The empanadas guys! Get the empanadas! Especially if you come around 8 am when they are fresh. And the fact that this is a coffee shop with an actual food menu makes it an obvious choice. The owners are extremely nice as well.

Lovely spot for the traditional Latin (and American) drinks I love! Baileys, kahlua, and wine have also found there way on the menu. Patio and indoor dining are in plenty. Wifi and printing options are also found with in.

The café has a wonderful selection of pastries and drinks. I highly recommend their Golden Latte. It is absolutely delicious. The environment is clean and inviting. Its the perfect study spot. :)

A little pricey but great coffee and food.

Great food! Plenty of parking spaces. Nice outdoor patio. Meat a bit dry on my cuban sandwich but the taste is spectacular. The bread to meat to mustard ratio seemed perfect to my palette on the Cuban sandwich. Tasted quite fresh. Staff were friendly and helpful. Coffee has that rich chocolatey taste. Presentation is quite pleasing. Price is higher than expected.

The place is casual, cozy, and serves delicious coffee and food. Its right next to Emory. A great place to write, read, be creative, or bring a date. They also offer printing services and wine, beer. If you enjoy not so crowded places, a good time to be here would be mid afternoon to early evening.

This place is really bad. They were unable to make their signature drink because they were out of something. Espresso is so weak Ive had better out of a break room coffee pot thats 4 hours old. Guava and cheese empanada is just filled with jelly, no cheese. Waste of time, calories, and $15.

It was a bit crowded, especially with COVID-19 stuff going on, but the food and coffee were good.

We decided to give this place a try after passing it by too many times. Im sorry it took us so long to go! The coffee was great (I had a very smooth, delicious Americano, my wife had the signature Golden Latte). We also tried their sampler. Everything was great. Victor was charming and informative. He was running things by himself, so there was a bit of a wait, but he gave everyone attention and did a great job with the food and drinks. Its charming and lovely. Go.

I drove by this place Saturday afternoon and thought it would be a nice place to try Sunday morning. My wife and I just spent 3weeks in 4 countries in Europe so were on a cafe kick.The owner gave us the low down on where the beans come from and his moms Dominican cooking.I had a cappuccino and Cuban sandwich. The cappuccino was rich, full of flavor and delicious. The Cuban sandwich was light, warm and AMAZING. We look for a new place every weekend but well definitely be back here.Sorry for the pic of a half eaten sandwich but I couldnt wait to take a bite. Once I took one, I had to have another :-)

The server/cashier didnt know the menu and I believe Latin Coffee is a misnomer when they dont serve, Cubano. Slow service and very expensive for coffee, just because the coffee have fancy names.

Its really casual, and although a stand alone spot, its community atmosphere addresses the sit customers; and those relaxing over coffee.Separate restrooms, not easily accessible for wheelchairs.Theres parking.Outside dining area, and unique space arranged inside for individuals, groups, hehe gatherings to enjoy it.

We’ve ordered food via Uber eats twice from here and loved it so we decided to go here in person for a light lunch. We were extremely pleased with the food, drinks and service. Victor took our order and he was incredibly warm and enthusiastic!Things we LOVE: veggie sandwich, cappuccino (one of the best cappuccinos I’ve had in Atlanta), smoothies (especially the pineapple juice, and I don’t even like pineapple), cheese empanadas and the flan.We’ll definitely be making more trips here.

This is a wonderful new cafe that I happened to stumble upon. Coffee beans are all natural, single-origin, procured from El Salvador, and brewed to perfection. No oily residue (usually evidence of over-roasting), this is more of a medium roast. Further, they serve an array of hispanic baked goods, pastry sweets, and small meals. Great patio area, dog friendly, and the staff is joyous and amicable - making the experience well worth it!

Bought the Golden Drops Signature Latte and it was great. The chicken empanada and the ham and cheese empanada were also excellent.The vibe in the location is awesome and I was happy to see they were following COVID precautions. Staff were also extremely friendly.The only reason Im not rating this 5 stars is due to price. Two lattes and two empanadas costed ~$20 which is a bit expensive. The coffee size was about the size of a Starbucks Tall. Not exactly the best size for the cost.Will go back, but only on special occasions.

The Golden Latte is, by far, one of the best Lattes Ive ever had! The ambiance in the shop is chill and welcoming and the staff are so pleasant and kind. Great place to park out for a bit and work/study. They have a bar/counter-top area against the windows so you can prop up with a laptop and not take up an entire table or be worried about people thinking youre weird for hanging out by yourself.

A little off the beaten path, I really enjoyed my visit to Golden Drops Café. I had a Cuban Sandwich and a Golden Latte. So yummy.There is free wifi and a decent number of tables inside and out. I could definitely see myself coming back here the next time Im in town.

This was our first visit and it exceeded our expectations. The owners are super nice and the food and coffee was awesome.We had the Golden Latte which was simply amazing. Highly recommend.We ate a beef empanada, ham and cheese empanada and a couple of the coxinhas. All was very tasty. I could eat ten of the coxinhas.Be sure to talk with the owner and learn the history of their coffee and store!Well be back!

I just moved back to Atlanta, and I am so glad to see this gem of a place doing well. Excellent coffee, I go for the golden latte- I usually dont go for added flavors, but the golden latte is nicely spiced and not overly sweet.Guava pastries are fantastic. Looking forward to having a Cuban sandwich soon.Also, have to mention everyone who works here has been very friendly at every visit.

A must try at least once. Great place to sample Latin & South American food! Their veggie & cheese/guava empanadas were not my favorite because of the weird texture/taste of the dough. Service can be a little slow but nice staff.

Having waited 25 minutes for a $5 cappuccino while it wasn’t that busy, I was expecting a great drink especially with all of the great reviews. Unfortunately the cappuccino was so watery I barely tasted any espresso. however, the empanada was good so redeemed it 2 stars.Having just moved, here it’s surprising the amount of reviews it’s the best coffee in Atlanta. Maybe i’m spoiled from living in South Florida previously with lower prices, quality coffee, & efficient service. So it’s unlikely I’ll be back here for any espresso, maybe for the food but that’s it.If your looking for a chill study atmosphere or a comforting meal it’s perfect, but for a caffeine fix I would go elsewhere.

My fiance and I took a trip on a Sunday. This has been on my list of cafes to visit for a few weeks and I am so happy we took a trip. I was born and raised in Los Angeles and moved to Atlanta about a year and a half ago. One of the things I miss about LA are the latin cafes. So, I was super excited to find out they served Latin Coffees. After we ordered, I was able to talk to Victor. He was super sweet and you could tell he is very passionate about coffee. I learned that he was born in the Dominican Republic and he sources his coffee beans from El Salvador. I am Salvadoran, so to hear this made me so excited. I have not been able to find a coffee shop that sources their beans from Central America, so I was thrilled to hear this.To drink, I ordered the Golden Latte with Almond Milk and my fiance ordered a Mango Shake. To eat, I ordered a vegetable and cheese empanada and my fiance ordered a sampler. I meant to take a photo of our food, but we were so excited I completely forgot. But, they were absolutely delicious.We are so excited to have found Golden Drops Cafe and cannot wait to return. Definitely a place I will be taking my friends and family when they are in town to visit.

Everything I’ve had here has been wonderful—the coffee is rich and delicious, and they’re able to accommodate dietary restrictions when they make the drinks. Plus, the family that owns Golden Drops is exceptionally kind and takes such pride in what they serve their customers. I come here as much for the welcoming, warm ambience as I do for the coffee. I love this place! Its a hidden gem. Its so quiet and the barista was friendly and helpful. The food looked great. He suggested the house specialty for my coffee and it was perfect (it had honey in it). I live downtown, but I will definitely stop here when I am in the area. It is a great place to work and get a bite to eat. I highly recommend it for self employed people or students.

Stopped in for a cup for the first time today. It was a fantastic experience. Victor was great. He was excited about their line of beans and all the care that goes into the service. This will be my morning stop now as I head north on Clairmont most mornings heading to work. You must stop in and check this place out. The food looked and smelled amazing as well.

Golden Drops is fantastic! I was feeling adventurous one day so I stopped by this quirky cafe. The owner is very pleasant and told me about the cafe’s origin! I love the Golden Latte, it’s like a regular latte but with lots of spices. It’s delicious! Also, don’t sleep on the empanadas. Overall, great cafe!

Took a little while but best coffee I’ve ever had. Don’t know if it was the caffeine content but I never want a Folgers/keurig cup again. Dude behind counter was very nice as well. Good spot 5 stars just be prepared if you have somewhere to be quickly thereafter.

Relaxing ambiance. And food thats more than just pastries. But it was majorly understaffed. This ruins everything. If this place wants to stay in business, they need to hire more staff. This will ensure that the food is fresh, orders are correct, and you dont have to wait.

So glad that I dont have to go all the way to Marietta for Brazilian bakery items! This place has a simple and clean menu with all the essentials. You wont get a huge variety of items - just the basics, and it will do just fine! Definitely a keeper on my list of good cafes around here.

The espresso drinks are fantastic and the owner is super friendly. My favorite is their signature golden latte although I admit this is the first one I tried and I have to order it every time I go. Feel like South America style of coffee shop. Takes some time to get our coffee and dessert (gluten free coconut cake). Coffee is flavorful, and unique. Would come here again for other food they offer.

Quite honestly the best mocha with almond milk Ive ever had, and Im from Seattle where coffee is a way of life! They use fair trade coffee from 4 Monkeys Coffee Roasters. There is indoor and outdoor seating, plenty of parking, and a small variety of foods which I have yet to try. Will definitely return 😊

Love this cafe! This place makes my morning. The BEST soy latte I have had. Their coffee quality is great and not to mention the food is delicious. Highly recommend the empanadas (although you really cant go wrong ordering anything here). The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Victor, the owner, takes the time to get to know his customers and has great stories to share. Environment is also nicely lit and perfect for studying/working.
