I’ve purchased four vehicles from Bob Brady and due to living about 100 miles away I usually just text my sales guy, tell him what I want and he gets it in and I come in and pick it up. I did that last week, had let him know I would be in at 0930 Friday to pick up my new car, with a check in hand. I didn’t get out of the dealership until after 1130. Any other customer service wouldn’t be allowed to make a customer wait over two hours for their product. The car wasn’t washed when I showed up, the finance guy wasn’t ‘available’, everyone was in meeting when I got there. I’m terribly disappointed in the service and after this experience can’t imagine using this dealership again.

Less than pleasant experience here. Would not recommend going here to purchase or lease a car. Salesman was nice at first, but once I established that I knew what I was doing in regards to negotiating the lease, it went downhill from there. Was mislead and told false information several times. The salesman tried to essentially scare me into a deal by repeatedly telling me how much I might have to pay on my current lease (using the trade-in price if my car was full of rust and faulty engine which it is not), making his deal seem like a good one (it was not). And finally I realized that, after I had negotiated the sale price of the vehicle down, they had simply added $2000 to the total price of the lease (to keep their profit) without telling me where that money was coming from. Two hours of them talking in circles saying they couldnt budge on the price (I had calculated a price that was $50 less/month using their own numbers). So I walked away and went straight to another dealer who was happy to negotiate to the price I was looking for. The salesman also mentioned how he routinely quotes people prices $3000 below dealer cost so that they can negotiate better deals elsewhere. Told me that right in the middle of trying to screw me out of $2000! So shady! Someone who didnt know what to look for in the numbers would have easily been duped. There are dealers out there who are reasonable and honest and will work with you for your business rather that try to scam you out of money. This is not one of those dealers.

Had an amazing stress free car buying experience here. Bought a used Hyundai Sonata in pristine condition. Mike, the sales manager, was down to earth and easy to work with. Christyna DeLude was our salesperson and answered every question we had. She went above and beyond for us, as the car we purchased was a surprise first car for our daughter. Christyna has a huge bow made and went out of her way to deliver it to us in Springfield the next day so that we could surprise our daughter. Was he best car buying experience we’ve had. Definitely recommend!

I brought my Honda Pilot in having an issue with the sound system. They were unable to reproduce the problem, which I knew might happen, but they performed a factory reset. Hopefully that will take care of it. I cannot tell you how surprised I was when I went to leave and they had washed it for me. I had driven 300 miles on sloppy roads in the last couple days and boy did it need it! I did not have time to wash it before my 8am appointment because it takes me almost an hour to get there. I had doubts about coming back to Brady to buy another vehicle because of the travel, but every visit Ive had there has reinforced that it was a good choice. Thank you!

One of the worst car buying experiences - we had to back out in the middle of a deal. My friend and salesperson named Joe had spoken over phone and via emails, and had come to an agreement on the sale price, accessories, loan details etc. before we headed out to their showroom, which is 90 miles from where we live in Peoria. When we got there, they tricked my friend into signing a credit request form, even though hed mentioned that he didnt want any loan from Honda Financials. They assured us that it was not for that purpose but to check for other qualifying offers and compare it with the offer from a Credit Union that wed already had with us. When we got into the Finance Managers cabin, a bald headed guy with a villainous frown (cant recollect his name) treated us disrespectfully right from the beginning. My friend was about to sign one of the agreement forms, when I noticed the lien holder name as Honda Trust, to which we questioned what it was for. He said this deal works out only if we were to go through Honda Financials, which was not the agreement right from the beginning. When we asked him what the APR was from Honda, he mentioned 4.99%. For a credit score of 750 plus, with an offer of 1.49% APR from a credit union in hand, having violated the terms of his agreement, he must be joking to enforce such a ridiculous deal at us. When we didnt consent to it, he just threw the papers away and said this deal is off. He/the dealership needed that commission desperately from Honda Financials, is what I come to gather from this sort of cheating / disrespectable violation of the agreed upon terms. Seriously folks, if you read other reviews about this dealership, youll know that they cheated many into driving down to their dealership with false promises and agreements only to violate them later. If you want to save your time, energy and money, head somewhere else is what I would recommend.

My husband is looking for a new car and we were visiting from out of town and decided to stop in. It was so hot outside that we came inside first to talk to someone. The first person we met was Amy Brust (had to write her name down.) She was so friendly, offered us something to drink right away while striking up conversation. It is not very often that I go places that people will look you in the eyes and say hello! She was not the sales person she didnt have to impress me but she did! Because I felt welcome right away, it made the experience so much more than just looking for a car I felt like I made a friend too! Thanks for hiring people that care and obviously having a work environment that people like to work in!! We will be back!

We had a decent experience with our auto purchase. The salesman Eddie was pretty straight forward, gave us a great deal on our purchase, and we would highly recommend him!However, the finance team seems pretty shady. Everyone knows finance associates make commissions on back end sales, extended warranties, gap insurance, ect., When we asked what the terms of the loan would be for the new vehicle, he told us it would be a payment of 350, I asked what was making the payment higher than we thought it shouldve been considering it was a lower priced car? He assured me that it was because I had a lower credit score and the interest rate was higher....oh, and theres an extended warranty built into the loan but its a small amount. I asked him what the amount was and he said that it was as $15 monthly payment build into the loan, I let him know we usually do not get them and we were not interested in this one, he then said that he would do a special for us because he wanted us to be safe and he would lower the cost to make $5 per month making our payment $340 per month. I had him show me the coverage information and after reviewing it I said that seemed like a good deal and that would be fine. He wrote up the paper work and we signed the deal and were on our way. Not 10 minutes after leaving the dealership I looked at the paperwork again, not noticing that they had written in a $2400 Service Plan. We turned the car around and I called and asked to speak to Rey in finance and asked him what this Service plan for $2400 was, he said that was the extended warranty, I asked him how $5 per month for 60 months ended up being $2400? He said he mustve mixed up his words but that it was a good policy and well worth the investment. I let him know I was on my way back to his office to resign paperwork and that doing business like that is a shady way to make his commission, not only did he lie to my face, the payment was never $350, it was $280 and he knew it. He said he would have the new paperwork ready for me when I arrived. We showed up, signed the new contract, He didnt say a word.All in all, we are happy with our new (used) vehicle.Yes, We should have reviewed the final contracts better and were Disgusted that we were lied to.Edit 5/21/19The GM did contact us and apologized for the situation. He seemed like he understood our frustrations and offered us free service on our new vehicle in the future. He also let us know that this situation is not how they they want to be portrayed as a company and they had remedied the situation.We greatly appreciated the follow up and apology, if we do business here again we will definitely pay closer attention to the details as we should have done originally.

When I arrived at my appointment time the salesman was not aware we had an appointment. Apparently a breakdown in communication between the internet sales dept and the sales floor. Joe was very kind and did what he could for me given he was juggling other customers. Since I had no intention of buying today it worked out fine but it wasnt a good 1st impression.

Dont go to Brady Honda,Brought my vehicle in to have a recall on passager side air bag fixed. Also decided to have them fix a sensor on drivers side buckle and an oil change. Got the car back and the AC didnt work. Was working 100% before I came in. Had no issues on the way to the dealership. They wanted me to pay $170 to diagnose what happened in the two minutes between the time I handed them the keys and they tech looked at it. Really? I give it to you working and now its broke and you want me to pay to find out what happened?
