My son wanted to buy a Harley Quin statue for his Dad for Fathers day. The man who helped us was incredibly nice and he was very patient with my son who is on the autism spectrum. We were in and out and very pleased with our service and our purchase. I would definitely recommend shopping here for comic and memorabilia needs.

A GREAT place to get comics, comic supplies, posters, and even non-comic related items! Muncy does a fantastic job keeping the store clean & organized & a greater job on getting books for the customers! A laid back environment, people are allowed to shop at their own pace & can come in & hang out from time to time! I recommend & mention his store to any & every comic geek I run into.

I recently visited for the first time and enjoyed every second! The owner was kind and genuine, especially when I mentioned that I was was looking for specific types of comics. Im from NYC and I been hunting down a comic, a friend who shops there put me on. They was very accommodating, and i found some back issues i wasnt able to get my hands on here up north --so i say this LCS is good in my book - help with grails

The first time I came to The Comic Shop and met the owner Muncy I knew this was gonna be MY LCS💯✊ Not only phenomenal comics and toys and memorabelia but the customer service is hands down the best Ive experienced. Typically LCS owners and clerks tend to be elitest and even snobby but Muncy is the complete opposite, he never made me feel dumb for asking questions about comics and went out of his way to make sure I knew what I was buying and was happy with my purchase.Ive gone back every week to pick up my pull list since, and that was in 2019. I drive past 3 other shops to get here and I wouldnt have it any other way. BIG SHOUT OUT THE COMIC SHOP AND @MARVELOUSMUNCY

By far my favorite comic store, and Ive shopped at all the ones in town. Id come here before the rest every time. Ive never met a cooler, more helpful, more knowledgable staff in 22yrs of collecting comics. The owner is personable and down to earth. No Comic Store Guy(The Simpsons) attitudes here.The selection is insane and they have great toys and statues and stuff too!I dont even buy off ebay any more..lol The Comic Shop is where its at.

Its ok. Not alot of merchandise, really only a place for the locals to play MTG, and even then only on Saturday.

Ive been to a lot of different comic stores, but this one is special! As soon as you walk in the door, you are treated with a welcome from Monte. Plenty of comics and trading card games to choose from. This store makes you feel like home. Cant wait to visit again!

Been here for 25 years I have been coming here since day 1, it is a Decatur staple Aaron is always nice. Magic X-Wing and D&D with plenty of tables. He has gone out of his way to find back issue for me. If you want a comic thats not on a shelf get a box so you wont miss an issue.

Best place to get comics, play Magic or hang out in the 256. The owner helped me get into reading comic books and gave me a point to start reading. As long as I live in the area Ill keep coming back, thank you for what you do.

Not much in the way of back issues. Small news stand with only maybe 30 titles carried. The owners nice. I was from out of town and he gave me a subscriber discount. Go check em out.

Aaron Muncy is the owner of this establishment and is locally known and loved. He features a great variety of comics, memorabilia, and a ton of Magic, The Gathering goods. If youre a fan of the above mentioned, definitely pay The Comic Shop a visit.
