I had the most incredible experience with Shane. So I dropped my laptop and the hinges and part of the screen cracked. I couldn’t open it the laptop without it breaking. I took it to a laptop repair shop which told me it would take a week. One week turned to two weeks without my laptop and when I picked it up…I was told it he couldn’t fix it.I took it to Shane the same day. He was so nice and knowledgeable also VERY passionate about the work he does. Shane reassessed my laptop and realized there was an additional part that needed to be ordered.it would take about 4 days. I was frustrated but new it was necessary.Shane called me a few hours later super excited! He looked around his office and was able to find the exact part that I needed. He fixed my laptop and I was able to get it the very next day! My laptop looks better than before and works perfectly.Awesome! Trustworthy! Knowledgeable and passionate!!! Had Shane look at my laptop to try to fix an issue with it sounding like the fan was on too loud. Tbh I dropped it years ago & never got it fixed. Shane was totally cool, understanding, and did EVERYTHING possible to try to save me money! He tried cleaning out the insides of the computer & reimaging it before ordering the fan. Eventually we did have to order the fan, but he took so many pictures of whenever he was cleaning out the computer that I was blown away! Very unprofessional experience. Had an appointment set for my nephew and when we showed up owner was not there. This business is at a house. Called Shane and he said he was at the mall but could come pick up the computer from our home. I had a difficult problem with my Lenovo ThinkPad Carbon X1 laptop that was hard to diagnose (flickering and screen freezing intermittently), so I searched for nearby computer repair places. I came across Back to Life Computer Repairs and read the reviews about Shane and his work. It was a gamble for me to take it to him because the problem was not an easy one to pinpoint, but Im so glad I decided to let him have a look. He was able to diagnose it as the motherboard and ordered another one to replace it. The part took a few days to put in, but he kept me informed via text and sent me pictures of every update. He installed the motherboard as soon as it came in, and he was able to get it fixed and working like new again! The price of his work was very reasonable and saved me a lot by not having to ship my laptop off to Lenovo (and wait for over a month). He was a very nice and personable guy that really listens and is very accommodating to your time schedule. He was able to meet me at his shop when I could get there, and that counts for a lot with my busy schedule. I cant recommend Shane with BTL enough. About a year ago my desktop began to suffer a serious case of blinking on and off. I put it aside until I found BTL. I contacted Shane and he promptly responded to make arrangements to repair. One day i randomly looked up computer companies near me and this company was the second on the list. I called and he answered right away. I told him the problems my computer was having and he asked me to bring it in. He then gave me a diagnosis and a price. The price was very affordable and he got my laptop back up and running in ONE DAY. It feels BRAND NEW. He gave me Microsoft, new windows 10, and other things i thought about throughout the day. I brought my laptop here to have my hinge replaced which meant the entire frame had to be replaced. Found decent prices for parts (I also needed a new internet cable and he replaced my screen for free because it messed up as he replaced the frame). The real issues came when it was time to pick my laptop up. It was no longer turning on, and I’d already been without my laptop going on two weeks. I took it back to him and he couldn’t fix it so I took it to someone else. Turns out, there were a bunch of things he disconnected and failed to reconnect, so I had to pay someone else for his mistakes just to get my laptop back

It was sad but informative. I went to Back to Life to do a HDD recovery, unfortunately I told Shane I needed a HD recovery. That one letter makes the difference because Shane doesnt specialize in that, but he recommended to me two places that does along with discounts! Also what he able to do was put an OS (operating system) on my new hard drive. Even did a bonus favor for me! I came across Shane earlier this week (March 25th week) and sought him out after all of the wondrous recommendations on Google. After his service I add my own! Go see Shane!!

He was able to successfully replace my logic board in less than 24 hours and even texted a screenshot of it fully powered on! When my laptop dropped off of my desk (which literally felt like everything happened in a matter of seconds), I was devastated when my screen cracked and half of the screen was white. I use my computer for multiple tasks: I teach English and Music online to people in other countries, am in school full time to get my Masters degree in Ethnomusicology, and am starting up my own business. My computer IS my career. Not only that...I love this computer! I worked so hard to buy it and had it for only two years! I just randomly searched in google to see if I could find someone and BAM!....there was Back to Life. I shrugged my shoulder and decided to give them a call. It was a little before they opened when I called because I was in between classes, (that is what happens when you are panicking) however, when Mr. Shane did not answer initially, something told me to call him back when my classes were finished. In between my classes within 15 minutes, Mr. Shane not only called me twice, but left me a text message with the most professional greeting! I immediately called back once I got a chance. BEST DECISION MADE.To make a long story short, Mr. Shane is the BEST person to fix ANY of your technology needs in Atlanta! His professionalism is OUT OF THIS WORLD amazing and I sit before you today creating this review on my laptop which looks COMPLETELY transformed and BROUGHT BACK TO LIFE. When my screen did not come that day, he provided me with a loaner because he knew I used my computer so much, and it definitely was great for him to do that because he did not have to. Even down to him making me feel like an actual family member by giving me a hug and insisting that I was in good hands and I did not have to worry about my laptop. I knew he had multiple customers and some of them even walked in while I was in my consultation, but he never made us feel like one was more important than the other. He also explained to me what was going on internally and gave me a proper consultation. Not only that, he gave me MULTIPLE options that I could do if the price was not within my budget, which it was not because it was a random and short notice fix, but it was definitely affordable because I knew if I took it anywhere else, they would have charged me another $100 for the damage that had been done. Shane was able to replace my hard drive at a reasonable cost and also went out of his way to make sure all my programs were working correctly. Super satisfied with the job he did.

When my laptop unexpectedly wouldnt charge I called BTL and Shane immediately answered the phone. He looked at my laptop, did a quick assessment, and assured me it could be repaired in a matter of a couple of hours. MY COMPUTER WAS DEAD. It only went to the bios, pretty much the hard drive was shot. I own a Wacom cintiq companion 2. Its an expensive drawing tablet computer. When I called Wacom, the company, they told me all my files were gone and that in order to fix it I would have to pay $800. My friend suggested Shane and I was pessimistic because he stated that he never worked on a computer like mine before. He not only got my computer up and running, he also had all my files AND PROGRAMS in tact ready to be worked on. The whole experience was LESS THAN HALF of what Wacom was offering and that included a new hard drive. I cant stress enough how much he saved my work. I am an animator/graphic designer who depends on my computer for money and this company literally saved my computer. Had to redo this so, the services offered by the tech Shane was immaculate, I work from home so when my computer was damaged he answered on a Sunday and worked fast he replaced the computer and switched some things around so I can have access to my previous files, I was able to keep my job and Im still there to this date, only issue is The wife is a stalker, this chick took pictures of me and my son caught her, she also called my phone a few times at weird hours, Horrible for business
