutely awesome!!!! We definitely look forward to going back to another concert!!!!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Many many stars to the wonderful staff of Fredricks Outdoors and also to the owner, Tom. JOB VERY WELL DONE!!!

If I could give them less than one star I would give them a 1/4 star, only because they actually had tractors in stock for me to look at. The experience was sub par and resulted in me taking my business elsewhere. The Mahindra 1626 was the tractor package deal I was looking at, but due to no fault of my own Fredericks did not want to work with me to get me the package, and I was informed that they had done everything they could to get me financed. I made one phone call to a dealership 2.5 hours away and within 5 minutes I was approved for a much better financing option( 0% for 84months the special that Mahindra is running on select models, and I was told Fredericks would not honor). The sad thing is the dealership further away used the exact same financing option through Mahindra, they just took the extra step to personally talk to their sales representative on my behalf, something that Fredericks was unwilling to do. The business further away realized that me only being 22 was affecting my chances of buying a tractor and in turn hurting my dream of starting a small farming operation. A company that takes pride in making a sale and taking care of their customers no matter their age is a company that I will always do business with, it is sad that I will no longer shop at a business that is closer to home.

They were able to get me one of the very few Yamaha boats left for 2020 at a lower price than any competitors. Scott was very knowledgeable and made us feel very comfortable and welcome. He answered all our questions and we didn’t feel rushed about our big purchase. Definitely recommend to anyone!!

Very pleased with service on my boat. They were able to also fix an issue I was having with my troller motor mount. For sure will be back if I ever need my boat serviced or repaired again.

No matter the amount of money you spend here this place is a JOKE! We have purchased 2 boats here as well as sthil lawn equipment. I ask for a price and shipping time on a boat cover its been well over a week and I have yet to get a phone call. So I call today to check on it and the lady is so RUDE there is no way I would do business with them again! She ask for my info and says she emailed the lady who works with the covers and she must be ignoring her, I ask he to call her and she states no WE EMAIL. Well clearly that isnt working, and you think you would do whatever it took to make a sale especially during this time. But no she wanted to start rambling about her having 70+ boats to take care of on the lot blah blah blah. Whatever the case is I am done with this place, I highly suggest you take your business else where!

Drove from Atlanta to buy my boat here and will drive to buy my next one here. These guys have a great selection and will go out of their way to help answer questions and get you out on the water. I called George about a Chapparal and he had it ready for a test run the next day. Super knowledgeable.

I went out to Fredericks to get some information on my bad boy zero-turn they were very helpful and so my problem got solved plus I got two keys from my lawn mower while I was out there they have always been very helpful

And 5 more ! A suggestion with these big concerts the may want to look at a way to pick ppl up and drive them to the gate to get in. My mother in law had a hard time getting in. But ppl were really nice offering her help.

So I’m going to go with a 3 stars and that’s because I’m trying to be kind. We arrived today to look around as we were looking for information on pontoon boats. We did have our dog on a leash and we also did see and read the sign of the dogs on the business property. No problem. One gentleman asked what we were interested in? My husband said boats. The man told us about the dogs and that was it. Other than that no help was offered. I don’t think I’ve been anywhere where at least I wasn’t asked if we could be helped and someone actually helping us. So that was our experience with Fredericks Outdoors. So we took our business up the road to Guntersville.

Great selection, location is next to I-65 but youre not going to access the site directly, it will be a ride to get there, its not too far out of the way. Plenty of room and parking. They might be the largest yanmar dealership in the southern states.

Just bought a boat and it was delivered yesterday and hopefully putting in the lake this afternoon. From the start of looking for the boat Fredricks was awesome. Tom called me and answered questions with in minutes of asking for more information. Greg took care of financing and had the boat delivered before the busy holiday!!! Rat the delivery man was professional and on time. I live 9 hrs away but when i am ready to upgrade they will be the first dealer I call!

Id like to give a shout out to Coe Gwathney, the Stihl sales rep. at Fredericks Outdoor. I have over 25 years experience with customer service and standouts like him are a rarity. He did an excellent job in giving good information and advice regarding the entire product line up. He was very responsive to phone and email requests that I had from wadding through the enormous choices given in each Stihl product line. This was a refreshing experience over many of the Stihl dealers in the Birmingham area. The others often appeared not to be interested in outfitting a small business start up. Crazy as it seems, several seemed inconvenienced that I came into their business even during non peak hours, not so with Coe. So give him a call and tell him I sent you.

I trust Fredricks with all my boat maintenance. Their service is top notch and they are always helpful. My daughter (toddler) loves seeing all the dogs and other animals so that adds another level of enjoyment when I take my boat for service.

Stopped by just a few minutes ago. Walked around looking at Mahindra tractors. Guy passed right by me on golf cart, with fredrick outdoors on the side. Just as if I wasnt there, didnt even speak. So I believe, ill take my business elsewhere.

The service we have received both during the sale and after the sale has been outstanding. We had a very small problem initially with our Mahindra tractor and everyone, from the owner to dispatcher, went above and beyond what we had expected in performing the service. Would recommend Fredricks to anyone and look forward to being their customer for years to come in both sales and service.Possibly the very best total customer service I have experienced so if shopping and reading reviews you really need to give them a try before you buy.

Purchased a new mercury outboard engine for my jonboat a couple months back. Fredricks beat anyones price in a 150mile radius by at least 1k. It took a bit for them to get it on and everything installed but Im a bit impatient. They were understanding and worked with me. I understood any engine above a 25hp doesnt come with a prop and was speachless when I picked my boat up and it had one installed. They treated me right even when I was acting like a douche. Definitely a nice place with great prices and even better customer service. Will be a returning customer in the future when I need to make another big purchase. -Chris

Boat went in for engine service.Picked up with a ding in all 3 blades of my prop ( they ran it to test it out, must have clobbered something), a missing rod holder and the garbage from their work left in my boat and I had to remove my throttle assembly to tighten a very loose bolt . Lack of competition makes you lazy I guess. And ...this was my first time and last time there. Great first impression .

My husband and I went to this dealership knowing almost nothing about dirt bikes and left the proud owners of both a KLX 140 and TTR 230. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and gave us time to decide without pressuring us one way or another (and we were there for quite a few hours). I would definitely recommend this shop for both beginners and seasoned riders: you wont find a better price in Alabama.
